"Wildmist and I patched it up." Tawnyhaze said simply, nodding at the incoming patrol. Snowpaw looked at the den. "Batscreech will probably still complain." She pointed out. Blackdawn gave a chuckle, but Tawnyhaze was less amused. Icefire shrugged. "Well, it looks great. Nice job." |

Timberrstone nodded curtly and laid his tail on her back. He wasn't good at comforting cats.

Emberspark froze at the comfort but then kept walking next to him. "So, you said you were in a mood today. What's wrong?"

Tawnyhaze gave a small nod at her compliment before looking at Blackdawn.
"How did the border patrol go?" He asked. Snowpaw looked away.
"Apparently she already knew the boundaries, she just didn't feel like paying attention." Blackdawn said in an even and smooth tone. Tawnyhaze shot Snowpaw a look, but the apprentice was already walking away.

Icefire walked away as the two siblings started to speak.
Owlpaw noticed Snowpaw walking away. "Hey, Snowpaw!" He called out.

"What's so wrong with being deputy? You're just in charge of tons of cats if something ever happens to Harestar." She replied sarcastically, hoping that would cheer him up a bit in her own Emberspark way.

Owlpaw sighed. "My mom has been scared of water since the flood. She's worried I'll drown."
Emberspark smiled. Along with Harestar, Timberstone was starting to feel like one of the very few cats she could be comfortable around.

(here) Ruewhisker had returned from the Tide Pools and was now laying down by the warriors den, frustratedly trying to break open a large clam with her teeth. The tip of her tail twitched in slight irritation. Mudfang walked towards her. "Do you need help?" He asked smugly. |

Emberspark was caught off guard. "What? Well, okay!" She knew the sand would weigh heavy on their paws so she was interested in seeing where it would go.
Owlpaw rolled his eyes. "That's the point, I do know how to swim."

Timberstone grinned and took off running, his paws throwing up sand as they took off. He tried to stay at the edge of the water, where the sand was firmer and wouldn't catch him as much

Emberspark grunted as her paws sank a bit, even in the wet sand. She tried leaping to catch up to the deputy.

Ruewhisker jumped at the sound of Mudfang’s voice. She stared at the tom in silence for a few moments, as if she was trying to figure him out and then slowly slid the clam shell over to him.
“Good luck. I wonder if there's any cat could open this thing” she meowed, meaning for it to not sound as cold as it did.

Mudfang was initially taken aback by her coolness but was later relieved. He didn't need to pretend to be nice like with the rest of the Clan. Mudfang took a look at the clam and quickly opened it up with his long claws. "Here," he told her in a cool sultry tone.
