Once again, sorry about the poof. I had a friend over, which turned into a sleepover, then a second friend came so it was a two night sleepover. That's probably the last one for a while though, until I go to Auckland.)
Fiona let out a tiny squeak of surprise as a gunshot sounded behind and, above her? She skidded to a halt and looked back, the policemen had stopped and were backing away slowly. "She's got backup!" One of them shouted. "Let's get out of here!" Another replied, and the group turned tail and ran, fearing the next bullet would meet it's target. Fiona, on the other hand, pulled out both her pistols and aimed them in the direction of the noise; the same roof she'd thrown the wallet onto. She set her face in a firm, emotionless expression and stood with her feet slightly apart, seemingly prepared or anything. The logical part of her brain was telling her if the person had wanted to shoot her, they would've by now, but the suspicious, untrusting part of her brain was telling her ;better safe than sorry', and she was inclined to agree with it.

It's okay! <3 ))
Khall watched with a satisfied smirk as he holstered his pistol at his hip once more. Watching the police men closely before his attention was caught with Fiona's reflection of defense. "I just saved your life and now you want to shoot me?" Khall called from up on the roof, raising his hands with a smirk as he stepped forward, peering down at her, but his gaze was distracted as he simply watched the men go. "One hell of a woman, aren't you?" He asked, his eyebrows raising as he watched the policemen flee the way they had come... Cowards. Khall looked back to the woman, before nodding at her pistol. Taking a fleetng moment to observe her. She was rather petite. but she looked tough in return for that disadvantage, she was lean too. Something told him she meant business no matter what he made himself believe. Blinking once at her, he cleared his throat. Acutely aware of the same pistol aimed to him from her position below him. He really didn't feel like dying today, that wouldn't be as fun as he hoped. He still held the wallet between two fingers, slowly bobbing it back and forth so he had her attention on it clearly enough. Kall kept his face relatively relaxed as he nodded to the pistol again, "Put that down before you get hurt, sweetheart." Khall called, his voice cracking into a small chuckle, "Then I'll consider returning your wallet that you carelessly dropped."

Fiona bared her teeth a little. "For one," she called, "don't call me sweetheart." She spat the name with disgust, glaring at him, but lowering her firearms slightly. "Two, I didn't drop it carelessly, I had no further use for it. I take only what I need and always leave some behind. You can keep it. And for three," she added, "for all I know you could've been firing at those policemen as a distraction and could whip out your pistol and kill me at any moment." The fact she had holstered her own pistols made it clear she didn't really believe that and mostly trusted him, not entirely, but mostly.

"I could've, but I don't need your life on my hands," Khall told her blankly, watching her slip her pistols back at her belt before dropping to slid off the roof and land neatly on his feet, tossing the wallet to her whether she liked it or not. "Anyway, aren't you rather small to be running around poking fun with The New Order?" He asked her, placing his hands on his hips and looking around carelessly, "I could barely see the top of your head." Khall commented, looking down at her, unable to help the smirk that played at his lips. "You remind me of one of those ankle biters those nobles have." He sighed. Nodding at the pistols at her belt, it must have been a miracle that she could aim as well as she could..

His face flashed with surprise for only a moment as she grabbed his collar, having forced to be hunched over so he was eye to eye with Fiona. After blinking for a moment, his face relaxed into something of an amused smirk on his face as she spat at him.. Typical women. He kept his eyes on herams as she vented, only really picking up on half here threats around the profanities. Once she was finished, he stepped back and slowly raised his hands, grinning "My apologies, sweetheart. I had do idea dwarfs really had feelings, you know?" He said slowly, his voice charming as he peered down at her. Seemingly amused by the situation he was just in. What were the chances she'd even follow through with that? Not saying he wanted to find out, however. Khalil the only shrugged, dusing himself off, "I apologize at any rate." He replied, extending a hand, "Name's Khall.. local you name it." Khall greeted, keepng one hand in the pocket of his coat, but removed it to lift his hat and duck into a low bow.

Khall nodded to her, "Pleasure to meet you." He chuckled, and he crossed his arms, raising an eyebrow as the chattering caight his attnetion, his eyes falling on the critter as it crawled from her coat and peered at him. "Yeah, that's what they do." He sighed, examing the thing, "Trelos, huh?" Little Squirt wasn't he? You didn't see much of these guys anymore, really. "What is he exactly?" Khall inquired, frowning a little. He listened in out onto the street for anything as he did so, making are there wasn't anybody listening in.. They weren't doing much good for themselves in this alley, it's probably be best if they left for somewhere a bit less.. exposed. He, atleast, didn't feel comfortable. He was used to blending with the crowd and standing her alome made his paranoia go haywire depsite his willingness to hide it.

