The wind is soft, a humid breeze only bringing relief in air that’s moving without cooling. The cats gathered here seem unbothered by the heat. Of course, they have lived in it much longer. The dark-furred she-cat in front of you clears her throat, and the murmur of the crowd slips into silence. She turns her bright gaze upon you with barely-concealed curiosity. Her voice holds authority, it echoes around the clearing, surrounding you completely. She must be the leader, you think.
“Cats gathered here—DuskClan, DawnClan, MidnightClan, you have before you a cat who has chosen to learn of our life. So this gathering must be in peace, and any who interrupt that careful peace will be exiled and will not be allowed to become one of the Spirits among us this day and night.”
Once finished with her speech, she turns to a log worn in three places of equal height, and two other cats join her. One in each rounded spot, each radiating authority. Three leaders then, you think with surprise. The gathering draws on, issues discussed by moonlight, opinions aired and territory lines grumbled about until at last, as dawn begins to peek over the horizon, you are brought up again. You jerk awake from your dozing as your name is called. There is gentle laughter that quiets as soon as you stand.
“Welcome. Today you are given choice. If you wish to stay among us, you may wander through each clan until a season has passed. You may choose to live among the winding rivers, the light-filled foothills, or the secluded forests, or even at that time you may choose to leave us. Rarely has a cat decided to leave, but it has been done. Tell us, do you welcome the night? Or do you prefer the light of day? Or perhaps you prefer the mists that surround the inbetween?”
- All forum rules apply, as well as general roleplaying rules such as no Godmodding/Powerplaying/ Spotlighting/Mary-Sues or Gary-Stus, just don't do it, it's unpleasant for everyone if you do.
- Please be polite to your fellow clanmates and everyone else who may pop in from time to time. They may be a rulebreaker but please remain civil. This is to ensure a safe environment for everyone, including any LGBTQIA+ people, no matter our differences, we're gathered to have fun and enjoy one another's company. There may be times when emotions run high, but please take it outside of this thread as many do not consent to being a part of your issues. Kids, little and big, are everywhere here and that's a good thing! So let's keep it safe and fun.
- Activity isn't a huge deal, I know how life gets. Trust me, I'm going to college and have a part time job, but I'll be doing my best to use what little free time I may have to have fun by being here. But if being here starts to feel like a drag or in general is difficult or overwhelming to see what you've missed, feel free to ask to leave at any point. No judgement here, and I certainly don't mind putting you back in at a later date if you like. I simply ask that you rp when you can and please don't leave people stuck with their cats unavailable to rp with anyone else for awhile. In order to prevent this, most threads are able to be paused and so the person can then use their cat with someone else, and then pick up when you come back. If this needs to be further explained or becomes an issue, PM me if you like.
- Please be relatively literate. I'm not asking for all pretty posts, just very few spelling errors and few grammar mistakes. If the mistakes become to a point where your partner is confused by your reply, you will be asked to either leave and rejoin later, or simply to proofread your responses perhaps using a program like Google Docs or Microsoft Word.
- If any of the previous rules are disregarded or you wish to argue with me about them, either privately message me, or you will be reported if you are vulgar or hateful in any way. This is, again, a safe zone for a reason and I will be keeping it that way. Here is the joining page.

