Your paws ache as you haul yourself up rocky terrain, but you don't mind it. It's better than walking on the burning sands on the beach, that's for sure. You sigh a breath of relief as you spot a small, grassy meadow. A small purr escapes your throat you pad along the lush and cool mountain grass. You can't help but feel as if you belong here, living along side the mountain in peace. As the sun warms your pelt, you can't help but start to dose off.

"Hey, wake up." A voice mews, prodding you in the side. Your eyes grow wide as you are surrounded by a patrol of cats. A sleek, silver and white furred she-cat stands in front of you."Silverstar, what should we do?" Chimes in a smaller cat, just a little larger than a kit. The cat is quickly silenced by an older cat, his hostile eyes watching you. " It's simple." Silverstar starts off, looking down at you." This cat can either join us, or leave the mountains." Her eyes narrowed slightly. " So, what do you want to do?" She asked, authority in her voice. Perhaps this could be the start of a new life for you. So what will you do? Will you join, or leave the mountains?

 ✣ Literacy ✣ First of all, no txt tlk! Secondly, please avoid writing 1 liners. I can't reply to 1 liners, they aren't descriptive, nor are they informative of what your cat is doing. Please understand these  and try your best to reply with correct punctuation and spelling. It's okay if you mess up! All I expect is your best!

✣ Activity ✣ Please be active at least 2-3 times a week, and by that i mean rping. I love to chat with everyone, but this clan is for RPing so please at least RP once in a while everytime you are here. If you don't feel included enough then go ahead and tell me and I will do my best to help you get into the RPing action! Those who are not active for over 2 weeks will be deleted. Please tell me if you're going to be absent, or if you wish to leave the roleplay. Do not join and never come back because I don't want to waste my time adding you.

✣ Characters ✣ I have no problem with have characters in an rp that are Handsome, beautiful, pretty, ect., what I do have a problem with is when they HAVE NO FLAWS. If you need ideas for your characters don't be afraid to ask! ^u^ I don't have a cat limit, but please only make a amount you can handle. You aren't expected to rp all of your characters at once either, especially StarClan cats. So don't worry if you don't touch a character for a while. All i ask is that you remember you have them. Keep the Genders even! If you make a she-cat or a tom, be wary of the Gender ratio first. No joining as queens or as an orphaned kit! However, if you're willing to set up a plot to find your kit, i'm willing to let this slide!

✣ Powerplay ✣ No godmodding or spotlighting! It's bland and boring. This includes cat killing, you cannot kill a cat without permission! Also, no auto dodges, or auto hits. Be realistic with fight scenes! Your cat will not come out of battle unscathed. The cats in the books have only ever chased out predatory animals! So don't have your character killing foxes or badgers!

✣ Respect ✣ I won't tolerate any from of bullying or disrespecting to another member! I don't want this to get deleted as I and a few others put a lot of effort into this clan, and if you do have beef and not chicken with someone, take it away from here, please.

✣ No Kit____ing ✣ If you try to do any Kit___ing, i will ignore you, if you try multiple times, i believe i have the right to report you for spam. Kit-STEALING can be okay if used in this rp for plot advancement and if the respective parties are okay with it.

✣ Spam ✣  I do not want anyone advertising anything here, unless you are a member and you've asked me personally. However, saying "___ come back to ___clan" is fine! 

✣ Plot ✣  Don't try to make a large scale plot without my confirmation. I like getting in on plot planning too! However, small plots like taking down an eagle, or forbidden romance do not require permission! Unless it reaches a more serious state.

✣ Realism ✣ I don't want cats with pink fur and hair covering an eye. This goes with names too. This clan is going to be situated in a Mountainous area so names like Dragonwish or Pegasusfur will not be accepted! HOWEVER, I like the idea of cats with unusual EYE COLOURS! So cats with purple eyes, or red eyes, are totally fine! just not cats with black or white eyes. That idea is just scary.

✣ Positions ✣ For this RP, it will be like the books, where the Leader will choose apprentice names, and Medicine cats will choose Medicine cat apprentice names. Cats can only make name suggestions with good reason! ex. Wishwhisper in honor of Whispersong. Also, just like the clans, when the leader dies, the deputy must be prepared to become leader. Same for Medicine Cats. I want this clan to revolve around the realism that is in Warriors. PLEASE ALSO LET ME KNOW WHEN YOU WANT YOUR APPRENTICE TO BE MADE A WARRIOR. Because I do not want to be the one in charge of your character for those types of things, and it'd be bad if i randomly decided your character is a warrior when you didn't want them to be, you know?

The cats of AetherClan posses an air of gracefulness. They protect one another and stand together against any of the odds, always coming out as stronger in the end. However, there is no specific word to describe these cats as a complete whole as they are different and unique in their own special ways. Considering the territory of the clan, cats here generally have dull coloured pelts as brighter coloured ones would give the cats here a disadvantage against their surroundings when it comes to hunting or tracking. It's not surprising here that the cats have hardened paw pads from living on their rocky terrain of a territory for so long. Though there are the few unfortunates who are still soft-pawed.

- - P R O C E S S I N G - -

 ✣  ✣

AetherClan's territory is based in a mountainous region with a valley at the very center of it. There are a few rivers and streams that run through the territory. AetherClan camp is based in the mountainous portion of the territory, where all of the mountains seem to lie next to one another in a fairly straight line. There is an ocean that lies at the left border of AetherClan territory and juts in near the very bottom of it. Tides here can be rough, or soft enough to swim in.

