(True, except Ilex is...smart and she acts so gentle.
She's not.
She knows how others can be, and has a hard time trusting them.
She saw the cat clawmarks in his face, and that's where most her doubt came in, because she's never heard or seen a nix in cat form. Yet what else confirmed her doubts was the fact they claimed it a was a dragon.
Also, whenever she gave her choice, silence or explain, Wolf remained silent.
Shadow didn't explain.
Does that make sense?)

There are others here this time... I find it doubtful that Shadow could defeat a dragon, and that is hopefully if Clarity shows up... I need to stall this a while longer. "It was a Nix, Ilex. Whether or not it was two I do not know, I did not get a clear look the first time. It merely spoke of wanting to kill me, I used all my strength getting away and slamming into the statue, in the maze..." He murmured. |

Shadow gave Ilex a puzzled look. "You did say there were Nixs here so why are you doubt us? After all, you were here longer than us. As for me, I have lived longer than you have and ever will. I know this place is dark. Yet, Purity was here before wasn't she?" He said, knowing that he knew of Purity would throw her off. "She left you here because you are dark and you have evil within you." |

Ilex glared at Shadow, tuning out Wolfstorm. She closed her eyes, and gave off a sigh. "I have not killed anyone," she whispered, keeping her eyes closed. Around her more shadows gathered, twirling at her paws gently, slightly and calmly. A large, dark grin appeared on her face, baring her fangs and unsheathing her claws. She opened her eyes now, they were a glowing white, with a bright blue pupil, and at this time, the shadows raced up her paws, staining them a dark grey color.
"Yet."
(Okay, so we get Ilex in nightshade form. She's basically figured this out.
Mostly, but now she's simply ticked off, she hates the claims of being evil. That's mostly the fuel for this.)

Ilex let off a growl, her fur was completely grey, silver and black now, with wisps of shadows near the edges. "Is this your game? How did you get Wolfstorm to stay quite about this all, I mean, is he a coward too? Or is it just you?" she asked, and closed her eyes, fueled by anger, she teleported behind Shadow, silently wisping past and reforming. "I suspected you hurt Wolfstorm yourself, but were too cowardice to admit it. Maybe a nix did it, that's true. But why are you so touchy then, so...determined to make me believe it." she let off a snicker, "Is it because your scared of me? Is it because I am more experienced?" she continued, "Because I have the will, and you don't?" (She might be a little nuts. She's mad though, I can't blame her.) (EDIT: Dang typos.) (EDIT: Explaining this. ) (It might seem far-fetched she would figure it out. But...not only is she smart, she is deceiving. She knows these tactics, and the attempts to make her believe, the over use, she cornered them with her own ways, mostly, forcing them to try and explain the nix.
At first Wolf was silent.
Shadow changes the subject.
Wolf claims it was two nix, while Shadow claimed it was a dragon nix.
Bam, the main reason, it says she ignored Wolf, she simply ignored it as in, she didn't respond after hearing it, fueled by rage at the mention of purity.

In depth:
Ilex comes back, sees Wolfstorm missing an ear, and pretty much Shadow all calm about it, only slightly injured.
Ilex questions it, and the story starts...changing a tiny bit, first a nix, second a dragon nix, and cat claws on Shadow's face, who was the only cat they mentioned, Wolfstorm.
Wolfstorm is silent at first.
Shadow prods her about Purity, fueling her anger toward Purity, the real thing she seeks revenge on.
Shadow changing the subject.
Wolfstorm claiming 2+ nix.
The additional story change because of that.
Ilex had a past, she used similar tactics as Shadow to steal prey and get away with it. Her parents were similar. She has a background of lies.) |

Shadow laughed. "Oh, little one. You have no clue and you could never defeat me."
Darkness began to form and the room became as cold as ice. Shadow laughed and he was covered in shadows before they disappeared. He was gone and behind Wolfstorm, in that instant. He looked down at him.
"You have two choices, stick with me or die by her claws." He told Wolfstorm. "She wants a fight and would gladly use you as a shield. I knew she was evil from the start and was playing games with all of us!" He announced to everyone in the room.

Shade's eyes narrowed. He didn't trust Ilex, but he didn't trust Shadow either. He had learned never to trust anyone, not even close family.

He had seen what Shadow could do, someone would die. And he was certainly not getting caught in the cross-fire.

"I would never use him as a shield!" Ilex said, and flew towards them. "Wolfstorm, get away from him!" she ordered. "Shade, keep Tawnyfur safe!" she warned. She flew down, and looked at Shadow, "We can settle this now. Either way your dead. You see
Purity kills all evil, right?" she said and sat, smirking still, "That means if you did try and kill Wolfstorm, when voting occurs, you will be betrayed, and your band will read 1, and then the next round 0, and poof, you fade away. She does it to the half-nix too. I plan to handle her myself, but maybe I should let her handle you first." she added. "But if you did hurt Wolfstorm, I can't let you remain here." she said, and formed a shadow shield not around herself, but Wolfstorm, to protect him from Shadow.
