His tail twitched as he spotted a small fish, he watched it circle around in the pool, paw twitching to snatch it out. "You'll be able to leave camp again soon though, right? And then you'll have both," he swiped it in, scooping the fish out to flop on the ground. "I'd consider that pretty lucky."

Pricklepear prodded the small fish, making sure it had died before he buried it to gather later. "And if you decide you miss the nursery that much, you can always have more." He wrinkled his nose a bit, still putt off at the thought of staying in camp. Sure, he wasn't as close to any of the other cats as he wanted to be, but he enjoyed exploring the territory and providing for his clan at the same time. "Although if I were you I wouldn't."

Pricklepear nodded. "Sometimes I wonder if my father felt similarly about me." He glanced over at the other pools and gestured over to them with his tail. "Wanna move on?"

Pricklepear noticed her hesitation, but decided against asking about it. He rationed that if she wanted to share something, she would share it. He padded over closer to the ocean, glancing through the clear pools for more prey. He spotted a few more small fish, and began poking around to try and find a clam. "Do they swim yet?"

"They have to learn at some point," he remarked before noticing her stepping away. "Is something wrong?" His hackles raised in alarm and he glanced around them to try and spot the danger.

He kneaded the ground, starting to feel guilty for dragging her all the way out here if she was nervous about the water. "That must have been rough, I'm glad you both made it through."

Pricklepear felt another pang of guilt flow through him for not being there, and he turned his attention back towards the pool. "Then they'll help you through this too," he reasoned.

((It was basically that after the badger fight and earning his warrior name he went back to the two legs because he felt a bit out of place without his father. Then he decided it wasn't for him and came back))
Pricklepear gave a small smile, "That's still up for debate." His tail twitched as he struck out at the pool again, this time missing the small fish.

Boldpaw blinked open his eyes against the light that filtered through into the medicine den. He had been taking a nap in his nest to try and pass time. Boldpaw sighed before sinking deeper into his nest. All he wanted was to continue his apprentice training but his injury made it impossible.
