Mallowstem's maw was a straight line. Truthfully, she didn't like to see how nervous Chillberry was, but...he was certainly acting guilty. And he couldn't take back anything he had already revealed. Nobody important. Hah. She scoffed inwardly, a sense of dread settling within her.
They cannot be allowed to meet. They cannot be allowed to plan. They must not leave camp, where the whole Clan can keep their eyes on--
Mallowstem whipped around at the sound of Mudfleck's growl. "I followed him out here," she admitted slowly, her voice still cold. "Says he's going to 'meet someone,' but that they're not important. After curfew!" Her eyes narrowed to slits. "Don't know if I believe that."
yo Myst if u have Chill run while Mud and Mallow are distracted then it'll prob be easier to start a fight

yo true
The tom felt guilty. He hadn't had any ill intentions, but he sure felt guilty as ever. He didn't know where what to do in a situation like this - he'd be sure to get in trouble... Ah, but that was the least of his worries right now. Right now, he had to figure out how to get out of this.
He was starting to feel particularly flighty, and she shifted his weight from side to side, digging his claws into the dirt to keep himself grounded. Okay, just calm down. He could explain himself if he just got over it and calmed down. It really didn't have to be as hard as he was unintentionally making it, but it seemed that it was just getting worse. Well, his lack of proper answer was the reason it was getting worse, but he couldn't help it.
And then Mudfleck had left his post to join them, and he could only look up at the tom. His nerves spiked when he brought up the curfew, and Mallowstream explained what was happening. He took an instinctive step back, knowing he wouldn't calm down if he didn't have space. Space. There was no space here, not right now. If he could just ditch the situation for a few moments to collect himself...
Before he knew it, the heterochromatic tom was darting out of camp and into the forest, honestly hoping to run off all of his anxieties. It wasn't possible, though. No, instead, he ran past his and Lionwhisker's designated meeting spot and continuing on as if he could run off his feelings.

( I'll just add Lion waiting if that's cool with you guys (´∀`σ)σ )
Lionwhisker walked back and forth with nervous steps as the meeting time between himself and Chillberry pasted by and only grew farther away with time. The toms agreed to meet the heterochromatic tom away from the camp because of all the recent panic ensuing from the threat of the four cats inside the Clan and plaguing the minds of the rest of the Clans inhabitants with paranoid thoughts; with what was happening, it would do the toms minds well to away from the mess. But, Chillberry was late and Lionwhisker was beginning to grow more and more worried. He scented the air around the clearing and couldn't smell anything, but the common smells you could catch in the middle of the forest and couldn't smell the other tom at all. Lionwhisker stopped his constant circling and turned to look back towards the direction of the camp. "Maybe I should go back.." Lionwhisker mumbled to himself and stood a moment or two in thought then began his journey back to the way he came, hoping to catch Chillberry on his way back.

Silverface - male - warrior - Attractive, short furred, grey mackerel tabby tom, with bluish-grey-rimmed hazel eyes, short legs, and pink paw pads. He is 21 moons old. Silverface is an extrovert who enjoys talking to others and thrives in interaction, but he actually has pretty low self esteem that he keeps to himself. He's not really great or terrible at anything, except for swimming, which he's pretty bad at. (Moonshine2222)

Mudfleck listened intently as Mallowstem explained what was happening. A deep frown on his face. Eyeing Chilberry with undisguised suspicion. The young warrior didn't seem like the 'evil' type to Mudfleck. He was too jumpy. Maybe there's a possibility he's telling the truth. But if he was, why'd he look so guilty. But before he could open his maw to say anything, Chillberry had taken off through the camp entrance.
With a frustrated hiss, the Maine Coon signaled with his tail to Mallowstream, "Come on before he gets away!" What a night this was for post guarding! Without waiting for his clanmate, Mudfleck took off after Chillberry. New adrenaline and rage urging him to run faster. Chillberry's white and tabby frame just a few fox-lengths ahead of them. If this mouse-brain really is apart of the prophecy, what makes him think running can save him for what's coming next? And where would he run to? If he came back, he would be caught and punished. Chillberry'd better be praying to StarClan that he makes it past the scentlines soon. Mudfleck thought. He was getting closer to Chillberry and it wouldn't be long before they reached the border.
WIth a grunt Mudfleck quickened his pace, long legs eating the distance between him and his fleeing clanmate. When he was close enough, the brown tom launched himself at Chillberry. Landing squarely onto the smaller cat's haunches, bringing him down to the ground, sinking his claws into his shoulders. "Not so fast now are we?"

