Hello there! I was rereading the old Warriors books at work recently (1st series), and I've basically fallen in love with the old relationships between mentors and apprentices. In my opinion, they were a lot closer in the old series than they are nowadays, with mentors taking the roles of surrogate parents, older siblings, and actual mentors and friends.
So how about it? We could either do two pairs, so that both of us could be the mentor and apprentice, or we can do one for each of the four clans, giving us two mentors and two apprentices apiece.
We can come up with different scenarios as well, just letting the pairs bond.