OUT OF RP
8/13/16 - The rp is officially open! karma has joined!
IN THE RP
The season is Greenleaf. The weather is cloudy, grey skies that threaten to rain.
PLOTS
Forbidden Romance - You cannot have a mate outside of your rank. Your cat decides to disobey this, and so comes the rp of keeping it a secret, maybe having kits or possibly being discovered. Your choice!
1. Fallensky ( karma ) 2. 3. 4.
Internal Struggles - Your cat doesn't believe in Spirits. Or they don't like the way things are done, are even considering leaving the clan or changing rank. Really anything and everything can be done here. This is an individual cat plot so there's no limit to the slots, only I ask that you try and involve another cat, preferably a new joiner as a friend or family member that your cat confides to about their struggles.
Fox Attack - While your cat is on a patrol, on gathering herbs duty, or hunting, the group is attacked by an angry mother fox protecting her babies! Figure out if the cats fight back or run, or whatever you would like!
Sickness - In the clan, there's a strange illness that seems to only be affecting certain members. The healers are trying to figure out if it's contagious and how to identify it as well as cure it. There is only a few affected currently, but they have no idea if the sickness is deadly, only that is causes extreme exhaustion. No cat has yet died. There are only two slots for affected cats, but please know that anyone can join as healers working on the cure or taking care of the cats. 1. 2. - River's Joining - The Gathering Place for all three clans, typically DuskClan will only have the leader, deputy, Speaker, and one cat from each title due to the distance of the gathering from their camp, aka one healer, one warrior, one apprentice, etc.
- Speaker's Watch - The place where Speakers go to perform rituals, to keep watch over the unclaimed land that is roamed by Spirits. There is always a Speaker on watch, and during the time that the Speaker is on duty, their apprentice will be cared for by another Speaker until they are determined old enough to join those on watch. This is also where leaders may convene best with the leaders of the Spirits, and will be watched by Speakers. No other cats are allowed to venture this far.
- Lake of Wandering - The lake's coast up to twenty pawsteps from the water remains unclaimed by any clan, and is a peaceful passageway between clans. This is also where some Spirits may drift, unsure of their travels. However, there is an island that is claimed by MidnightClan as training grounds for their apprentices. This is not to be disturbed.
- Night Marshes - A dangerous area not for the untrained, there are some truly terrifying Spirits here, although there is also good hunting for those who dare to go. This place is said to be closest to the Other, the original home of the Spirits.
- Camp - The DuskClan camp is on a larger island in the corner of an unnamed lake, connected to shore by smaller islands. The entire camp is ringed in small birch trees, a knotted, natural barrier against storms.
- Dens - Three of the islands ringing the camp are close enough to have become dens for hunters, warriors, and the deputy, connected by sandbars to the main camp. Their dens are covered in brush that has been woven to form a barrier against the elements, with smooth stones anchoring the bottom. Instead of moss, which easily soaks up water and becomes unbearable, they use the feathers of Egrets and Cranes, as well as Herons to line the floors. The leader's den is the closest to land, and is more of a small outcropping than an island to itself. The leader has room for their mate and kits as well if they so choose. The dens of the healers, storytellers, queens, and apprentices are on the main island. The queens are located on the side closest to mainland, with the healers to their right. The storytellers and apprentices have their dens within a small hillside on the island, smaller than most of the dens. The healers' and queens' dens are similar to those of the small islands, except they do include moss as their dens are set farther from the water itself.
- Branch of Gathering - There is an older Black Ash tree that bends over the camp, one branch just low enough for the leader to make announcements from, or for warriors and hunters to gather near as the deputy assigns patrols. It is also known as "The Low Branch" as a shorter name.
- Training Grounds - There is a clearing not far from the camp, inbetween the Evergreen trees and small marshes. This is the only official training grounds, large enough for both warriors and apprentices to practice in with a few logs strewn about as well.
- Landmarks - There is a tall Oak tree intertwined with another tree, called the Twin Oaks near the Night Marshes. Near the Eastern edge of DawnClan's border, there is a clearing of boulders and a small canyon, named Little Rocks.

