Fernbreeze had pulled herself onto the log, and reached a paw for teh nearest rock. "It's not that far, you can handle it." She reasoned, pulling herself up and over, and landing on the rocks with a snort. It was a bit slippery and she almost fell, but she sat upright and looked back at him, safe. "If you need a paw though I've gotcha." |

Sootpaw noticing the rising water darted to the closest and highest he could go.Running till the water risen enough,he had to swim.He,a fresh new apprentice, barely made to a rock and climbing onto wasn't any better.He was getting weary,but was determined to make up.Pushing himself up with last, he got onto panting.He gathered himself and shock his head."That was terrible." He thought."I need to starting training." He shook his pelt to get the water off so wouldn't get cold and glanced around him hoping everyone would be okay."We are Oakclan,we will prevail." It was comforting thought as he stared at the flood below.

( Lilymew Welcome to OakClan. ) Crowwhisper noticed Sootpaw in the water from where he sat on higher ground, and began to hurry over to help, before the small apprentice managed to get over himself. He let out a sigh of relief and slowed his pace, reverting his keen blue eyes back onto the swirling waters. |

He heard the splashing,he quickly looked up to see crowwhisper. Oh who he was jealousy of his status and name,so much better than paw. Buying past the moment of envy,he realized crowhisper must of seen him struggling and got worry. "I can handle myself-" He stopped the thought for it wasn't true.He looked down, pelt bristling as many more thoughts come into his head,after moment or so. He points his glazed back to Crowwhisper and flicks high to get his attention.

Pumpkinstripe's eyes darted around the swirling gray waters, searching for any cat that may need his help. Although his thick pelt didn't help him to be a strong swimmer, he wouldn't hesitate to jump in if he thought it would help any of his clanmates.

Crowwhisper kept his blue eyes fixed on the water, before turning his gaze to the apprentice who sat on the rocky ledge not far from where he himself was. He'd seen him make a motion to him form the corner of his eye, and gave the young cat a questioning look as he headed over, having too partially walk-partially swim there. The water had already risen a bit more, but he didn't panic; the rain and wind was subsiding. It wouldn't get any higher, and he shook out his pelt as he came to stand next to the apprentice, cocking his head to one side in a questioning look.

Fernbreeze stood by, looking tense, as if prepared to dive for the elder if he slipped and fell. She steadily relaxed however as he reassured her he was alright, and let out a small hiss as a crackle of thunder sounded in the sky. She sat bolt upright and tried to look beyond the camp, her expression grim. "... Those journeying cats." She muttered. "And we're one medicine cat down... I only hope they're safe!" She muttered, a chill going through her as the wind battered her wet fur.

Sootpaw was worried as he looked at crowwhisper,wondering if everyone was okay. Especially the queens and kits. He turn his head over to nursery and looked back at him.Growing antsy he looked as if like was going to jump into water again to check.Even if it was a mousebrain decision,he would take the risk.

Fernbreeze looked up, her eyes wide and bright in the dim light. "Duskfeather!" She said, and nodded quickly. "I'm fine, as is Pebbleclaw so far." She looked down at the camp in winced as she said this, seeing parts of dens and branches being swept away. "... Can't say the same for our camp, it'll take forever to fix it." She added grimly, her eyes darkening with sadness.

Crowwhiser noticed the move and quickly moved closer to the apprentice, stopping him with a flick of his tail and a hasty shake of his head. He'd seen his eyes alighting on what was visible of the nursery, yet he knew he'd seen all the queens evacuate, kits included.

Sootpaw signed returning to his position on rock.The situation felt awkward but he tried to keep himself calm.Lowered his head ,he closed eyes to think. Pondering his next move and what will happened after the flood has subsided."A head count and checking of everyone for injured will be top priority." He nodded to himself in his little trance "Clearing out leftovers from the flood and rebuilding the camp will be second." He could only guess what will happen,but one thing is for sure he was be ready for it.

( You guys think we should timeskip a bit to when the storm's fully or mostly over? The flood will still be there though as I imagine that'll take awhile to dry up. XD IDK what to do at this point. )

( Yeah.  I always feel a bit bad when characters die in rp or writing. Also, you think we should start the Whiteraven ends up on CedarClan territory rp...? I wanted to wait for Cardinal as Bramblekit's with him, but I also want to rp it so he can meet CedarClan cats. ) Ravenheart sat back up as the rain's began to slow, his eyes tired as he stared about the camp. We have to gather these cats together... see if everyone's safe. The injured tom thought, getting to his feet and wincing as his leg hurt. - - - Quietwillow was under the water, struggling to get out as something had slammed against her. She resisted the urge to screech and instead focused on keeping her mouth shut and her limbs moving. Lionpaw dove under water for a minute, but came back up, gasping, a second later. "She'd not down there!" He called to the others. "She must've already left the nursery area, where could she be?!" Icepaw looked around, trying his best to keep his head above water as he did so, his eyes stinging as drops of water got into them. He thought he saw a faint splashing and gestured with a paw. "Over there, I thought I saw something splash!" |
