Emigo hissed as he was tackled to the ground. His eyes flashed white for a second before Allie rammed into Ashpaw. He managed to wriggle free and jumped back. "Fine! Try to kill us! See where that gets you!"
"Emigo, stop!" Allie yowled. Emigo shook his head and sighed.
"Fine. I may transfer a few points. But this will create chaos next round."

"Well-" Emigo glances at Allie, who is giving him a glare. He coughs. "It'll just not show who is against who in voting. Nothing else. You all will not be in the next round... I think. You happy, Allie?"
Allie purrs. "There you go. I'll just transfer some points over so one other cat can get to 9!"

"Well, you won't be able to come back if you stay. Simple as that. It'll be like that either way. The point is, Allie will let another cat go free, and the voting will be unusual as 'payment.' That is all," Emigo meows.
(Well, characters from last round CAN be brought back, but Emigo doesn't know that.)

"I- I can give up as many points as I need to save two others." She had nine, so- She could save any two without all 9 points in any combination other than the two cats with 5 points. Or either of the cats with 5 points and the one with 6.

"No- I... I am going to save Heavystrike and..." Socks had felt too guilty that she betrayed Heavystrike, if she didn't then he would have been able to make it. And now she had to decide between saving Ilex or Larkwing or even Bramblewish. One way she would die, but the two other she would still be alive- barely. With one point.

Heavystrike and Larkwing are at 9.
"And that ends the point calculations. We hope the victors will be well." The two disappear in a burst of shadow, leaving the group to their own devices... and a number 9 door.

Ilex growls into the air her voice raised loud, her pitch wild, "Come back you cowards, let them go! They have families, they have lives, let THEM GO!" she yelled, thrashing her tail as she did so. "I don't want to be stuck in here and others die so please..." she whispered, her ears flattening and her gaze trailing the ground.