HISTORY
The history of the clans is told again and again with few changes in the way that follows.
Midnight was the first, the loner who had been abandoned, to see them. This she-cat with fur as dark as night saw Spirits. She spoke to them without fear, and even helped them overcome their struggles. So she was protected by them as she wandered. As she wandered, she found another who believed her, who could then speak to the Spirits because of their belief. So this second cat was named Dusk, for their coat was dappled with darkness and light. Together they roamed, until they found many cats lost and exiled for being different than the clans they had once been born to, with a single cat rising above the rest whose voice called these lost cats to hope and to light. Dusk and Midnight named him Dawn, for he showed the cats that they could be more, that they could live in the light. Dusk, Midnight, and Dawn could speak directly to the Spirits, but found that the others could only feel their presence, could see without hearing. This trouble the three Speakers, but more troubling was the coming winter. The cats needed a home, so they pressed upward, through mountains, guided by the Spirits. Then they found the land that would become their home.
Dawn wished for the foothills, because they would always feel the light of day first. The cats that wanted the same followed him, yet missed their companions. Dusk wished for seclusion, and so those who wished the same followed to find the islands and the Night Marshes. Midnight liked the river's edge, and so parted from the others with her own band of cats.
Cats longed to meet again, to see their journey's companions, so formed a gathering place at river's joining. Dusk did not mind the distance as few of their group wished to gather. So time passed, and the leaders built camps and explored their new territories. There still remained the land between the mountains and the ocean, and this land was one of a loneliness that was cold and bitter, even for Dusk. The Spirits warned the leaders that they would soon pass on, and so needed to choose those who must speak for them. The leaders decided that those who will Speak must be chosen by Spirits, and those who will lead must be chosen by living. With this decided, they passed on and left their territories to a new generation.
Disaster struck the three groups, first Midnight, then Dusk, were flooded entirely and forced to live with Dawn, and so the lines blurred between groups. A brave band of young cats believed that something was wrong with the afterlife, so they ventured into the Night Marshes and spoke plainly with the Spirits there despite the anger that caused them to manifest. These angry Spirits spoke of strange beings who would not obey the Six Laws, and so the first Speakers were chosen to fight against the Unmade. The Unmade were those who had no purpose but to unmake, to destroy everything because they themselves had been destroyed. These cats pushed back wave after wave until all cats joined them, living and Spirit, pushing them behind the mountains. The Unmade were subdued, nearly defeated, but still some remain in the world that did not fight that day. So those Speakers, after counting their dead and repairing what they could of the territories, made a barrier between the mountains and the ocean, the small area that enters into the territories. This was the Speaker's Watch.
Once all had been reclaimed, the flood waters receded, the cats decided that they were not simply groups of former clans, that they were clans in their own rights. Even former rogues and loners, kittypets even, were proud to be clan cats. So then the clans were called DuskClan, MidnightClan, and DawnClan, as brave as they had been before they were named. This is why all cats are given choice, because no cat is the same, and each must fight for the place they call home. So they need to feel love for their home, for they must be brave when times are dire. Each and every clan was made up of a mix of cats, cats who cared enough to lay down their lives for each other, and that is all you need to be a clan cat.
SPIRITS Spirits are those cats who have passed on, and those who have passed have choice of their afterlife. There are three distinct choices for your everyday Spirit.
THOSE WHO LIVE These are the cats who choose to live among the living as guides, as guardians. They are often the most peaceful of the Spirits, but due to their nature, are unable to speak directly with the cats they choose to live beside. This is because, while able to manifest, their ties to the living are abstract and therefore like mist. They rarely remember who they were in their time as living cats, but are able to remain because of strong emotions, frequently loyalty, affection, protective instinct. There are those who remain out of anger, or negative emotions, but these are barred from clans, relegated to wander such places as the Night Marshes.
