( Ok.  ) Ashtail had separated from his hunting party earlier, annoyed by the loner's questions, and wanting some time alone. He padded towards the ocean, curious to see it as he always had been from the start, for in PineClan, the ocean was in TimberClan land, and beyond twolegplace besides. He quietly walked along the sands, letting his paws cool off as he walked close to the water and let the waves wash over them. |

Sandpebble ran until her paws splashed in the water. She slowed to a trot and finally stopped when the water was at her belly. Tears streaked the fur on her cheeks and she stared at her reflection angrily. You're not wanted here! Whiteraven's words echoed through her mind.

Ashtail padded along, slowly relaxing as he went, feeling more and more at ease. However he nearly jumped out of his fur when a splash sounded nearby, and he looked up, as he had previously been watching his paws sink into the water and sand as he walked. Noticing it was Sandpebble, he began to head over, not yet noticing she was crying. "Oh hey, Sandpebble! You surprised me it's so quiet here heh, I almost jumped outta my fur!" He greeted with a warm laugh. However as he neared her, he looked startled, noticing her tears and expression. "Wait, are you crying?!"

Sandpebble jumped as Ashtail began speaking. She hadn't realized anyone was nearby. "Oh.. um.. hey Ashtail.." she said. "Beautiful weather now that it's newleaf huh?' she asked, changing the subject

Kestrel ran on, laughing as he dodged trees. He eventually slowed, eyes bright as he sat down for a short rest, and waited for Crowwhisper and Riversong to catch up.

"It's nothing. I mean, I should be used to it I guess," Sandpebble said quietly. She glanced at Ashtail and knew he wouldn't accept that as an answer. "Um.. just some cats are still finding it hard to trust me after my brothers' actions last leaf-fall," she explained.

"Oh..." Ashtail responded, uncertain how to reply. "I guess I could understand why there may be problems... Back at my clan we had an apprentice who was half clan. He never knew his TimberClan father. I'm just sorry to say he was a bit distrusted, even by me, sometimes. Cats get bitter. It's... hard. But I'm sure they'll let it pass, you seem nice to me!"

(What has happened so far? I am so sorry for being inactive! School has been really tough and I just caught a bad cold and I can't really talk. So, if school gets easier, and I actually get over this cold, I will REALLY try to be more active.)

RP:Hawkfeather woke with a groan and looked around for ginger foot, though he was still upset she had gotten him to eat more and he had found in her a good friend. He was still hurt though and he doubted he would ever fully heal from Doeleap, but Gingerfoot was slowly helping him.

Galefoot thought things over as they drew closer to the house. He wanted Coralmoon to be safe but she did seem determined to find her kit. Once they were close enough, Galefoot lets out a sigh. "I decided I'll just keep watch by whatever opening we find."

Even if she could hear Erminetail's heart, Burntember's own heart was beating loud enough to mask it. She pulled away slowly, just in case he could feel her heart through her side as it was pressed against his. "So.. is there anything you want to do?" Erminetail stood in silence for a few heartbeats as he desperately tried to think of something to do. Slowly he began to pad into the water until the water brushed his belly fur. "How do you feel about swimming?" he asked, not wanting his time with spent with Burntember to end. |

Some cats aren't worth if if they persist bothering you about it, okay? Take comfort in the fact you did nothing wrong; your in the right, not them." Ashtail said reassuringly, smiling at her kindly.