Mallowstem watched Mudfleck closely, seeing some conflict in his gaze. She could relate; she'd never have guessed Chillberry would be one of those with evil intentions...
"He's--" she started, shocked as she whirled around at Mudfleck's signal. Chillberry was gone. "Coward!" she spat, gritting her teeth. This just confirmed it in her eyes: Chillberry was one of the four. Only the guilty ran.
"We have to find the cat he was going to meet, too," Mallowstem hissed to Mudfleck as she bounded close by the tomcat. "We can lure--whoever it is--with Chillberry." She skidded to a halt, eyes flashing with approval as she saw Mudfleck crash into Chillberry.
"I've got the other cat," she promised to Mudfleck, beginning to eye their surroundings--but she could see no cat in this darkness. "Call them!" she growled to Chillberry. Surely they were out here somewhere--and they wouldn't leave their accomplice alone.

"Huh," Leaf breathed in wonder. Grasspaw's passion towards the warrior code piqued her interest - was it truly that wonderful? That exciting? She could almost taste it on her tongue - warrior. It sounded noble, almost. Something stirred in her - curiosity? Determination? She still didn't truly grasp what a warrior was, but still.
Thrushface's words whirled in her head. Joining the clan - and being accepted as one of their own - it seems like such a real possibility now.
Then she saw the cedar ahead. "We're here!" she yelled in excitement, breaking into a run. "Ashy! Ashy!" She was met with a shuddering cough. "Ashy?" Lear peeked over the roots shielding her father from the elements. Her heart dropped. "Ashy!
He looked horrible, eyes glassy, nose running, breathing harsh and shallow, his flanks heaving and shuddering with the effort. Hearing her voice, Ashy looked up. "Leaf?" he wheezed, his eyes looking so hopeful she could feel her heart twist in her chest.
"He's - he's here!" Leaf yowled to the clan cats, her voice panicked. "Hurry!"

Thrushface's heart jolted at Leaf's sudden cry. She urged herself to follow at Leaf's rapid pace, her tail still draped across Deadeye's flank. "Coming!" she assured Leaf, as if the sound of the three Clan cats crashing through the undergrowth wasn't enough.
While catching her breath, Thrushface approached the cedar's roots--craning her neck to get a better view of the tomcat within its shelter. "Oh--oh no," she murmured, arriving just in time to hear his wheezing inquiry. "This is bad."
Biting her lip, the large warrior nudged Deadeye, then glanced back to Leaf. "It looks like only our medicine cats can help him now. I don't want to leave a..." She lowered her voice. "...a cat in his condition alone on our territory. Between the four of us, though, I think we can take turns supporting him till we return to camp." Her eyes darted back to Ashy, concerned. They could technically bring the medicine cats to this spot, but Ashy's condition seemed time-sensitive. And their herbs were all in camp.
And we can't be sure anyone would be willing to help a strange cat on our territory anyways, Thrushface couldn't help but think.
"Hello," she mewed amiably to Ashy. "My name is Thrushface. These are my Clanmates, Grasspaw and Deadeye." She indicated to her friends with her tail-tip. "We come from VerdantClan--and if you think you can make it, we'd like to bring you to our healers." She glanced around for Grasspaw's mouse. "We have some prey, too--it would help you to gain some strength before we head to camp."

Quickly, he turned to ThrushFace and DeadEye and mewed "Is it White or Green Cough?" he mewed with an extremely worried look on his face twitching his tail with nervous ness