THOSE WHO SPEAK The direct links between the afterlife and the living, these cats are able to speak for periods with Speakers, and to a lesser extent through dreams of the living. They are often leaders within the afterlife and call gatherings of all Spirits to serve the afterlife. These cats have stronger bonds with the living, manifesting due to a sense of purpose or perhaps a debt to some cat still alive. Cats who speak are often able to remember what they looked like in life, and perhaps their name, however they are barred from remembering their previous clan as Those Who Speak must be neutral in conflicts between clans, whether living or passed.
GALAXY RUNNERS These cats belong to the stars, who claim the afterlife as if reborn. Galaxy Runners are their own pack, separate from any other Spirit, without any loyalty but to other Runners. They frequently take new names, and roam both worlds of living and dead purely for the sake of it. Their motto is said to be, “Never satisfied.” Any cat may choose to become a Runner, whether immediately after passing or after having been one of Those Who Live. Once chosen, the life of a Galaxy Runner is never forsaken. These cats remember nothing of their previous life, and are happier that way. Despite their free nature, they do send a representative to every meeting of the Spirits, as they are best able to watch over both worlds and any danger that may threaten any cat. Galaxy Runners are able to traverse through dreams, but cannot speak to the living directly, except for their chosen leader.
The last category is not chosen, but earned. LEGENDS are cats who, either through heroics or villainy, have become powerful Spirits whose names are not forgotten. Legends can be guardians, wanderers, spirits of hatred to spirits of justice. They are often transformed in death, often becoming big cats such as lions, tigers, black leopards, etcetera. Their names remain, with the addition of why they became LEGENDS, i.e. Silverwing the Faithful for his loyalty to his clan. There are few who have earned the right to be a LEGEND, because they then have the ability to truly affect either world—however they rarely manifest alone, they need the belief and the help of the living in order to be brought into that world. In the afterlife, they often sleep until called due to the draining nature of their powers. Much of their existence remains a mystery.
THE SIX LAWS OF THE AFTERLIFE
I. Relationships between living and Spirit must be mutually beneficial to both parties—no living may take advantage of the passed, and vice versa.
II. No living may be forced into the afterlife before it is their time—no harm to any living may be committed by a Spirit.
III. No Spirit is without voice in any choice for the whole of the afterlife. Every voice is equal and may be heard.
IV. Legends may not be woken for trivial reasons and must be respected for their achievement.
V. Those Who Speak are the only ones who may speak in living words, who may directly influence the living by speaking with them.
VI. The emotions and reasons for manifesting of every Spirit are private and are not to be disrespected nor questioned, so long as that Spirit is not to harm any living.
RANKS
LEADER Self-explanatory. However, as like any cat they are only given one life. If they prove themselves a worthy leader in that life, they are given the choice to be reborn or to become a Spirit.
DEPUTY The deputy is also self-explanatory. They are given leadership when the leader is unable to, they are frequently the most senior of their rank and have mentored at least one apprentice before given the rank. In times of emergency, these qualifications may be ignored.
SPEAKER The only cat allowed to speak with the Spirits. They do not have to have been a healer and allowed to be among the other ranks until their Watch comes upon them. This period is at least four moons spent in isolation, watching over the mountains and the unclaimed lands for malicious Spirits. During this time, their apprentice and their clan will be watched by another Speaker until they return. Speakers’ may not have bias, and must remain neutral in clan conflicts.
HEALERS These are the cats who know herbs, who know how to heal wounds whether physical or mental. Healers are allowed to learn defensive maneuvers in order to protect their patients. These cats are specialized, and though their group is small, it is not as small as the hunters.
