Before Honeydew could respond to Foxtail, Harestar approached the newcomers. "Hello. My name is Harestar, leader of OakClan. What leads you all here?" he asked, looking them each in the eyes.
"'Never said that?'" Wildmist repeated, turing around to face him. "So, you do feel the same way as I do or you don't?" She demanded.
"Which one would you like to name?" Emberspark looked towards the tortoiseshell she kit with the twisted paw, then turned her gaze to pale red and brown she kit.

( Ok! Here's a starter for Ravenheart then. Also I have no idea were the Sootfur, Haynose and Greyrobin is right now, I can look back though. ) Ravenheart had left the warriors den, settling not far off from Fernbreeze and Ashtail, and watching as Harestar confronted the strangers. Sure is busy lately! The tom thought, catching the mewling of the new kits from the nursery and sighing. - - - Sheep sat up straighter, smiling as Harestar neared. Owl and Rabbit did the same, while Kestrel backed away slightly, intimidated by the new stranger. "Oh! Don't you remember?" Sheep responded with a smile. "I'm Fox's sister, I stayed here for a few moons with him when Rabbit got injured in a fire." She poked a paw at Rabbit, who smiled in an uneasy manner. "We're looking for Fox and won't be staying long, just wondering how he is and when he's coming back... unless he joined?" "Why do you guys have weird names?" Kestrel questioned in his loud kitten voice, squinting up at Harestar, but Sheep covered his mouth and gave him an indignant look. - - - Nightglisten flicked his tail, annoyed by the conversation. He wasn't certain how to reply, and thought it over for a minute. "If you mean if I like you, then yes, I suppose I do." He responded a bit stiffly, though he sounded more confused than actually embarrassed. "But it doesn't change anything! The situation is still the same, I came as a warrior apprentice but opted to be a medicine cat. I've even told you why, some moons ago. It would be an inconvenience to the clan if I suddenly changed my mind." - - - "Aw... I guess." Lionkit said, looking at his paws. "It was fun though!" He added, quickly enthusiastic again. "Thanks! Do you think you'll be a warrior soon? Maybe you can mentor me!" - - - "Oh!" Foxtail said, looking over at them with new interest. "I think he left camp early to go hunting, but I'm not sure. He and Crowwhisper aren't in camp at any rate." |

Harestar looked uncharacteristically sheepish for a brief moment before smiling. "Oh yes, forgive me. I remember you now. We've had a rough few moons. Fox is out hunting with his son, Crowwhisper at the moment. You are welcome to wait here though." He chuckled as the young tom spoke. "We have 'weird' names because we are a Clan. It is the way of the code."
(Aw, does this mean that Wild and Night won't happen? Tear ;'( )
Wildmist sighed. "I understand. Really, I do. I wish it could be any other tom." She turned back around, feeling sleepy from the herbs. "Listen, I'll get over you, okay? I will." She said, trying to convince herself.
Honeydew grinned at Foxtail. "Let's go meet them!"

( I have no idea where Wild and Night are going. o': Like I said I want it to happen but I have to follow with Nightglisten's personality and he's... very practical and serious. c': Any ideas? Unless he talks it over with Harestar and Mooneyes is considered fit enough to take the whole role to herself/Fox or someone else opts to be an apprentice medicine cat?
Harestar looked sheepish while talking to Sheep. //Ba dum tss.// )
"What'sa code?" Kestrel asked, pushing his mother's paw away from his mouth defiantly.
"Hush!" Sheep scolded, patting her son on the head. "Ignore him... Yes if you don't mind us waiting to see him, that be nice. If we're in the way we can go hunting... outside the territory, I mean! Or here if you permit, we could help hunt for the clan? We are ever in your debt for helping Rabbit before."
Rabbit continued to grin awkwardly, while Owl stifled a laugh at the look on his face.

Nightglisten frowned, looking genuinely sad for a moment. He stood up and walked alongside her, giving her a serious look, trying to read what she was really thinking. After a brief silence, he suddenly continued. "There is something else however you should know." He added quickly, glancing out of the den and at Ashtail, who he could see not far off from the medicine den.

"Alright!" Foxtail responded excitedly, hurrying ahead towards the entrance, trying cautiously this time not to crash into anyone, and narrowly avoiding treading on the nearby Fernbreeze's tail.