Khall put his hands in the pockets of his coat, shifting his weight as he listened silently, his head bobbing a little in response. His gaze was flicking from Trell to Fiona carefully as she spoke though, leaving his attention even dispersed from her to the small animal. Khall eventually startd staring back at the ferret calmly and literally winking subtly at the creatures as it peered at him. I'll suppose I'll let him be the judge of my behavior., Khall lifted a hand to rub the back of his neck, is gazing fall back down to her in response to her question, "Khall." He responded simply, nodding once as he offered a lazy two fingered salute. "and how about you, sweetheart? Any street names?"
Welcome back! And yes I did ^^ ))

I can work with it! ))
Khall smirked, "You'd be surprised." He taunted emptily. Crossing his arms as he raised an eyebrow, watching the streets carefully. Becoming ever so impatient with standing here. For all, they know they could be watched. "Listen, sweetheart." He started slowly, "I should probably be on my way. I owe a somebody a something at a certain sometime." Khall explained, relaxing his posture as he slipped his hands into the pockets of his pants, glancing at the watch at his wrist.

Khall remained silent as he rolled his eyes in response, not saying anything as he turned some on his feet, "I appreciate the concern, but I'd hate to see what would come of me if I brought you along. In case you haven't noticed, compay isn't appreciated in the hussle of these streets." He responded simply, tapping his hands from inside his pockets, "Besides," Khalil added, giving her a sideways glance, "I have no business living or dying, not until what I get what is supposed to be done, done, of course." He began to walk, "If you really want to learn for yourself, pick it up. I won't be deciding whether you come or not, sweetheart but It's not my decision what happens to you either. Not that I'm supposed to care." He hummed slyly, turning back to the street. Clicking the heels of his boots on the stone as he walked slowly.

Khall sighed, rolling his eyes. "Let's just say I owe some big money." He muttered, rubbing his jaw, "Everything else, is none your business." He told her slipping his hands back into his pockets as he looked around cautiously. Frowning as he went, hoping there weren't any bouncers that expected business early. He already expected the consequences of thimble over there, but he couldn't help but wish otherwise.
What? lmAO ))

"Let me do the talking." He muttered to her, tossing her his top-hat, "Tuck your hair in if I were you." Khall added, glancing at the family's above them as they awoke to the rising of the sun. Night went by quick.. Tightening his holsters at his belt he lifted his chin to the bouncer as the bar's entrance. A burly man, with arms as thick as his chest and nasty face to match. Though he said nothing, his dark eyes doing much of the talking as Khall slipped past him. Squinting as the air became a little foggier with cigarette smoke, and the stench of old booze.

Khall stayed in front of her as he blew the smoke from his face, glancing down at her as they walked. She was astonishingly short compared to him already, next to these men, she was an ant. He said nothing as he put his hands on his hips, ducking and walking around the inhabitants of the bar. A lazy violin filling the air with hazy atmosphere, but the men here were probably too buzzed to be causing problems at this hour, and he wished the same. Khalla guided Fiona through the crowd until he broke off into a less inhabited area of the bar, only a few men and a modestly dressed woman, her wrists decorated in tattoos, remained there. They seemed in intense conversation as they shared a smoke, seemingly not noticing their presence until Khall took a casual seat in the chair next to the booth, his cheek to them.
The slimmest man, seemingly the leader as he adjusted his top hat, frowned. His baggy eyes falling on Fiona for a fleeting moment, a slight smirk revealing his yellowed teeth. "You're late." He said, his voice quiet and a little wheezy. "Dare I say you made a new friend on the way here?"
"My brother."

Yeah it's me ^^" Thank you very much, but I had just brushed it so it got very poofy a haha
The man eyed her suspiciously, grinning some. He knew more than well there was something strange about this individual, he'd seen there type. "I advise you not to play games with me, boy."
"Nevermind that." Khalil interrupted, glaring at him some, slipping a ticket like slip of paper under the table am to Fiona as he held the man's gaze. Willing him to keep his eyes on him. "What is it you want, Javer?" Of all the thing she could have tagged along. She was toying with her own life here... Not to mention his. He lifted his chin as the man's, Javer's, comrades leaned back into their seats. "As far as I'm concerned, I naturally don't owe you the clothes off my back. I just decided to come and ask how you were. But obviously, that isn't appreciated."
