[god sorry i was afk]
Heathernose hadn't been sure what to do at first. She was not a good fighter at all. However, she decided that she was going to try and fight the badgers anyways. She jumped on one that hadn't been attacked yet and sunk her claws into it's side. The badger tried to reach onto its side so it could bite her, but she was just out of its reach. She kept her claws sunk into it's side as she bit the badger. This time, it began to violently shake itself to get her off, and this worked, as she was flung off and fell onto the ground. She hissed in pain when she fell, all the breath knocked out of her for a few seconds.

Wildmist sprang after the badger that attacked Nightglisten. "Go!" She ordered him, clawing ferociously at the animal.
Owlwhisker's eyes widened. "Snowbird!" He growled and kept onto the badger.

Nightglisten exchanged a brief glance with the she-cat and dashed from the den, his large black paws kicking up snow as he ran for where Snowbird lay, dodging a badger that tried to launch itself at him and sliding up beside the injured warrior. "You foolish kit..." He muttered as he looked down at the limp she-act, but shaking his head he bent down to lift her onto his back. Noticing more badgers nearing them however, he ended up just hoisting her by her scruff- something that was not the best move, but he needed to rush, and pulled her towards the medicine den. ( If this is ok with you when your back Ivyriver if not just ignore. c: ) Fox yelped in agony as the badger bit into his leg, but he quickly kicked it away and tried to limp towards where Sparrowtail now lay, after the badger had let go of her, now being attacked by Foxpaw. Crowpaw was still helping Badgerpaw, his teeth gritting as he sunk his claws into it's other front leg.

Smallnose flashed him a hasty smile before turning her attention back to the badger and chewing on it's ear. Suddenly the badger grabbed her as he alighted on the ground, pulling her up by her scruff then slamming her into the ground and holding her down while kicking one leg towards Thistlespot's face. Smallnose gasped as he struggled to bite at its' leg and loosen it's grip on her. Nightglisten tried to run after Snowbird but got viciously shoved back by a badger, sending him tumbling into the den. With a screech he launched himself back into battle with the attacking badger, the herbs now in disarray as he had been flung into them. Meanwhile Fox had briefly been knocked down, his head hitting the snow and dirt with thump and his vision blurring. The badger he'd been attacking now had Sparrowtail by the throat and was beginning to drag the cat away. Fox struggled to stand back up but was quickly blocked by another badger who shoved him back into the snow face first. The kick hit him in the nose and made his eyes water but Thistlespots kept fighting, letting out a loud snarl as he clamped down hard on the badger's leg. He felt his teeth connect with bone and the badger let out a screech but didn't turn away from Smallnose — he would have to think of something else. Thistlespots backed away a few steps and the charged forward, leaping and colliding with the badger's shoulder and neck area, growling fiercely. The large creature landed on its side, freeing Smallnose.

Erminetail nodded to Mothdapple, he was worried about the tom and knew that he was exerting himself too much given his current condition. The badgers were everywhere though and he noticed Crowpaw and Badgerpaw trying desperately to fend off the Elder's den. "We have to help" he exclaimed before racing off in that direction.
Badgerpaw rose to her feet, her breathing deep and painful. Her legs were shaking as she tried to remain balanced, the entire underside of her belly felt wet and only now did it occur to her that it was her own blood. She watched Crowpaw and the thought of her denmate putting his own life on the line to help her pushed her over the edge; letting out a yowl of anger she jumped back up and sung her teeth into the badger's shoulder while raking her hind legs across its underbelly. Fur flew in all directions as the badger toppled over.

(It's fine ) Snowbird's eyes fluttered open and closed. The she-cat felt very dizzy and her vision was quite blurred. Their was blood coming out of her ripped scruff. "Emberspark..." She muttered to whoever was carrying her. She was worried about the other warrior. Tawnyhaze yanked down on the badgers throat, finally killing it. He stood up and ran towards Heathernose, giving the she-cat a minute to catch her breath while he occupied the badger. Blackdawn continued to drive them back away from the queens den.

He reared onto his hind legs to attack the badger, but the giant creature raised a mighty paw and knocked him away. He landed against a tree, mind swimming. He tried to regain his footing and began coughing, blood spurting everywhere. He doubled over and vomiting, pain running through his body.

When the queens den was clear for the time being Blackdawn ran to Mothdapple, her eyes stretching wide at the toms condition. She started to shoulder him up. "You need to get out of here." She said, looking towards the medicine cat den. How long before it would be filled with injured cats?

