Lilystar | Camp
Lilystar sighed, sitting under a nearby bush. The clan was under threat and there was nothing that she could do. Snakeskin was swamped with sick cats, all suffering with white cough. She was just relieved that no cat had suffered with green cough yet, the clan couldn't afford to lose more members. After the foxes had stolen the clans entire food reserves and murdered two cats in cold blood, the clan hadn't recovered. Lilystar had almost lost a life fighting one of the uvinile foxes, but she, and Violetshade, had been able to kill it quick enough. He clan needed a new deputy, and Lilystar needed to choose one fast. Lionclaw had died fighting for his clan and should be honoured in StarClan, but Lilystar missed him dearly. Not only was the clan dwindling, but apprentice numbers were so low that Lilystar had been forced to take in loners and rouges... It was certainly dark times for the clan. A few warriors, including herself, had been out on a hunt earlier. Hardly anything was caught. After the foxes had torn through the territory, the prey was scarce.Likystar had managed to catch two voles and another warrior caught a mouse... But that was it. Lilystar sighed, yet again, pulling herself up and standing before her camp. "Everyone gather around... We need to have constant hunting parties out in the territory During the day. Do I have any volunteers for the next hunting party? I will be accompanying you myself." She scanned her group of cats, knowing that there were no lazy cats before her, she was confident that a hunting party would soon be arranged.
Sagepaw | Camp
Hearing Lilystar's announcement, Sagepaw rushed to his leader's side and sat down. Looking, wide eyed, at his leader, Sagepaw spoke up "I'd love to go on a hunting trip! Can Luckpaw come too!" Sagepaw bounced up and down where he sat, feeling hopeful that he'd be able to show off his skills to Lilystar. Although he was only young, Sagepaw believed that he was so amazing that he'd be able to be one a warrior early. Although this had never happened before... Sagepaw was positive that he would become a warrior early and have his first battle shortly after. Standing up, Sagepaw walked over to Luckpaw and brushed against the cat "come on Luckpaw" he began to circle Luckpaw, becoming increasingly excited "we should definitely go on this trip. We must prove ourselves to the clan" he smiled, mischievously "aanndd... I bet I catch a huge rabbit before you do" a glint entered his eye as he enticed his friend, he hoped that they could hunt together.