{ The Forest } - - Is a thickset forest full of deciduous trees and coniferous. it lies at the left edge of AetherClan territory, just before the Snowed Peak. A heavy amount of prey is found here.

{ The Valley } - - Is a lush, rolling hills valley in the dead center of AetherClan territory. A lot of greenery is found here and in the very center there is a small pool of water with an island.

{ Bright Meadow } - - Is a large colourful expanse of meadow just beside the forest that borders Brineclan and bellow the valley near the ocean. The occasional rabbit runs through here and most of the herbs are found here. Cats who often want to frolic here aren't really judged as it is the most colourful thing on the territory.

{ Blossom Tree } - - In the middle of the valley's island there is a tall standing, cherry blossom tree that blooms it's pink petals in late newleaf. it's often that mates can be seen here to view the beautiful scenery it provides.

{ Shell Rock } - - A large, rock like structure in the shape of a shell for which it was named. It is on a cliff near the ocean that borders AetherClan's edge. It is apparent that mates often come here when their time allows them to as it overlooks the ocean at sunset. 

{ Newleaf Twolegplace } - - A small, traditional, fenced-in cottage at the very edge of AetherClan facing the ocean. This place is only a threat to be around during Newleaf and sometimes Greenleaf. During these times all clan cats are ordered to stay away from here. There is a thunderpath to allow arrival and exit of twolegs during Newleaf.

{ The thunderpath } - - A cemented, paved road that reeks of tar and burned rubber during Newleaf. It is usually unused unless the season is Newleaf and sometimes Greenleaf. Cats are highly suggested to never come here during Greenleaf as the road can easily burn paw pads if the weather is hot enough.

{ Snowed Peak } - - Is a the tallest mountain in AetherClan territory and it sits at the furthest edge of the territory corner to the right. The trek here is hard, and apprentice's may never come here alone without a warrior or the leader.

{ Starry Cavern } - - There is a dark and dusky cave at the foot of the Snowed Peak mountain, the tallest mountain in the region. When one looks straight into the cave, it's pitch black and it is hard to tell what is where. Only cats who have been here a few times are familiar to the cave and know that there is a small, tunnel like pathway, small enough for cats to fit into. It seems to stretch on forever before light appears at the end and one emerges from the encasing tunnel at last. Once out, it becomes a stony pathway to the willow tree on an island in the very middle of the cave, it is still dark, but for some reason the shallow, crystal clear water surrounding the pathway and willow island seems to glow a soft shade of aqua. At the end of the dry pathway is the hollowed out willow tree and that is where the cats need to step inside in order to get to the opal. It is only when the moon is at its highest that the sunset opal will light up to its brilliant sunset shade and this is when the cats need to press their noses to it. The sunset opal is hit by the moon light in the opening of the cave ceiling, just above the willow tree. This is where the clan cats come to share tongues with StarClan.

Camp is situated in a cave at the very top of the shortest mountain in the region. The cave entrance is covered by a small waterfall, so there is a path just out of the water's reach to allow exit and entrance of the camp. Large rocks are at the entrance of camp to keep wind and water out as a source of protection.

{ Leader's den } - - A cave just a fox length off the ground, there is a series of large, step like rocks that allow for easier access than leaping. It is the closest den to the entrance. Has a downwards tunnel that leads into the Medicine cat den. The leader and Medicine cat usually talk in private here.  Just outside the den is where the leader calls clan meetings.

{ Deputy's rock } - - A smooth stone with scratch marks on it's surface. Is located right at the foot of the leader's den by the 'stairs', the latter of which is above the ground level. This is where the Deputy sleeps and arranges patrols.

{ Medicine Cat's den } - - A cave just little ways away from the elders den and nursery. There are small holes in the walls that allow for easy storage as well as rocks to keep herbs under. Has a upwards tunnel that leads into the Leader's den. The leader and Medicine cat usually talk in private here.

{ Nursery } - - A cave that is beside the Medicine Cat den. The cave flooring is lined with moss and feathers for safety and nurturing.

{ Elders den } - - A cave just beside the Nursery, fairly small but can hold several cats.

{ Warriors area } - -The warriors sleep out in the open of the large cave they call camp. Their nests are small divots in the cave that are filled with moss and feathers for warmth and comfort.

{ Apprentice's area } - - The apprentices also sleep out in the open of the large cave they call camp. Their nests are small divots that are filled with moss and feathers for warmth and comfort. They sleep beside the Warriors Area, in the corner of the cave.

_{A large, muscled, brawny tom with a fierce demeanor. His dark brown tabby fur is battle scarred every which way, adding to his gruff appearance. Half of his left ear is missing and he has a black muzzle. One of his two amber eyes is scarred and rendered useless after a fight between BrineClan and AetherClan. This tom was a ferocious leader with ambitious ideals for his clan. He was, however, smart about his goals for AetherClan and never made a decision without his clan's input in what they would do. He was a very respectable leader that was cunning and a strong fighter, still, he ended up dying earlier than he should have because he used his powers as leader too much, putting a harsh strain on his body.}

_{A long-legged, wiry, golden she-cat with fluffy, long fur covered in dapples of browns and blacks. Her eyes are a piercing pale pink. She has a white throat and tail tip, as well as white left front paw. Dappledsky is a stern she-cat with simple ideals. She is smart, strategic and fast. Her swift reactions and smart thinking got her to where she is. This she-cat is more brains than she is brawn, but this is why almost every cat in the clan respects her. With her quick responses and fast actions, it's easy to see why she was made deputy. She can be quite fun when she's in the mood, and oddly playful. She was killed in the battle with mountain lions by a hard blow to the head.}
