I've felt this way even when I first read BP. There's just something about her that always annoyed me, and I don't even know why.

It might be because she hostile toward Goosefeather for no real apparent reason, despite them being littermates.

I was always more "ehh" about her than anything else. Her character just wasn't around long enough for me to form a lasting impression of her.

I don't mind her, but I guess that's cause I don't like Goosefeather lol.

I don't like her for not thinking for herself, and following her leader in doing something she should have known was wrong
But more than I hate her I hate the 'leader's word is law' rule

I dislike her too because she's very rude to other cats that are not her kits (at least the ones that have a POV an meet her, mainly Goosefeather and Tallstar)

I dislike Moonflower because she honestly seems more like a plot device than an actual character. Of course, that can be said about most characters in warriors.

I thought her hatred for Goosefeather was explained? Wasn't it because he hated Stormtail, she chose him over her brother?

I thought her hatred for Goosefeather was explained? Wasn't it because he hated Stormtail, she chose him over her brother? But that wouldn't explain why she hated him. That explained or at least gave a little explanation for why Goosefeather hated Stormtail. She down right snapped at him most of the time in Bluestar's Prophecy. In Goosefeather's curse you learn she's just a jerk to her brother because he's soft-spoken and timid....And rightfully so sense he can see dead cats everywhere.

I'm surprised so many people dislike her. I always thought she was written to appear to be a classically sweet and caring mom and I liked her. Though, she does have a strained relationship with her brother and does not make the best choices in terms of mates or confrontation, she was a good mom.

I don't like her behavior towards Goosefeather and other cats . But , she was a good mother to Snowfur and Bluestar , which satisfied me . For me , she will be forever only a bland character .

honestly silverhawk or whatever that medicine cat's name was had every right to kill her, she was stealing herbs from his den which is pretty unacceptable and spiteful.

Hawkheart was his name he probably took it to far by killing her but I like Hawkheart he's very complex and I love complex charterers.
