Smallnose nodded, but, realizing afterwards Mooneyes could not see the nod, quickly said. "Yes, we'll have to swim a tiny bit, but it's very close. Walk by me and I'll lead you." She said quickly, getting to her feet and heading back towards the water.

OCC:So what caused the flood a broken dam or something?
RP: Mooneyes pressed her fur to the warriors and stayed uncomfortably close though the blind cat was an extremely strong swimmer much stronger then others in the clan due to her therapy for those who have injured muscle and bones over the moons. "Thank you...." She said once their paws hit ground again.

( Hurricane? XD I'm not entirely sure, you'll have to ask Cardinal, but after earlier this year's research it wasn't that much but I was curious I did on flooding during Irma it sounds like storm surge. That's how I'm picturing it. They live close to the ocean. But if OakClans' location is sorta near or based off Seattle I don't think they get hurricanes, which I think is what the area is based off of sorta. I did look it up though and they can get floods, but it says between November, December to January. So I have no idea, but it came from rainfall and a storm flooding the rivers and lake from what I gather. Maybe the ocean too if wind was bad enough? )
Smallnose looked to her and nodded absentmindedly, leading her over to Ravenheart, so still sat in a slight daze. She poked his with a paw. "Hey, Ravenheart, Mooneyes if here." She said softly.
Ravenheart looked at Mooneyes, relieved to see she was alright, and began to sit up, but winced.

OCC:it could be from a nearby dam breaking, we had a old dam break and flood our property one year what was worse was it made the clay thick and caused animals to get stuck and starve some even drowned.
RP: Now she could smell the blood, being down she let the scent run through her mouth. "I need a thick leaf or cobwebs to stop the bleeding..." She said through her trembling, she was cold and though she had coughed up most of the water from where she was trying to save some herbs but got caught in her den taking in more water then air. Now she could feel the stress of it all weighing on her.

( Cardinal mentioned it was raining, hence the flood. It happened 'last year' in rp too, I'm guessing it's supposed to be seasonal. cx But that sounds horrifying. o: The dam breaking I mean, those poor animals.  ) "... I can search the trees?" Smallnose offered, but didn't look very hopeful. The rain had hit hard, and the trees likely had lost whatever webs they may have had, along with a few fallen branches. "I'll be fine." Ravenheart pointed out feebly, wondering if his leg was doomed to never be well again. |

Smallnose glanced between the two before nodding and heading off.
"Was I arguing?" Ravenheart said innocently, his tone slightly amused despite how hoarse and tired his voice sounded.

Fernbreeze started at the branch they floated on suddenly hit something. "Land ho." She whispered, looking up to see tehy're reached some higher rocks, and nudging the elder next to her to get him to wake up. |

"You alright?" Ravenheart asked as she began to cough.
Smallnose meanwhile was collecting leaves, as she found no cobweb. She did find a bit of moss, which was wet, of course, and she carried these all over to Mooneyes.

"Yes." Fernbreeze snapped. "Look, I'll help you... unless you rather wait here until the water dries up. If so, be my guest." She sounded annoyed, unlike her usually more calm self, but she didn't want to leave the elder alone here in the water, and she didn't want to stay here either.

RP: Yea I took in some water trying to save some of my herbs..." She said wiping her paw over her jaw, "Oh thank you Smallnose." She reached out with her other paw touching the moss then she bent down and picked up the leaves, carefully she placed the leave on the wound and pressed on it carefully. Her shivering made it a little difficult but she managed to stop the bleeding.

Ravenheart flinched as he leg stung, but remained quiet, not wanting to seem weak. Smallnose sat by and watched, feeling a bit faint, and not wanting to go anywhere else. She honestly thought she could fall asleep there despite all the drama and turmoil of that night.

"You'll be alright?" Ravenheart asked with concern. He recalled Nightglisten had left, and wondered how she was coping, now that it was just her and Pinepaw as medicine cats.
Smallnose got back to her paws after sitting for just a few minutes. "I'll rest when I know everyone's safe." She snapped, walking past Mooneyes and forcing herself to stay alert. She hadn't slept well, but she was still not that unable to do anything. "The rain's letting up, we need to check and make sure everyone got to safety!"

"That's a good boyo." Fernbreeze said smugly, purring as she moved to scramble farther up the branch they clung top, careful not to roll it so they both fell off into the now deep water. "Careful not to slip, but I think we are actually somewhat secure." She added, looking to see their branch was actually caught between two rocks. "There, look."

Hawkfeather padded over to Gingerfoot, "Are you okay?" HE asked his lower half was covered.
Brairthorn stood by Snowbird licking her fur as he shivered slightly. (Good morning.) Gingerfoot was shaking and her pelt was filthy. She leaned on Hawkfeather, clearly exhausted. "I'm alright," she managed after a moment of panting. "Are you okay?" |
