Emigo waves his tail at the massive door labeled 9. "That door, the exit, lets those with the corresponding number or greater through. However, it will only open once. So if any of you leave, that will be the only time you can leave. You also have the option of waiting for others to reach 9, letting more escape."
"Now to get the doors ready!" Allie chirps. The three smaller doors hum, and all display the same number.

"That's... Is it really the best we can do this round?" Allie makes a screen appear and taps on it frantically. Nothing happens. "Then... this is the last round. All bracelet totals are final."

"The doors simply cannot work now. Even I couldn't open them if I tried. Therefore, those who can must exit through Door 9," Emigo meows. His blue eyes gleam. "Or would some of you rather be stuck here?"

Larkwing's heart beat frantically in her chest.