HUNTERS These cats are the ones that feed the clan, who make sure the clan itself is well-fed from the youngest kit to the leader. This rank is one of masterful skill, and therefore there are rarely more than seven cats who claim it at any time.
WARRIORS These cats patrol the territory, fight for the clan, and protect those who cannot protect themselves. If not in battle, they are fortifying the camp, or they are watching over kits for their mothers. Though their title is warrior, they are the all-around cat, the jack-of-all-trades who are always busy. If you are a warrior who is lazing about, you are soon to be found a job to do. This is the largest rank, due to their nature as being without specialization.
STORYTELLERS Though these cats are frequently elder cats, this is because they know the best stories. These cats tell stories of battles, healing, etcetera, to all ages. Storytellers are allowed to take apprentices, and often do so, as their knowledge is invaluable to the clan. They promise to pass on all their knowledge before they pass on themselves.
MENTORS Self-explanatory.
APPRENTICES Self-explanatory. Apprentices can be any age, and are given the choice when they wish to take on that duty. Even warriors may wish to become apprentices again to learn to be a healer or a hunter. This is rare, but does happen. They will then take on the -paw again and be renamed. Kits may not become apprentices until seven moons.
QUEENS The mothers of the clan. They are allowed to return to their rank at any time, and their kits will be watched by clanmates as they do so.
KITS Self-explanatory.
CLANS
Each clan has traits honed to their environment. DawnClan is lean, full of quick runners for hunting among the foothills and meadows. MidnightClan is full of long swimmers and forest hunters, perfect among the pines. DuskClan is made up of cats built for endurance and stealth among the trees and marshes of their territory. These are simple descriptions of the clans, but due to the diversity in cats in each clan, there is little to bind each group together besides their territories. This is because frequently cats who are lost among the mountains or are escaping from some part of the world, following the rivers, these cats empty into the clans. They are then given a chance at the next gathering to choose to stay with the clan they first ended up with, or to wander among the clans. After a season has passed, they are then asked to choose to stay or to leave entirely.
DUSKCLAN
DuskClan is isolated due to the distance of their camp, rarely interacting with the other clans. They rarely have territory disputes, especially with the ever-amiable DawnClan. They are cats who stick to themselves, seeing little need to venture far from their camp.
As they are isolated, they are more traditional than the other clans. They began the tradition of keeping ranks apart many leaders ago, at least romantically. This was originally begun in order to keep the healers safe as some ambitious warriors were beginning to mate with them not out of love but for power. In one infamous case, the healer was murdered by his mate, then his empty rank was given to his former-mate turned murderer. The cat then went on the secretly poison any kits in the clan that he perceived as weak, and much of the clan's young ones were lost before he was discovered. The leaders then decided it would be best to keep the ranks apart until they could determine who was only plotting for power and who was truly in love. Over time, DuskClan simply forgot that this was a temporary measure and the story became one taught to apprentices who had yet to choose their rank. The only exception is the leader and the deputy, who if having mates before their final rank, may keep them. However, if yet to have a mate, they may choose only from their previous rank. For example, a warrior may become leader or deputy, then they can only choose to have a mate who is a warrior. The Speaker has two ranks, that of Speaker and either warrior, hunter, or healer so must choose from their second rank.
THE CODE OF DUSKCLAN
- A cat will help another in need, no matter who they are or what allegiance they claim.
- No cat is to deliberately end the life of another.
- Cats must respect their Spirit Guardians, and never disobey them without good reason.
- No cat is to be stripped of the freedom of choice when they are old enough to choose a rank. This must be an individual choice for the cat, with no other influence.
- A cat must complete apprenticeship from the time of six moons onward in order to be given choice of rank.
- Cats may not mate with those of a different rank than themselves.
*For now, only DuskClan exists as a full rp. If this is successful, MidnightClan and DawnClan will be opened either by myself, or under the leadership of those I trust.

