9 Lives- A Forum Game/RPG [Fin]

(Yep! I don't think I'll get to rp for much longer, sucks cuz this has been fun.)

(Kind of. The Library will eventually have hints relating to the fate of those trapped.)

Bramblewish could breathe more easily now. She was confident that her descision in the voting was a good one, for she had thought quite a lot. To survive here, she could trust no one.

Larkwing looked up from her band around her paw. She glanced across the room at Bramblewish. 'She was willing to kill both Stonestreak and me, while we were willing to help her.' She thought angrily.
The brown she-cat glanced at the stone tablet, so few agreed with her while everyone else was willing to kill strangers, some who had even helped on Trials to save their own pelts.

"Now that voting is over, I will unlock the doors." Emigo waves his tail, and new numbers appear on the three trial doors: 6, 3, and 4.

"Wait a sec!" Allie rushes into the room. She narrows her eyes. "Emigo, this isn't fair! Only two of them can win!"

Emigo tilts his head. "So? What are you going to do about it?"

"I'm gonna... um..." She thinks for a moment. "Put a special statue somewhere! It'll help everyone out!"

Emigo sighs. "Very well. It won't help much, but it'll give some more cats a chance to get out. As for the low-number cats... I'll give more support to you if you choose to listen, but be prepared for the consequences. I'll be in the Library if you want to take my offer."

Bramblewish knew that she was lucky. She was aware that that she had six points, and as soon as the new that two cats would win reached her ears, she almost jumped. Two cats? Her six points would make her more likely to win, but it was dependent on her skills and how she faced each situation to come. Calculating the probability quickly, she looks at the others for a moment.

Bramblewish headed over to the door labelled 3, hoping that something good would come with it or at least something not too bad. Sighing, she stopped by it.

'Two cats live? Surely there's a way around this! Why are we even here if only two could live?'
Larkwing shook her head.
'I shouldn't be thinking about this right now, I have Trials to go through...'
She glanced at the sixth door.
'I'd love to journey with Socks again, but that number gives a higher opportunity to be put in with someone who'd rather save their own pelt.'
She glanced at the third door, amber eyes flaring.
'I'm not going with her, either...'
"Fourth door, it is..." Larkwing meowed, padding over the to the remaining door.

The scent of twolegs and their monsters is strong in Door 4. More cats are free to join.

Bramblewish breathed in the air for a moment, then looked back before padding onwards. She didn't want to go with anyone else, and she figured this could be handled with one cat anyways.

Brindlemask was shocked, but glad that she hadn't chosen to Ally. She walked over to the Library to see what Emigo had to offer.

Lark misswarriors

"So you came. I expected you to come." Emigo sits on the empty table. "After all, you are among the ones closest to death- Heavystrike especially. So, let's not waste any more time. My offer will give you 5 points- possibly six, if Allie's statue is never broken. You must find a single statue behind Door 6. It glows with a blue light. While this may save you, only one cat may use it- and be prepared for the consequences of your actions. They will become apparent once the statue breaks."

Inside the door is a rocky cave. Water drips from the ceiling. The rock-lined shore is drenched with sea water. There are two apparent paths.

To get to the other side of the cave, she can go across the slippery rocks that line the walls, and pray she doesn't fall in.

Alternatively, a tunnel exists in the cave wall.

Door 4 leads to a twoleplace. It is strangely devoid of twolegs, yet monsters prowl the thunderpaths. They dash across the black paths, although they don't notice the new cat.