Harestar nodded greatfully. "It would be a treat if you all hunted in our territory. Prey is plentiful this time of moon." He then looked serious. "Although I suppose I should tell you all about Sparrowtail, so Fox doesn't have to... she died, two moons ago, in a badger attack." He said sadly.
Wildmist turned to look at him. Her face showed an arrange of emotions, from tired to sad to in pain yet curious. "What is it?" She asked him.
(Maybe she could get an infection from her wounds and has another close call and after that Nightglisten just has an epiphany? Lol)
Honeydew was about to run before she suddenly became nervous to meet more of his family. She gingerly padded behind him.

FernpawFernpaw was relieved that Lionkit agreed to return back to camp. She turned and began to pad off in the direction of camp. She looked over at him and smiled a little. āIāll probably be a warrior a moon or so after you become an apprentice so I donāt think I can be your mentor...ā She admitted. āBut... uh.. weāll be able to go on patrols together then! And hunting.ā She promised. Riversong
Riversong nodded to Foxtail he padded back over to the group. He heard Harestar telling them about Sparrowtail and gave a small sigh. āAnd here I was thinking it would be best to let Fox tell them that...ā He muttered as he moved to sit with the group. (I kinda lost where Haynose/Sootfur/Greyrobin are... Also if you guys need a med cat apprentice, Iād be up for making a character to fit that! Unless Hawk wants it for Pinepaw of course ^^ )

RP:"Its one of the best sounds I've ever heard." Mooneyes said from behind the tom, "Kits are the future of this clan.... It is good for the warriors too. I caught Briarclaw playing with the kits as an apprentice when they're mothers needed fresh air and they were still too small to be outside the nursery.

( I was thinking Nightglisten might step down if he thought he was still distracted or incompetent? So maybe if he starts thinking too much over Wildmist's well being he might favor her above others and quit due to this, because medicine cats are supposed to view the whole clans as equal and such? cx Or if Ashtail being his brother might remind him of when he was a little angry warrior apprentice and make him regret his choice. So yeah infection could work though. Š²ŃŠ²Ń I know, I just think if Nightglisten steps down it would be easier for him to do so if he was certain Mooneyes was working her job well and had an apprentice too, so the clan is well cared for as ever with two cats. Also is Mooneyes still having a forbidden romance too or no? ) "Oh no!" Owl exclaimed, sounding surprised. Rabbit's grin quickly fell off his face, as he looked towards Sheep, and Sheep simply nodded, although she looked saddened as well. "Oh... Oh I'm sorry, we didn't know." She replied. "Is that why he didn't return? Is everyone else safe?" "Last night, Harestar called me out to meet someone, as you know, for Timberstone came here to get me." Nightglisten replied, looking back towards her. "... The cat is Ashtail. He says he comes from PineClan, the clan I was born into." - - - Foxtail stopped when he'd reached Harestar, dipping his head in respect to his leader. "Harestar! Er, mind if I talk to them?" He asked. |

"We had a few other deaths during the battle, but for the most part the Clan is doing well again. And yes, he wanted to be with his sons." Harestar turned around to see Foxtail and Honeydew. "Oh, yes you can. I'm sure you remember Foxtail back when he was Foxkit, and this is Honeydew."
Honeydew smiled nervously at the cats. "Hello." She said shyly.
Wildmist stood up in surprise a little bit quicker then she should have. "Rea- ow. Really?" She looked concerned. "Is your Clan okay? Do you know him?"

Ravenheart almost jumped when Mooneyes neared him and spoke, not noticing she was there. Noting it was her he smiled, nodding to her. "Mooneyes! Didn't see you there... and yes, it is, but it's certainly busy around here lately, isn't it?" He added cheerfully. He thought about visiting the kits, but figured the young family needed some space. After a lingering silence he added. "And how are you? We don't talk much."

(If it's okay I would love for Pinepaw to be a medicine cat apprentice. Would be interesting considering he doesn't know if Starclan is real or not. Heck maybe it takes him a while to realize it)

So many kits, and a never ending line of sick or injured.. though mostly just Ivyriver and Briarclaw they are always in the den though mostly since briar claw is a klutz and doesn't see where he is going. yesterday he slipped into the water and sliced his paw open though not as bad as it could have been." She smiled moving to stand beside him. "Though i haven't met you in my den, I take it you are taking care of yourself."
