“You seem to have a skill for finding things Sunkit!” Boldkit purred before looking down at his own rock. It looked like your usual ordinary rock in comparison. I wonder what my hidden skill is, the small tom puffed out his chest. “I can’t wait to become a warrior” he blurted out.

"How did you end up catching a toad?" Erminetail laughed although his eyes were wide with interest. "I've never had the pleasure of eating a toad before" he admitted.

( Hey guys.  ) "Oh, why not?" Fernbreeze replied, smiling politely, and sniffing the squirrel. "It looks really tasty! You can have the first bite, however, it was your catch." - - - Shiverpelt turned to face her friend, blinking slowly as Featherbreeze waved her over. With a sigh and a few mumbled words of 'well might as well' or something similar, she trudged over. "Hello, Featherbreee." She greeted stiffly, sitting down as her tail flicked to curl around her paws. "... Anything you want in particular or... is this just an invitation to idly chat with you. I suppose I have... nothing else better to do anyways, so be it..." |

Riversong nodded his head, having regained most of his breath. “Next time you should go out with some of the younger, faster cats... I wasn’t built for running.” He said with a chuckle. ( This was my reply.  ) Crowwhisper nodded, eyes sparkling with amusement as Kestrel burst out laughing and jumped back to his feet. "Maybe so! But your not doing too bad." Kestrel responded afterwards with a bright smile, and began to walk onward at a slower pace, as the beach was now only a few tail-lengths away. |

"I was practicing my pouncing and I was by a small pond. I saw something move and pounced on it. I killed it with my weight as I landed on it but if I'd known before what it was... I wouldn't have even gone after it.." Burntember said laughing

Boldkit purred, excitement rippling through his pelt. “We’re going to be great warriors aren’t we? Just like Ravenstep and Quietwillow!” he fluffed out his fur as he felt a jab of pride welling in his chest. Boldkit noticed that his other sister, Flurrykit, was lurking by the medicine den, completely oblivious to anything going on around her. “Flurrykit doesn’t seem to care about being a warrior at all” Boldkit sighed as he looked back at Sunkit. “All she wants to do is daydream but she can’t keep doing that when she is an apprentice” the fluffy white tom sounded genuinely concerned for his sister.

Lavender perked up when she heard the code word. "Mommy!" She squealed before racing over to Coralmoon. Lavender buries her nose in Coralmoon's fur "I thought I would never see you again!"

Featherbreeze frowned for a second, but quickly started smiling again. "I wanted to say hello to my friend! At least, last time I checked we were friends.." she said, mumbling the last part. She flicked her tail and thought for a moment. "Why don't we go to the ocean! It'll be fun! Or at least the tide pools." she mewed happily.

"How do you think the sea got it's salt?" Kestrel questioned in an ominous tone of voice, as they drew closer and closer, and soon found he was by the edge of one of the pools.

Fernbreeze took her share, chewing on it for awhile, her eyes closing as she enjoyed it, and letting out a short purr. After another bite and a silence, she asked, wiping a paw over her face. "So, how have you been faring lately, Gingerfoot? Especially now the clan is having a peaceful time of it."

Shiverpelt smiled at this, although she still had a certain tiredness and sad shine to her eyes. "I wouldn't say we were not friends..." She responded in an even tone, drawing a claw across the sand in a slow, distracted way. "I suppose that's better than anything..." She said, trailing off before properly finishing her words.

"Twolegs collect all sorts of things!" Kestrel responded. "My dad's twoleg's kit had a whole collection of tiny monsters! I think they were fake. They called them toys, like what they called stuff my kittypet sister plays with, which are fake little mice with catmint smell, so they're probably fake monsters if they are toys."

Crowwhisper nodded, poking his head over one of the pools, as well as poking it with a paw. Kestrel watched and sat down next to the bicolor tom. "Yes, very strange, but twolegs are weird." He answered. "So are these tidepools! What do you think it's like to be a fish? Or a shark? What does a shark look like anyways? Have you ever seen a shark?"
