"You seem to be doing very well with the clan... so I can't advise you to do more. They'll just have to come around." He said with a smile. "Now don't worry about it! I don't want to see anybody crying anymore, alright?" He said, however his smile almost looked forced. The conversation recalled to mind his friendship and love for Lilactail. She'd always been so nervous and sad after her relatives' deaths, and even before then she's been rather shy and easily frightened. He used to spend hours just talking her, trying to make her smile or laugh. She probably won't forgive me this time for leaving. |

Sandpebble sniffled and nodded. She noticed his forced smile and tilted her head, eyes lightening with concern. "Are you ok?" she asked the tom.

"Me?" He asked, sounding a bit surprised and frowning. "Oh, I'm never not fine. I'm good." He lied briskly with a smile. In a general sense, he tended to always act as if things were fine, which either pleased or annoyed others, but in reality he did care about things. He just didn't think pessimism and giving into sadness got them anywhere.

мαρℓєиσѕє Cardinal won't be back for a bit because of school. If you'd like, I can take over her character temporarily so you can still rp the two. and when/if she comes back, they can have the kits. If she doesn't come back for a long time then I'll make a temporary kit and she can either keep it or change it when/if she comes back)

Ashtail nodded, thinking it sounded reasonable. He looked around at the ocean, before looking back at her. "You planning on hunting or should we head on to camp? The patrol I was with is probably there by now..." He muttered with a sigh.

"Well, I'm a bit tired to be honest." He said with a slight chuckle. 'But I did want to investigate some territory higher up than here... you know when me and Nutmeg first arrived? That forest that's not claimed?" He had seen a few pine trees and mountains in the distance. They were the mountains that blocked him from his old home, and he liked the idea of being near them and the pines again.

Burntember smiled and pressed her side against his to snuggle into his warm fur.
Sunkit shrugged. "she just seems to have a personality like mine," she mewed (also she's the first cat my rper came across who doesn't have an apprentice xD)
