Now that Juniperpaw noticed he was there, Mudfang tried grabbing her scruff again to lift her up. I better get the best fresh kill for this...With Mudfang's help, juniperpaw was able to grab a low branch on the tree and haul herself up. She collapsed onto it, gasping for breath |

(Ahh man, sorry for missing so much! I've been getting a ton of headaches over the last few days so I had to try and avoid my laptop e__e)
Badgerpaw was crouching on a skinny branch, her fur was slicked back by the overwhelming amount of rain and her eyes were tightly shut in fear. She decided to stay as still as possible in the hope that it would all be over soon.

"I'm going to carry you up the tree," he instructed, grabbing her again and starting to climb up. |

Juniperpaw tried to help him by grabbing branches and pulling herself up a little with her weakened limbs. She was grateful for the help and hoped she wasn't burdening the tom

Now since hours had passed since the flood began, the water was slowly lowering as it moved downhill, past the camp. Emberspark told the elders to stay where they were above the gorse hill as she checked to see how much of the floor of the camp had been ruined. |

Harestar jumped down into the clearing after checking on all the cats taking shelter. He padded over to Mudfang. "Thank you for rescuing Juniperpaw. You are a true warrior, and I believe many cats of this Clan were wrong about you, including me. I am sorry," he told the large brown tom, bowing his head in apology. Mudfang shrugged. "It's no big deal." he said with a smirk. Emberspark padded over to Timberstone. "Do you need any help?" she asked him. |

Timberstone cast a glare a Mudfang. He still didn't trust the tom. He nodded to Emberspark. "Let's get the apprentices down to help rebuild some of these dens. The elders, warriors and apprentice dens are all torn up. The nursery is flooded, it'll be a while before it dries so let's build a small temporary den for Burntember,"

Owlpaw padded down the tree branches to help out. Honeypaw still didn't feel brave enough to walk down yet.
Emberspark looked at the damage. "Would you like to collect some reinforcements with me?" she asked Timberstone.

"Sure," Timberstone said with a shrug. Anything to keep from being around what's his name he thought bitterly.
(I've never been good at playing gruff characters but I'm loving Timberstone!! I made him recently as a kit but haven't gotten to play him and then I added him to another rp as an adult but haven't rped him much and then added him hereand he just sort of blossomed by himself lol)

Badgerpaw slowly and rather clumsily scaled back down the tree, she lost her grip just before reaching the ground and gracelessly landed on her haunches. She jumped to her paws as fast as she could, hoping to Starclan that no one had noticed. As she padded over toward Emberspark she noticed the small body of a vole which was from the freshkill pile, only now it looked as if it was soaked down to the bone. She picked up the vole on her jaws and winced at how cold and sodden it felt.
"I thought maybe...The Elders...Or Burntember or maybe even Juniperpaw" Badgerpaw dropped the vole by Emberspark and shifted her paws, suddenly realising how pitiful and unappealing the soaking piece of freshfill was.

(I think you're doing a great job! But same here Emberspark is one of my more difficult ones to rp just because she's very stand offish, but I think I'm figuring it out!)

Emberspark nodded, feeling thankful but didn't want to let it show. "Yeah, okay." she muttered, slinking away from his touch. "That moss over there may be decent to sop up the water," she suggested to him.
(It'll be interesting to see how he'll interact with her once he sees how evil an outsider like Mudfang is! They were both loners after Mudfang and Sandpebble left the kittypet life.)

The young apprentice purred and nodded to Timberstone and Emberspark then trotted towards the tree that Juniperpaw was in, the vole hanging from between her teeth.
"Hey Juniperpaw! I know it looks pretty bad but I found this vole and thought you might be hungry" She flicked her tail "I saw it earlier on the fresh kill pile and I'm amazed it didn't get washed away!"

(why would he treat her different? I mean, yea she was an outsider at one point but he trained her for the end of her apprenticeship and she's been in camp for a while. Well.. I guess I could maybe see him being afraid to trust her for a bit or maybe getting into a big argument with her depending on how close they are and where their friendship goes and whatnot)
"Yea, that could work," Timberstone mewed, "depending on how wet it is. It may have flooded here as well."