She said, looking towards the medicine cat den. How long before it would be filled with injured cats? "I'm fine," Mothdapple meowed as another bout of coughs racked his body. Pricklepaw glanced over and saw his father in bad condition and rushed over, curly fur bristling. "Dad!" he said desperately, slipping under his other shoulder as they led him to the medicine cat den.

Erminetail spun around in shock, "Mothdapple!" he shouted in panic. When he saw Blackdawn helping him he sighed in relief and ran up to them. "He can't go like this" Erminetail looked at the endless army of badgers in panic. Pricklepaw gazed at the warriors in the battle around him in panic. "Um... Blackdawn, Erminetail, I'll take him to hide and try to help him and then I'll come back out and fight," he said anxiously, leading his father into a thicket behind the den. He let Mothdapple onto a soft patch of moss. "Son," Mothdapple croaked. Pricklepaw rushed to the den to grab a soggy mournful of cobwebs and hurried back, haphazardly placing them on the wounds in the way he had seen Mooneyes do. Breathing heavily, he watched as his father's blood soaked the webs. "Stay still, okay? Just lay here and you'll get better," the younger tom mewed quietly, fur ruffled. Suddenly, he noticed how old his father was. Scars covered Mothdapple's body and his hind leg stuck at an odd ankle. His muzzle was pure silver and his fur had become ragged and thin. Heart pounding, Pricklepaw rushed out to confront a badger that had been looming at the queens' den. 'He'll be okay,' he told himself.

Emberspark fumbled around blindly. "I can't see." she whimpered. Fernpaw had managed to slink to where Emberspark was writhing. "E-Emberspark, what can I do to... help?" she mewed uncertainly, although she was unsure by the look of her eyes if there WAS anything to do. Her chubby paws rested gently on the warrior.

Fernpaw nodded and shouldered Emberspark to her feet. She stumbled along the camp to the medicine cat's den, thankfully avoiding the claws of badgers. They reached the den and the apprentice gently let Emberspark slide to the ground. Fernpaw's stomach twisted as she saw the injury on Emberspark's left eye. "I'm so sorry," she mewed helplessly.

Blackdawn looked at her apprentice seriously. "Take care of him. Make sure he stays hidden." The warrior instructed. Normally she would never leave an injured warrior with an apprentice, but this was Pricklepaw and she chose to trust him. The warrior took to where Emberspark was crawling around. "We need to get you to Mooneyes and Nightglisten." She said quickly, not wanting to tell the warrior one of her eyes was gone. She helped the other apprentice guide the injured warrior to the den. She turned towards the badgers, knowing all the injured cats smell would attract them to the den.
(Snowbird tried to get someone to help her XD)

(Snowbird tried to get someone to help her XD) Pricklepaw ducked the blow of a badger and hurried to find water for his father. He eventually found a damp patch of moss in the forest and returned to Mothdapple. The older tom had fallen still. Panic rose in Pricklepaw's chest and he dropped the moss, rushing up to the warrior. His paws gently rubbed the tom's neck, trying to wake him up. Mothdapple's glassy eyes opened, pupils hazily flicking back and forth. Blood has turned his golden fur ginger. Pricklepaw doubled back and handed the wet moss to the warrior, placing it by his muzzle. "Can you drink the water from the moss?" Pricklepaw asked quickly, legs trembling. Mothdapple opened his jaws to drink the water but his stomach gurgled and blood spurted out. Pricklepaw let out a cry of panic and rushed into the battle. "Nightglisten! Mooneyes! Someone! Mothdapple needs help!"

Blackdawn's ears shot up when she heard her apprentices cry. The she-cat glanced at the medicine before taking off, following the apprentices shout. He stomach wrenched when she saw the Mothdapple. The she-cat shuffled her feet, trying not to looked panicked. Either medicine cat might not be able to help him now. It was probably best not to move him. "Pricklepaw..." The warrior started. She didn't know what to say. She couldn't help him and medicine cats were scrambling to take care of others.

Dad?" No response. Pricklepaw lowered his muzzle and repeated himself a little louder. Still nothing. Pricklepaw let out a cry of anguish and lowered his muzzle to his father's fur.

Blackdawn closed her eyes, looking away as she heard Pricklepaw's cry and knew Mothdapple was gone. The warrior stalked forward slowly. "I'm sorry Pricklepaw." She said quietly. The sound of battling cats still raged around them and she knew they couldn't linger; however, she couldn't bare to take the apprentice away.
