Juniperpaw kicked out at Mudfang, not realizing who he was. In doing so, she pushed herself farther under and got her paw stuck under a root. It twisted painfully and she yelped, causing her to inhale water.

Mudfang winced at the kick and rose up once more. Why does everyone make my plans so hard? he growled to himself. He dove underwater once more and started to dig the root out, slowly making it snap.

Juniperpaw's wide, fear-filled eyes met Mudfangs'. She pushed off the ground and gasped as her head broke the surface of the water. She scrambled for a low branch of something to hold but the water dragged her back and her twisted paw hurt.

Now that Juniperpaw noticed he was there, Mudfang tried grabbing her scruff again to lift her up. I better get the best fresh kill for this...

Duskfeather resurfaced, gasping for air. Her pelt was plastered to her small body, making her fur appear midnight. "Wolfsha-" she cried, cut off as a wave splashed over her.

Wolfshadow briefly spotted what he believed to be Duskfeather's pelt, so he frantically swam over. "Duskfeather!" he yelled once more before diving down, hoping to find her.

She finally found the ground and pushed off, sputtering as she blinked her eyes clear of the dirty water. "Are you okay?" She gasped, eyes locking on Wolfshadow's in the turmoil.

Overwhelmed and utterly grateful, she splashed over to him, waves tugging insistently at her fur. She was shaking, yet relieved that the black-and-white tom was okay.

Gratitude battled the fear in her eyes, and she hoped to convey her gratefulness to the tom. "T-thank you." Her voice threatened to crack. "Wolfshadow... stay safe. I don't know what I'd do without you." Without another word, she leaned toward him and gave him a quick lick on his cheek.

Pumpkinstripe used his long legs to his advantage, springing up into a tree. His eyes frantically searched the rough waters for traces of any clanmates who still needed help.

Wolfshadow's pelt shook with happiness. "I'll follow you," he told her, before scanning the area. He didn't see any other cats, as Juniperpaw and Mudfang were still under the dark water at the time. "You need someone to keep you warm. I don't want you to get green cough," he ordered.

Wildmist helped her brother Ravenstep climb up before searching for her younger sister. "Has anyone seen Honeypaw?" she asked the foxhole.

Duskfeather exhaled, relieved, heart still pounding as she pressed her damp pelt against Wolfshadow's. "Thank Starclan." She murmured.
Pumpkinstripe overheard Wildmist in the tree next to him. "Honeypaw is still missing?" He demanded, worry in his eyes. Once again his gaze searched the water, looking desperately for a trace of her golden pelt.

(Hmmm.. Why not? I'll have Honeypaw in the water. It'll give me a chance to rp as Wildmist and I haven't really rped her yet.)
Honeypaw's golden paw hit the surface as she flailed underneath. Wildmist gasped. "There!"
Wolfshadow purred and climbed up the foxhole. "No one has found this one yet. It'll give you space to keep warm." he said optimistically. He let her lay down first before he pressed his pelt close to hers. Even though he was drenched he hoped somehow it'll keep her warm.

Duskfeather huddled against him, sodden. She shivered but was unexplainably grateful for his warmth and comfort. "When I saw the water, I- I just froze." Her eyes were wide and she looked down in front of her forepaws.
Without hesitation, Pumpkinstripe launched himself into the turmoil, leaping as close to his apprentice as he could muster. He dove under the surface, but he could barely see anything due to the mud and dirt that had mixed within the water.

Wolfshadow gently groomed her fur in the opposite direction for warmth. "It's okay. You're safe now." He replied in between licks.

(Yeah I had Wildmist on another Clan but Icefire kinda has her personality that she had. I added her on here because I still love her name so I had to change her personality a bit, so I'm still working her out. )

Duskfeather numbly began to share tongues with him, hoping he felt better than she did. He sounded as if he was alright, but he she-cat wondered if he was acting strong for her sake. "Will Icefire be okay?" She whispered, concern for her own sibling Pumpkinstripe working its way into her mind.

Pumpkinstripe felt relief hit him as his apprentice did. He grabbed her scruff in his strong jaws and began to kick towards the trees, struggling to keep both their heads above water.
