Dovestar's ear flicks and she lifts her head, "Eagletalon?" She mewed, catching his scent before she opened her eyes and saw him exiting her den. "Wait, please."

Dovestar tried to relax but she was nervous. She wasn't totally sure how he felt about her even after his gesture.
(Sorry I disappeared for awhile. Got really busy and just needed a stress break from the forums)

Eagletalon felt like making a move but he wondered if it was to early. Maybe Dovestar didn't want a mate right now. There was only one way to find out. "So what do you think about mates and kits?" He asked hoping that wouldn't be a weird question to ask.

Dovestar glanced at her paws, "I would like to have a mate and kits eventually. I want to make sure that the clan is going to survive before I have kits though." She didn't make any mention about eventually wanting a mate, mainly about kits. She didn't want him to leave because she seemed like she wasn't interested.

Dovestar looked at him, "why wouldn't you want others to know. Most she-cats would love to be mates with a romantic tom." She felt her ears heat up in embarrassment and tucked them against her head shyly.

"I..." she trailed off, too nervous to tell him how she felt. She felt crazy. How could she lead a clan, but couldn't tell a tom how she felt about him.

Eagletalon figured he might as well speak up. "I like you Dovestar. Think I always have since you let me into the clan. However, I didn't think you wanted a mate so I turned my attention elsewhere. However that didn't turn out so well."
