I love the theatre, but I rarely go cause it's so expensive ;-; One of the English teachers at my school went all the way to New York just to see Hamilton on Broadway.
Honestly, the soundtrack is amazing. The lyrics are fantastic. 'Wait for it' (my signature) and 'Hurricane' (Tues's signature) are probably my favourites.

I know, they're all so good. Actually, I forgot to mention all the King George songs. They're also some of my favs because he's just so dang hilarious and snooty xD.

AND THE FIRST PROMPT IS DONE!
'Starfish' serves as a prologue of sorts, with the primary purpose of introducing our protagonists and giving some insight into the very different lives they lead. Their parents show them the exact same thing, yet two very different ideas are taken away from it.
I hope you enjoy!

HA, dear lord Dingo, you answered that first prompt masterfully. The contrast between characters was astonishing and really enjoyable to read. Poor little Shorekit is in for a lot it seems. Under his mother's shadow, never quite impressing her or catchng her attention. Its clear she cares for him in her own way. Maybe a bit overprotective at times, but something has damaged his outlook. I can relate to that quite well. It was very acurate.
And Jacaranda was the exact opposite. Gentle, curious, and caring but determined to learn and move forward. She's precious. And I like how you chose to only sever the starfish's one leg with Osprey and then have Sandstr completley sever it in half. It goes to show how different they are.
Really, really well done. I loved it!
And I only spotted one hiccup. In Shorekit's part you say "intent" when I think you meant intend? It's when Sandstar is scolding him.

I loved it! And I only spotted one hiccup. In Shorekit's part you say "intent" when I think you meant intend? It's when Sandstar is scolding him. AAAHHHHH THANK YOU SO MUCH! I'm really glad you enjoyed it! I'm glad I was able to contrast them! They're such different characters, so it's important that I was able to demonstrate that.
Yeah, poor Shorekit. I imagine him as being the only one of his litter to survive, causing Sandstar to become extremely overprotective, yet Shorekit often feels like he has to live up to the expectation of what his siblings would have become. Nothing he does is ever quite enough, he thinks, because one of his siblings could have done it so much better. Whether Sandstar feels the same way, to the same extent, remains to be seen.
I'm glad you like Jacaranda! She's such a still, thoughtful character (too precious for the harsh life of a loner), but she certainly has all the determination in the world. Ah, I'm so glad you like the starfish scenes! I really wanted to show the difference in personalities, as well how that impacts on Shorekit and Jacaranda.
Ah, thanks for pointing that out! I'll go back and fix it up!

Waves is done! I don't really like this one as much, but oh well. I guess this is one of those 'quantity rather than quality' ones. ¯\_(ツ)_/¯ Uh, anyway, we see how the clan is dealing with Shoretail's disappearance, and learn a little bit about why he was out in that storm in the first place.
I did enjoy writing the argument between the patrollers, though.

Im going to try and get another one done today!
Haha, yeah, it is. I don't consider myself competitive at all, but there's certainly that need to keep up with everyone else. Ha, I bet! That would be funny, if you ended up judging yourself XD

Im working on another but don't I'll actually get it up tonight. I am starting to doubt my ability to pull off all 31 with the inability to write much in vacation. XD
Are you kidding? I am probably the most competitive person you'll meet. I get really stressed out sometimes but have to remind myself that it's just for fun. And I actually really want to place but am trying to mentally prepare myself to not in case haha. We'll see, oh well. And jeez, Tues. you're doing well!