Ravenstar | She/Her A tortoiseshell she-cat with a stubborn drive to survive describes Ravenstar succinctly. She is patterned with more black than orange, without any white at all. She was once a hunter, with the sleek, stealthy build of one still remaining with her. Though is has been many moons since her sharp yellow eyes were a hunter's, she still keeps the shrewd focus of one as well. She is absolute in her authority, but still allows questioning of it as she believes that as she is only a cat, she cannot be perfect and so needs perspective from her clanmates. Her decision is final, and not to be disobeyed, as her wrath is terrifyingly silent. She is stern but she does enjoy the stories of the Storytellers as she did when she was young, so frequently can be found sitting just behind the apprentices who have no idea she is listening just as if she too was hearing each story for the first time. She rarely laughs, and is often told she needs to lighten up a bit, but she feels the weight of her position too strongly and as she was made leader young due to the last leader being taken by sudden sickness, she has had little opportunity to make friends. She was born to the clan and grew to become a skilled hunter, but soon after her choice, the clan was hit by a wave of illness that took first the deputy, then a few of the senior members so the Speaker was told to advise the current leader to appoint her as deputy. Then she became leader not long after, and despite her inexperience was able to rally the clan and help them to survive with her own strong sense of survival guiding her. Test. Test. Goldensky | She/Her A cream-colored tabby, she has a pale gold undercoat that's nearly white. Her classic stripes are a soft cream. She is a mixture of breeds, both Manx and American Shorthair clearest with her strong back legs and her round face. She does have a tail, though not as long as most cats. Her eyes are a mixture of green and brown, the light green more prevalent. She has a quiet, but kind personality. She is gentle but remarkably strong and steady, an anchor in the clan for most cats the cling to, and always willing to listen to another's problem. She can be self-deprecating, but also encourages others. She was born to a rogue she-cat during the coldest hours of dawn, and before day had broken, she had left the clan without her daughter. Luckily, there was a queen able to nurse her, and so became her adopted mother. In the hours she was alone though, there was a Spirit of kindness that stayed with her and kept her from crying for her birth mother. Ever since then, she has been kind and self-sacrificing. However, she is struggling in secret with her choice to become a healer. As much as she enjoys the work, she knows she is slower to realize the tasks needed to be done, that she is slowly enjoying it less every day.
Cleargaze | She/Her Cleargaze is a long-haired silver-gray tabby she-cat. She is small and has long feathery fur. Her belly is white and so is her ear tips. She is petite and not so great of a fighter. Her eyes are a pale blue color. She is timid half the time. Cleargaze hates confrontation and tries to avoid it all the time. She is super shy and very nervous. Doesn't really enjoy meeting new cats. Besides that entire she is friendly and lovable. The young she-cat may be a healer but has a heart of a warrior. She feels the need to heal her clan mates as much as she possibly can. Cleargaze is quite hard on herself especially if she loses a clan mate that she could not save. It would just break her heart. Cleargaze has an half sister named Fallensky, a young hunter. The only reason they are half siblings is because they have different mothers. Cleargaze's mother is Littlefrost who passed away from sickness and Cleargaze was just a learning apprentice then. Cleargaze hates herself since she could not save her own mother.
Fallensky | She/Her
This young she-cat is short-furred with creamy-white fur and grayish-brown spots decorating her pelt. She is slim and tiny with some muscles. Her eyes are doe-like and are a pretty light blue color. She is broad shouldered and has short whiskers. Fallensky is a kind and has a sweet soul. But she is very shy and very quiet. Not many cats in the clan can say they ever heard her speak. She also can be very antisocial. She became a hunter because of her small body and flexibility. It's going to be hard to see this she-cat actually socializing with the clan or being around anyone. Fallensky half sister is Cleargaze, different moms, same father. Her mother Cloudyheart gave birth to Fallensky but went a-wall when she was around two moons. She hasn't seen her mother since. Snowfeather | He/Him
He is a slender tom patched in black and brown, though only a few on his back. There is one black patch that covers his muzzle and rises up to his forehead over half his face. He has cold blue eyes and a proud demeanor to match. He is swift, especially to discipline those unlucky apprentices to be near him. He can have a cruel sense of humor. He is also extremely vain, frequently cleaning himself to keep his fur uncluttered by dirt. His hunting skills are valuable to the clan, so often, rather than the patrol the other warriors do, he is asked to join the hunters. This is not uncommon in the clan's history, but it is often wondered why he did not choose to simply be a hunter. This lies in his secret crush he has held since apprenticeship, and he refuses to disobey the code. Despite his pride and cruel humor, he is extremely loyal to the clan and does not mind standing up to his leader or deputy if he believes they are making a choice not in the best interest of the clan. He is also extremely self-sacrificing in times of need, to the point he has nearly lost his life defending the clan more times than most warriors. He was born to the clan with two siblings, but his parents were of different ranks, so were given the choice to either separate and only have one exiled while the other raised the kits, or to both be exiled. They were both exiled. This is perhaps why he has such extreme loyalty to his clan and the code. Test. Test. Test. Test.

