Erminetail had decided to venture into the forest in search of something warm to line his nest. He eventually came across a bed of moss at the base of a tree, conveniently sheltered from any snowfall. He placed his paw down and was pleased to find that it was dry so began to tear away at it.

Heathernose waited to see if Smallnose would catch the fish that she was trying to get, and when she did, she would grin. "Nice catch!" she complimented. "So, you were saying something about it getting cold. Do you want to go fish somewhere else?"

RP:She nodded quickly and went to the pool before leaning down to take a sip from its depths, and before she had time to lay her head on her paws she felt the pull from star clan to commune. As always she first saw her mothers stary form, the dark warrior with glistening stars in her stormy grey fur making her look like a storm on the horizon. "Mom!" She called running up to her mother nuzzling close to her receiving a lick on her forehead.
"My you've grown my girl, so beautiful..." Night gaze said looking at her daughter, something was wrong and she tried not to reveal it so soon. "Where is your mentor?" She asked looking around for the outsider, he was the only one without an ancestor here in the hunting grounds.

( Hi guys! Once again focusing on other things today. I don't feel like rping for long lately haha need to draw, but I'll still come on and warn if I won't be here. ^u^ Also Koi, we sort-of formulated the prophecy vision for them to have, should I go back and repost it or just describe it when they go to sleep and both have the vision? ) Nightglisten watched her apprentice as she spoke, his fluff tail curling and twitching around his paws. Perhaps because he still had sight, but, despite a sense of presence, he could not scent or sense the starry felines as well as her. Or, perhaps, it is because these are not quite my stars... He reasoned in his mind. "If something seems wrong, then the faster we should meet with them." Nightglisten responded quietly as he lay down beside the pool, touching his nose to it's waters. Crowpaw grinned at his mentor's praise, dipping his head in thanks, then focused on the tidepool he's chosen, eyes widening as he examined different, odd looking sea creatures creeping about in it's depths. They weren't actually very deep, but the creatures within he always thought kind of odd looking. He had to resist poking at the more dangerous types and focused on any small, harmless fish that would pass. Smallnose nodded. "Let's. Though it's getting a bit cold, we should-" She paused as her eyes suddenly darted towards the water spotting a fish nearing her. Giving a silent nod to Heathernose so she knew the interruption was because of nothing to dire, the she-cat wiggled her haunches a bit in anticipation, finally striking out and flicking it onto the shore, slamming a paw on it to secure it and sinking her teeth into the fish as soon as he could. "Ocean. Sounds a bit warmer there, I hope, so long as we don't actually go swimming today." Shiverpaw said with a nod, smiling just a bit. Foxpaw nodded- he suddenly noticed how could his paws where, but he had been lost in his thoughts about where his father may be. "Probably the best idea, or my paws will turn to ice out here!" He replied with a smile. (You can describe it when they're both asleep Rain.) Honeypaw smiled and lead the way back to the apprentice's den. |

"Thanks!" Smallnose replied, loosening her grip on it and she felt it go still. "I was just going to say we should catch a few more, if possible... but leave soon, it's best not to fish out in this weather too long. We can try some forest hunting if you wish. I'm trying to perfect my bird catching."
Nightglisten appeared beside Moonpaw, seeming to walk out of thin air to stand besides the smaller cat. As he approached his tail waved in a friendly heir, and, although his expression was a serious-if no more so grave- as always, he dipped his head in a polite and respectful greeting to Nightgaze. "I am here, of course." He responded. "And, while it is nice to visit you again, I'm we should get straight to the point. Is there any message for us?"
Shiverpaw responded with a nod. "I heard that Honeypaw, Foxpaw and Crowpaw where exploring the tunnels into the sea caverns." Shiverpaw suggested. "Maybe we could take a look around that?"
( Also I have Sparrowtail open to rp with she is forever alone haha. cx )

Sparrowtail had gone for a short hunt and returned with a small mouse, hurrying into camp, looking a bit chilly and wanting to curl up in a warm nest for a bit.
Foxpaw followed after her, shivering as a cold gust one wind blew past. He quickly scampered into the den and curled up after a stretch, covering his face with his tail.

RP:"Nightglisten..." She greeted softly, "I will not be the one giving you the message... Raven step is by the stream..." She stood and gave them both a lick on the cheek, "Be safe in the coming times my daughter guard your heart. I will speak with you soon." She said before bounding away.
Looking at her mother she sighed, "Are you ready?" She asked, the sadness ebbing into her voice. She shook herself and started towards the stream.

( Hi ｒｏｓｅ , I have Sparrowtail open if you want to rp with her. c: Also Ok Cardinal! cx Here we go then! ) Nightglisten gave the she-cat a friendly nod as she hurried away, then looked to his apprentice, his long fur blown by the StarClan breeze, something he always found a bit odd. He did not reply but simply began walking towards the stream, eyes narrowed as he hurried to meet with Ravenstep. As they approached, Ravenstep sat hunched over the water, looking very still. Nightglisten slowed down as they neared, and the fluffy tom felt the sense of foreboding come back strongly again, as it had at the toms' death. "Ravenstep, you have a warning for us?" Ravenstep sat up, looking towards the two as they neared. Oddly enough, despite being in StarClan, the wound on his neck and sides from his death where there, and not cleared away- except they where shining white instead of bloody, like old, glowing scars mingled with stars. "I'm afraid so... Come and look into the stream." The tom said, worry in his eyes. "Tell me what you see..." - - - Foxpaw purred and boped her on the nose playfully. "No! My shelter!" |

( Card against Humanity Sure! c: ) As the two medicine cats look in, the waters seem to swirl, an image of a swampland appeared, dark and foggy, and the sound of whispers coming closer. Nightglisten's fur bristled, not recognizing the location, but finding it ominous all the same. As they watched, out of the fog came badgers, walking through the muddy swamp, fangs bared as they came, growling and snarling. However, something was darting in their midst, something thinner and nimbler. The vision seemed to focus and the dark silhouette of a cat was made clear, hidden among the badger's, eyes shining as it suddenly stopped to stare up at the two medicine cats. Nightglisten tried to make out who it was, but just as it seemed to clear the muddy bog seemed to reach out, pulling the mysterious cat under as it hissed, the murky water soon covering it leaving only its' sharp white fangs in view. As the vision progressed, the stream waters rose, soon lapping at their paws. The vision, however, suddenly was covered as Ravenstep splashed a paw over it, leaving the water to swirl and for it to slowly vanish. |
