- - hello
my name is crossie nice to meet you<3. you may know me, you may not. whichever is the case, it's nice to meet you [again]. so, this is a little one on one roleplay plot shop, i guess. i really wanted it to be simple enough, not a ton of coding. something i can roleplay at and feel comfortable. so, anyhow, my plots are listed down below. i do ask you of a few things, such as literacy. i hope everyone can provide enough to reply to. i do require 3+ paragraphs when it comes to my roleplays. if you cannot provide such then this isn't for you. this roleplay also supports LGBTQ+. some most of these plots come from tumblr- plotsforall. i can duplicate each plot once.

[ plot one ] notes on a coffee cup ღ
Muse A frequents a coffee shop every day after school/work, Muse B works as a barista there. Muse A always sits at the same table by the window, in plain-sight of the counter, preoccupied with a book or their laptop. Muse B can’t help but notice Muse A and admire them from afar. Too shy to go up and talk to Muse A at their table, Muse B finds another way to make an impression. Muse B begins to write nice messages on Muse A’s coffee cups, gradually getting a little bolder each day. “Have a nice night.” “That must be a good book.” “You look nice today.” “You have a cute smile.” Usually, by the time Muse A notices these little notes, Muse B has switched shifts with someone else. One afternoon, Muse A comes in and orders their usual from Muse B. When the order is ready, Muse A makes sure to read the note right away. This time, the message reads: “Would you like to go out with me?"

[ plot three ] joy ride ღ
Muse A has been sheltered for most of their upbringing, coddled by loving but overprotective parents well into their teenage years. They’ve yet to experience most of the milestones that their same-age peers take for granted, like attending a school dance or getting their driver’s license. The only time that Muse A isn’t under the watchful eye of their parents is when they’re at school and even then, they’re under strict orders to come straight home once that dismissal bell rings. Muse B hasn’t resided with a parent/guardian since they were legally able to live on their own. They didn’t come from a nurturing environment, not even close, but they’re not looking for a pity party about it. Muse B fends for themselves in this world and they’ve earned a bit of a reputation for snubbing their nose at authority at every opportunity. Muse A encounters Muse B one afternoon as they’re making their way to the bus. Muse A can’t help but stare with envy as Muse B mounts their motorcycle—able to ride off whenever and wherever they please. Muse B catches Muse A staring and they offer Muse A a ride. Muse A accepts, hastily snatching up their first little taste of freedom.

[ plot four ] the concert ღ
Muse A has just suffered a devastating breakup, and they’re almost too depressed over it to go to a concert they’d been looking forward to all year. Muse A’s best friend convinces Muse A to go anyway, in the hopes that seeing their favorite musician will cheer their friend up. The concert is packed, and despite the cloud of negativity looming over Muse A, once the headliner takes the stage they start to feel better. For a few blissful minutes, Muse A forgets all about their romantic troubles and gets lost in the music and the energy of the crowd. Muse A accidentally bumps into Muse B, a fellow concert-goer. Muse B’s drink spills all over the both of them, leading both parties to apologize and awkwardly wring beer from their clothes. Muse A offers to buy Muse B a beer to replace the one that spilled and Muse B counters with an offer to buy Muse A a beer instead. Muse A accepts at the nudging of their best friend, and follows Muse B to the bar area where it’s a little quieter. They start talking and Muse B explains that he/she follows the band/musician and this is the 4th concert they’ve seen on this tour. Muse A is in awe and comments that they wish they could follow the band/musician too. Muse B shrugs and invites Muse A along to the next show. It’s only 50 miles out of town and they have a spare ticket. After giving it some thought, Muse A realizes they might not have an awesome opportunity like this again and this could be exactly what they need to get over their ex, so they agree to go with Muse B and they follow the tour route together.

[ plot five ] santas helper ღ
Muse A, a single parent has put it off for as long as they possibly could. Every day, after school their child has begged Muse A to take them to the mall to see Santa and every day, Muse A has said they’ll think about it. This afternoon, Muse A’s little one has made a list as long as their arm of all the reasons they would make the Nice list this year and therefore should be able to see Santa. Touched by their kid’s resolve, Muse A finally caves and brings their deserving child to the crowded shopping center for a meet and greet with Mr. Claus. Overwhelmed by the shiny, over-sized decorations everywhere, the twinkling lights, and the thick crowd of shoppers surrounding them, Muse A and their kid get separated. Muse A panics when calling their child’s name yields no response, and goes in search of mall security for help, but there’s no sign of a security guard anywhere.
Muse B is working at “Santa’s workshop”, snapping photos of kids sitting on Santa’s lap, handing out candy canes and generally spreading holiday cheer to all who pass. A crying child wandering around by the entrance gate catches Muse B’s eye. Muse B steps away from their duties to help and they’re able to get the parent’s name from the kid so that they can make an announcement over the mall speakers. Hearing that their child is safe, a very relieved Muse A runs to Santa’s workshop to reunite with their loved one. Muse A and Muse B meet and Muse A can’t think of a way to thank Muse B enough. Muse B simply requests that Muse A (and their little one) have dinner with them sometime, Muse A happily agrees.

Muse A and Muse B scrape together what money they can and run off in the middle of the night, leaving only a goodbye note behind for their parents. They get married in a quaint roadside chapel and find a cheap apartment to live in. They plan to find work and take care of each other from now on, however, it’s not long before they discover that it’s not as easy or as fun living independently as they dreamed it would be. Before they know it, they’re short on rent. Work leaves the newlyweds with little time for each other, and when they are together they begin to fight over their finances.

[ plot seven ] room 133 ღ
Muse A has been admitted to a psychiatric hospital, and is currently undergoing a long term evaluation. Muse B is a volunteer at the hospital. They bring the families of the residents anything they may need, sit with patients that have no visitors, or simply act as a good listener when needed. A doctor on staff directs Muse B to Muse A, explaining that Muse A is very much alert, but does not respond to anyone that attempts to interact with them. The doctor suggests that Muse B sit with Muse A on the next day, perhaps reading them a novel or telling stories in the hopes that a fresh face who is neither staff nor patient will garner a positive response. Muse B signs in the following day with a copy of their favorite book in hand and sits at Muse A’s side to read. Muse A does not respond for days on end, but one afternoon they finally make eye contact with Muse B, the hint of a smile on their features, looking forward to continuing the story. Muse B is overwhelmed by the small gesture, suddenly hit by the realization that in spite of Muse A’s complete and utter silence, they have grown incredibly fond of them. As the novel progresses, so does the connection between volunteer and patient. Only when the last page has been read aloud does Muse A finally speak to Muse B. Muse B confesses their feelings to Muse A, who reciprocates and in turn informs Muse B of the reason for their admittance to the hospital. Muse B promises to stand by Muse A, no matter what happens.