Cleargaze was in the Healers den, sorting herbs. The small she-cat sighed and fished her tail over her nose so she wouldn't sneeze. This is the only bad part of being a Healer, the young she-cat silently told herself.
Fallensky was padding back into camp, two mice hanging from her jaws. The spotted she-cat dropped them off on the fresh-kill pile and yawned. The huntress stretched out her small body and flexed her claws.

[ Soo sorry for poofing, more chores and then olympics lol ]
Goldensky began to wake, eyes still heavy with the remnants of her short sleep as she staggered slowly to her paws. She yawned and stretched, trying to shake off her exhaustion but so little sleep for five nights did not leave her as fresh as she would have liked. Dealing with illness was difficult enough without the illness being unknown. She managed to pad quietly into the main area with it's little hollows of herbs everywhere. She offered a small nod to Cleargaze and joined her in the soothing, if scent-drenched practice of sorting and counting the herbs. She murmured with a smile, "Up rather early aren't you?"

{ its fine c: }
Cleargaze glanced at her companion and nodded. "Didn't sleep to well last night," the young she-cat responded and continued sorting. "So I thought I would give myself something to do." She quietly murmured. "It get's quite messy in here sometimes.." she muttered.

[ Phew, just updated everything, sorry it takes a bit heh ]
She chuckled with a soft exhale that lead into her amused, "Yes, it does. You would think with so many healers...well, you and I aren't doing very well at sleeping, might as well be useful." She flicked her tail as she counted, not noticing her movement as she muttered to herself.

Cleargaze glanced at her companion. "Well you were the one who taught me these ways," the shy cat teased her. "If I would've gotten a different mentor then I think I would be sleeping soundly." She continued to tease. She then paused and took a glance over the herbs she counted and organized. "So far we need marigold. coltsfoot, and dock." She muttered to herself then removed her tail so she can take a fresh breath of air.

[ Hey! How are you? Just a quick note before I reply, healers work differently than medicine cats, in that Goldensky and Cleargaze are probably the same age as there are quite a few healers, and I feel like Goldensky is newer to her rank than most? If you still want Goldensky to have mentored her that's fine too though ^_^ ]

{ i just think that golden and clear would have an unusual relationship due to being mentor and apprentice than the others. it could cause for a good relationship and that only clear only became healer because she was quite cut out to be a hunter c: }

[ Ok fine by me! ]
She chuckled, whiskers twitching in her amusement. "Well, it's better to wake too early than too late," she murmured, eyes lowering to check the burdock as well. She no longer minded the scents, giggling at Cleargaze's need to cover her nose with her tail. The she-cat's smile dropped as she listed off the needed herbs and a sigh came with an exhale. "We'll have to be quick to gather them," she said seriously. "Perhaps we need more paws?"

|| cleary || to: golden || The young Healer nodded. "I know Fallensky is free at the moment, not so sure about Snowfeather though," Cleargaze murmured thoughtfully. She stood up and was careful where to step. "I'll go see if their free," she meowed before padding out of the den. She searched for Fallensky and found her half sister by the fresh-kill pile, cleaning her coat up. Cleargaze lightly smiled and padded over to the spotted hunter. "Fallensky, would you like to come and help us pick herbs?" She questioned.

Goldensky tilted her head slightly as she watched the she-cat ask her sister to join them. She shook her head and suppressed a sigh as she too padded out of the den. She shook off the remnants of herbs and sleep, managing a weak glare at Snowfeather. The tom sighed loudly, amusement dry as he answered her glare with a, "Oh poor Goldensky, do you really need my beautiful face to chase away the pain of seeing Fallensky's awful muzzle?" He was teasing, that much was obvious despite his harsh personality.
Goldensky scowled at him and he rolled over away from her glares, falling asleep again in the faint sunlight streaming through the leaves.
The healer groaned but began trotting out anyway, "Come along then, us three should be enough, no?"

{ hey there c: sorry for any short responses lately i haven't had any muse ;-; }
Fallensky heard Snowfeather's comment and glared at the den. She began to head over there, fur pricking and ears flattened. "Why you," she quietly growled but then only to yip when she felt Cleargaze's teeth lightly touch her tail. "Let's not get in any arguments now," the healer mumbled through the short fur. Fallensky just whipped her spotted tail away and felt her pelt get warm.
