Nine Lives is an RPG forum game about a Paradox Location modeled with the ideas of Erwin Schrödinger, specifically, Schrödinger's cat. Haven is this paradox universe, in which living creature are brought to a place of existence, and none existent. Here are creatures that no longer have will, therefor they don't exist but do, these creatures are Nix, and are made up by shadows. In each Round, the characters are put through Trials and must destroy Statue's to return to the normal area, once all trails are done, a session of voting must go one. If a character reaches the number of 9, they can escape, but if they reach 0, they turn into a character of the Nix Class. This will be the series of stories that follows each Round. Only members of 9 Lives are aloud to help. Credit: tinybreeze, creator of 9 Lives. Authors and Editor position opened for Members or Nine Lives. Follow Forum rules, I hold all right to reject the help of someone if I feel they don't fit the correct criteria.

Characters:
Ilex ~ Main protagonist in each story. (EX so far: Nine Lives, Fight or Flight.)
Story lines ~ So Far:
Nine Lives: Many cats find themselves in an odd location they can't escape. The cats are put through trails to find statues to destroy and return to the main area of this mysterious place. Even along the way dangerous shadow creatures hunt the cats. As questions surface about what the place really is, along with what strange bands are around their paws, and even more so, why they can't remove the items. As they learn more about this place, they learn about the identity of living and not existing, and the place they reside, Haven. With one goal in mind, reach the number 9, and escape.
Flight or Fight: As old residents of Haven emerge with new game players, the challenge is on to escape once more. This time, a new twist is added, wings. Ilex, and her returning peers search for why they have memories of the shadows, and what Haven really is.

I ask that all authors show me an example of a one-shot or fanfiction. If none are available, then we'll find something out, I'm not rejecting you because you don't write one-shots and fan-fictions. So you can still be an author regardless.

I'm not the most confident as a writer, but I should be a helpful editor, especially after studying English a lot recently. Plus, I have a lot of knowledge about the setting and lore due to being the game's creator, so I'm available for fact-checking either way.

The ability was Insight. It was sadly not used much, but I'll utilize it more in Round 2.

Also for anyone interested, I'll be holding a small contest to see who can make the best Cover.
You can enter for one or for both, this will probably go on the art form as well. Just letting members get a first hand try at this.
Winners(or Winner) will get a free banner and full layout from Indigo Wisp, my on personal layout shop. As well as up to 3 colored in outlines of cats you have as personal characters you may use with credit.
So far, here's what I would like.
I kind of would like a shadowy backdrop with the main characters in the front, as of now, Ilex, Heavystrike and Ashpaw are the only protagonists, so include them somehow please, I'll try to find references for each round 1 protagonist soon.
As an added bonus, I'd like each over submitted to have their own take on a statue, non-members can enter I guess.
As an added note, I might enter as well too, as I plan to have them be voted on by other people in a poll.
The title should be Nine Lives in a mysterious format. The authors should be listed as the authors here, or simply don't list us, either works.
As of now, I'm not officially starting this but leaving it as a fun idea, if you guys would like to do that, that is.
Also, covers that are traditional I might convert and color to Digital just to make it more appealing(due to digital looking somewhat better for a cover on a website, or if the picture is scanned and looks oddly colored). Either way, you may enter both if we do this.
Also, Fight or Flight cover will not be started yet, as we will have to see were Round 2 goes.
