9 Lives- A Forum Game/RPG [Fin]

Wolfstorm flicked his remaining ear towards the wolf as he padded over to Shade and Tawnyfur.

Clarity rolled her eyes. "I can believe that and you probably are monster too." She continued, standing from where she was. "Lets be honest here, I doubt a little shade throwing is getting her in that way. What did you do, backstab a player this early in the "game"?" She asked holding back a chuckle. For all she knew Holly was a bit of a prickly cactus so whatever that mutt did must have been interestingly cruel.

"You don't know if this is merely survival of the fittest or not... The only ones who would understand what lies ahead in this game are those that have been before us, which is Ilex and Tawnyfur." Wolfstorm murmured.

"Well then its better to fit in a group mentality if its so easy to rile up a crowd." Clarity shrugged. "If you go agianst the tide for so long you'll eventually get swept away." Her last line had a bit of an edge to her voice. She'd have enough of this survival nonsense back home. Plus with all this peace stuff she's spouting it would be hypocritical if she spat fire at Shadow's eyes.

"Yeah, have to agree with him. This game is rigged for the cowardly and cold, if anything this game is a waste of time and space unless your willing to tell us more." Clarity grumbled, displeased with what these shadow cats have to say.

"Allie didn't you say it was so Purity wouldn't take over all of our worlds?" Shadow asked.

"Purity took their world away!" Ilex butted in, her sure remaining dark, "I saw it in my vision before I died, that was you two, wasn't it?" Ilex asked, toward Allie and Emigo.

"Yes. And as for the Nix... their 'solution' is to consume another world's existence for ours to come back. And Purity won't be stopped that way," Allie explains quietly.

"So what? I don't care if you want to or not. This is beyond your pathetic little goals. I expected you to see the bigger picture. To see that I had a plan to save my world and everyone else's from the wrath of Purity and the hunger of Nix. But I've miscalculated. We shall end this game!" Emigo screeches as his eyes turn white. His entire form shifts until he is many times larger than his cat form. Wings sprout from his back and his bird-like feet push off the ground.

Only a single shadowy feather is left behind.

All three doors say 0.

The Spirits would not allow it... According to legend, some seem too busy to destroy it themselves... But that is mere legend meant to scare those from Death...

"This game has been played many times yes, then how come you have not seemed to make any progress?" Wolfstorm asked, his voice still laced in anger.

"Shadow, don't turn your backs on us, or try to turn them on me, and maybe we can work something out," Ilex growled and nodded, "We have to do this together, Allie, will you help us?" she asked, tipping her head gently.

"Or better yet..." Ilex looked back, "We can try and lure Purity here!" Ilex quickly flew up with her wings, and her eyes and fur still that of a nix like creature.

"I assume we now have to tackle upon that shadowy bird now...." Wolfstorm grumbled.

"Or do whatever Ilex is trying to do... I can't fly or do anything out of the ordinary..." He muttered.

"No!" Ilex screeched, and growls, trying to move the shadows.

"Alright!" Ilex teleports away, into the library, and grabs at the plushies, teleporting back after getting them, "Here!" she says, her eyes still white.

That fiflthy turtle shelled scoundrel! Clarity was seething with utter rage. "Fine, what now? Hold paws and face Purity?" The dragon grumbled trying to get over the sudden reveals by the game makers.