A shudder of...something strange...passed through the skinny tabby loner. Pia almost felt like she should bite herself or something, just to snap out of it. Was that compassion she felt toward her half-brother? Oh, fox-dung. How could she hate Turner so fervently when he looked so pathetic?
Stiffly, Pia rose, approaching her brother. "It's okay," she mewed, repulsed by her soothing tone. "He would have found out eventually. And you can't turn back time, so now you gotta roll with the punches. Make the best of your relationship with this kid--looks like he's gonna need the support." She glanced over at the defeated Oakkit, feeling a little pity toward the kit.
--
Mottlepaw sprang to his paws just as Oakkit's haunches hit the floor. "It doesn't matter," the apprentice insisted vehemently, his eyes blazing in a rare moment of... anger. "Oakkit, what other cats say--that's nothing. Kittypets have become warriors before! It's not about your--your blood; it's about your heart. And you've got the heart of a great warrior." ...What was this? Coming from Pia of all cats Turner had no idea what this sort of compassion was. Was this some sort of trick of hers to make him feel comfortable around her before she turned on him? Turner honestly wouldn't put it past his half-sister, but something about all of this made him believe that she was actually being genuine toward him right now. This was what he needed right now, so he was going to take it.
Turner nodded slowly, actually finding himself enjoying Pia's affection. "I will, don't worry. I'm going to be there for him no matter what." And that was the complete truth. "But he also needs his mother." Before Oakkit could have his mother with him, they needed to find her.
A snort from none other than Ma grabbed Turner's attention. "If only you two could always be this way," she grumbled. Ma stiffly got to her paws and shook out her pelt. "I had Morgan come by earlier today. You remember him, right? From my last litter. Said a new cat moved next door. Think he said it was a gray tabby." Might as well let them know that now since they seemed to all be getting along now and had once again mentioned finding Squirrelpelt.
Was that anger in Mottlepaw's eyes? Oakkit had never seen that emotion there before.
The brown tabby watched and listened to Mottlepaw intently. He was making a very moving speech, and Oakkit found himself regaining his happy-go-lucky nature. His friend was right - it didn't matter if some of his blood came from outside the Clan, what mattered was that he was a Clan cat and proved it in his own way. He was a Clan cat through and through. "You're right, Mottlestar. I'll prove just how great I am!"
His attention turned away from the apprentice when Ma spoke up. A gray tabby? That sounded like Squirrelpelt! "That's her! It's gotta be Squirrelpelt!" He exclaimed, fur puffing out in excitement.

[Could you guys tell me whats going on? I'm kinda lost lol] ((sure! so from what i've gathered, so far the clan cats have been told of the prophecy - one that warns of traitors amongst their midst. so far the prophecy has already taken its toll: one of the cats, chillberry, has been suspected of being one of the four evil cats, mudfleck and mallowstem confronting him. another sideplot is the tale of oakkit's mother, squirrelpelt; earlier in the rp she had been captured by twolegs, and so oakkit and his friend mottlepaw have ventured out to find her. in doing so they meet pia, ma, and oakkit's father, turner. another thing that's happening is that thrushface, deadeye, and grasspaw are helping leaf, a loner, save her sick dad. i think those are the major things at the moment.))

Ashy blinked up at the new cats. "Leaf?" he said, voice hoarse but delighted, "are these new friends? C'mon you gotta -" he coughed - "introduce me!"
"Ash, they're here to help, please, stand up," Leaf begged.
"Oh, yes, of course, it would be rather - cough - rude of me to try making conversation lying down," Ashy said good-naturedly, whiskers twitching as his limbs shifted, trying to push himself up. Leaf pressed herself against his side to help him to a sitting position. Ashy swayed, blinking. "My head's spinning," he said mildly.
"Yes, yes, come on, eat," Leaf insisted, pushing the mouse towards Ashy. Ashy blinked down at the food, then back at Leaf.
"Leaf, it'd be rude to eat in front of our guests." His weak voice nearly died out at the end of the statement, and he turned his head as a coughing fit wracked his frame.
"You need to eat so that you have enough energy to get to their camp. It'll help, I promise," Leaf said. "Didn't you hear them?"
Ashy's ear twitched. "I haven't gone deaf yet," he said jokingly. "I'm not that old, am I?"
"You won't get old if you don't eat right now!" Leaf yelled in a fit of frustration that she couldn't hold back.
Silence. Ashy stared. Leaf, horrified, stammered apologies. "Er. Yes. Eat," Ashy murmured, ducking his head to nibble at the mouse. He blinked at Grasspaw. "Thank you, little one."
Leaf heaved a relieved sigh, but still felt restless and impatient as Ashy swallowed down the meal. "You good?" she said once he's done and licking his lips.
"I'm all set," Ashy said rather proudly as he stood up unsteadily, legs wobbling.
"Okay, we've got you," Leaf said, at his side at once. She nodded to the clan cats. "Lead the way."
