🌳OakClan - The Resilient and Brave (ACTIVE members needed!)

Nightglisten opened his mouth to say something, but Whiteraven let out a low growl, his paws quivering in his anger and disbelief, as he forced his claws to remain dug in the sand, instead of lashing out at the loner cat. He glanced at Emberspark and Timberstone quickly. "Don't tell me you knew?" He asked, confused as to why this cat would be allowed here, before glaring down at Sable, his voice cold. "He's dead, and justly so, your Mudfang was a precious wonder; he killed my father, and caused the death of three cats besides! Who do you think you are, coming here with that.. that creature's child?!"

"I tried when I first became an apprentice." He said with a nervous laugh. "Hawkfeather and Timberstone took Crowwhisper and me fishing... er, it took awhile for some of my paw fur to grow back, the crab tried to attack me. We never caught it either, so it could be out there, waiting for me." He added ominously.

Sable nearly jumped out of her fur in disbelief. "I don't believe you!" She yelled. "Mudfang told me he was a loner... he never mentioned this group you cats are in! He was kind, h-he wouldn't do this!"

Honeydew tried remembering the event. "I don't remember you ever telling me about that before!" She glanced at his paws. "Well, they look perfectly fine to me now."

Haynose gave a small nod. He smiled a bit sheepishly. “I feel like we’ve been bombarding you with questions.” He chuckled, moving to sit down. “Do you have any for us?”

Fernpaw found it hard to say no. He is almost an apprentice... Would it be that terrible? She wondered, slowly persuading herself. Fernpaw gave a soft sigh of defeat. “Ok... But only for a little while....” She meowed. “We don’t want the whole clan to go into a panic if we give them enough time to realize you’re gone....”

Riversong felt a small twinge of guilt seeing how they all brightened at the sound of their brother being ok, especially when Owl mentioned Sparrowtail. He wished it was as simple as Fox just wanting to stay with his family. “I’m Riversong. It’s nice to meet you all.” He meowed with a small smile at the group. He looked down at Kestrel and chuckled. “Sometimes even the strongest cats need to be taken care of though.” He said before turning. He flicked his tail, motioning for the group to follow him.

"Well..." Grayrobin thought for a moment. "I'm not sure. But... what is StarClan like?" He asked, confused if they'd really know anything.

Lionkit beamed, jumping in his joy. "Alright, sweet! Can we visit the CedarClan border? Or the ocean? Whiteraven says it's HUGE like a giant salty lake!" He was nearly trembling in his joy. "What about twoleg place? How far away is that? I wanna see monsters and kittypets!"

"Likewise." Sheep said with a purr, dipping her head, and trying to keep her son in check, and he looked prepared to dash ahead again.

Kestrel responded by puffing out his chest. "Well I'M NOT afraid of anything! Even if I sometimes need help I won't fear anyone! I can take anything, you try me!" He stopped with a squeak as his mother patted him on the head to shush him.

"Silly you, it is not a dream!" Foxtail said jokingly. "If it is, then we are living the dream!" He added, giving her a quick nuzzle. Right afterwards Fernbreeze, who was sleeping at the other side of the den, let out a loud snore. "... The dream is ruined." He added in a quieter voice. "Her snoring might explain the rumbling avalanche sounds in my dream, heh."

Sootfur hesitated, wondering how she could respond. "StarClan is... where our ancestors live." She looked at Haynose. "How else would you describe it?"

(Sure! How about we act like it already happened until morning comes back, then we can continue it later.)

Honeydew giggled. "You still remember your dreams as a kit?"

Wildmist was still asleep on the medicine cat den. Remarkably, all the commotion that was happening outside didn't wake her up. She slept like a rock.

Haynose paused and looked to Sootfur as he tried to come up with a more detailed answer. He looked back over to Greyrobin. “Um.. well...They’re our ancestors and the cats we’ve lost... We look to them for guidance and wisdom.” He replied

Fernpaw felt a little over-whelmed as he suddenly bursted with questions. At the mention of two places with water, Fernpaw seemed to shrink slightly. “Uhm... Let’s walk towards the border near the two-leg place... We won’t go all the way so you probably won’t see any kittypets or rogues...” She meowed finally. She turned and began to walk on, her tail tip twitching anxiously.

Riversong looked down at Kestrel and shook his head slightly in amusement. He began to lead the way back towards the Oakclan camp. “Did you travel very far? Or do you live near here?” He asked the cats with curiosity.

Honeydew shook her head, exhasperated by his mind. "I'll make sure the next time we hunt to keep an eye on you and your prey." She decided.

Wildmist lifted her head up. "What's going on?" She asked groggily.-

"can you stop it?" Timberstone asked, eyes widening with worry.

Tawnyhaze nodded. He looked back the chaos that seemed to be going on in and around camp.
"What's happening?" He asked seriously, looking around.

( Ok gonna skip Nightglisten back then afterwards I'll continue him with Wildmist. cx )

Grayrobin tilted his head to the side, thinking. They pretty much gave him the information he'd already had, so, perhaps there was really little more to it. "Alright." He responded.

Lionkit bounded after her, having to slow himself down after a second, thinking twice about running ahead of her as he didn't know the way. Now walking beside her, he looked up at her, smiling brightly. After some silence he questioned. "Can I try hunting?"

"It's a few days back, but we often travel here, as I know a few cats down here, and there's a nice hunting spot not far from OakClan land." Sheep replied, stilling trying to keep Kestrel from running ahead as they walked.

"If you awake one day and find me gone, the crabs have probably taken me." He responded, stretching again and shaking his fur out. His mind cleared now from sleep, he recalled his thoughts of the night before, and frowned. "... I have to talk to Fox." He said after a brief silence. "Do you mind coming with me? I think he'll understand."

( @ Anyone who rps Quietwillow's kits up to you if they overheard Whiteraven shouting. Gonna say Icekit did. Quietwillow too, she'll be there in a minute. )

Nightglisten had followed Timberstone out, the bushy medicine cat looking more than annoyed right now. Whiteraven as well followed, only stopping as he noticed Icekit staring up at him with wide eyes. The cat had not yet gone after Ravenheart, and had listened in on what Whiteraven told Sable.

"A queen cannot simply stop when she's about to have kits, Timberstone." Nightglisten said a bit harshly. "Do you think you can make it back to the nursery?" He then asked Emberspark, thinking he'd probably have to bring whatever he needed over to her. The kits were a bit early, so she and them could be at risk.
