Owlwhisker came back from a night hunt with a few squirrels in his jaws. He dropped the prey and scoured the pile to pick his choice.

Juniperbreeze sat in the middle of camp, looking up at the stars. Her tail flicked with worry and her mouth moved with words too softly spoken to be heard. She was worried for not only her clanmates out on the journey, but also for the cats they were meant to find. What sort of trouble did a group of cats have to get into for Starclan to send her clanmates to help?

Batscreech looked up from his nest and nodded to Pebbleclaw as the tom entered the den. "How's the weather out there Pebbleclaw?" he asked Pebbleclaw flicked his gaze over to Batscreech and shrugged his shoulders. “Well enough. It’s newleaf after all.” He said before taking a bite of his prey. “What do you think about this journey? I can’t believe StarClan just decided to send a bunch of cats...” He added. |

Owlwhisker was about to choose a mouse, when he looked up and noticed Juniperbreeze worriedly talking to herself. He picked up a rabbit and walked over to her. "Want to share?"

It got steadily darker as Kestrelpaw led the two along. He could almost scent the border now, and looked back, hoping no one followed.

Wolfshadow was standing guard when he heard thunder crack and a rain start to pour. It was a few moments later that he heard water rumble and saw the waves reach camp. “FLOOD!” he yelled, running back to camp.

( Cardinal, is Wildmist still going to send Meltedpaw back and go with Kestrelpaw? Maybe we can say it's a bit before the flood and rp it out, but... out of the time loop then catch them up? XD )
Foxtail was asleep in the warrior's den, when Wolfsahdow's voice rang across the camp. He awoke with a start, his fur fluffing out as he made out the sound of rushing water and understood Wolfshadow's words, but he found the fear momentarily froze him. Crowwhisper however, who was not so afraid of water, whacked him across the head, startling him into action and looking around for where Honeydew was.
Smallear's pelt bristled as she took up the cry of. "Flood!" And dove for the nursery to help the kits and fetch the queens out.
Fernbreeze meanwhile awoke the apprentices still sleeping, herding a very confused and groggy Icepaw and Lionpaw outside and towards higher ground.

Lionpaw noticed in his confused haze that Ferndapple was in the center of camp, unmoving as water flooded in around her. His eyes went wide and he tore away from Ferndapple, who tried to call her foster grandson back. However he quickly splashed towards her and nudged her. "Come'on! You'll drown!" He squeaked, his voice unnaturally high.

Ravenheart hissed as the water steadily rose around him, and looked around hurriedly, trying to see if anyone needed help.

Quietwillow went for Whiteraven's nest, waking her son and hurrying with him toward the apprentice's den, to make sure all her kits where getting to higher ground safely.

Lionpaw hurried alongside her, soon reaching Fernbreeze, who cried out to them over the sound of the rain and wind. "Hide in the foxholes and in the oaks above camp!" She shouted. "I need to go and help the elder, now move and hurry!" With that she ran off, towards Pebbleclaw.
Lionpaw obeyed and headed for the tallest tree above the leader's den, Icepaw following hurriedly. There was a hollow nearer to the top and he shouted. "We'll climb up and shelter in the hollow!" Before jumping for the tree to climb.

Fear pulsed through Boldpaw as he swiftly began to climb the tree. "Flurrypaw, hurry!" the tom called as he looked down, noticing his sister was still on the ground staring towards the nursery.
"Gingerspots will need help with the kits!" Flurrypaw called over the crashing of the water. "I have to help them!" the silver she-cat said as she turned away.

Icepaw clambered up the tree, looking down at Boldpaw, who was climbing near him. "Flurrypaw!" He shouted loud as he could, even though she was already turning to head away.
Lionpaw meanwhile reached the top first, scrambling into the hollow, and poking his head back out to see the other coming up. He was shaking all over with cold and fear as he reached to help Icepaw up next to him, then back up to make room for the others.

"We're near to the trees, I'll stick with you until we're safe, alright?" Fernbreeze snapped.

Quietwillow spotted Flurrypaw and moved to block her daughter. "Flurrypaw! Follow your siblings up the tree, I'll go back and help with the kits!" She ordered, while Whiteraven headed for the nursery as well.

Flurrypaw went to protest but quickly stopped herself. She was small herself being no bigger than some of the kits there was probably little she could do. She slowly nodded before reluctantly beginning to climb the tree with her siblings.

Quietwillow watched as Flurrypaw began to climb, before darting for the nursery, the water now almost to her chest as she half ran, half swam towards it.
