anathemaIf you want to post descriptions, we can. And, the werewolves I had in mind is a person who can take both a quadropedal and bipedal wolf form. That okay?

Mercury Grant Holland [ X ] - [ X ] - [ X ]
-
Mercury is one of those kinds of people that are difficult to read, difficult to predict. He has so many layers that depict him as different things both physically and mentally. Quite simply, Mercury is a mystery. He’s practically of average height, being 5’9”; not too short, not too tall. He has a lean build with a thin frame, and although it’s not excessive or prominent, he does have just a tad bit of a muscular build to him as well; mostly in his upper half in his biceps. He has a light, ivory complexion despite being a very outdoorsy person. He just always assumed he was one of those people that never really got tan during the summer months. Though, it is a bit disheartening as it would be a bit nice to get some color on his skin that isn’t pale; but, no such luck. He has plump lips that are a bit of a lighter shade of red and pink mixed together, and are usually pressed together firmly with the corners slightly tugging down in a frown. He has almond shaped, piercing grey-blue eyes framed by dark lashes. Above those striking eyes are thick, dark eyebrows that are usually furrowed to compliment the frown that almost permanently stays on his features. He has an angular face shape with prominent cheekbones and a defined jawline. Not important, but he also has stretched earlobes in which he keeps either black plugs or black tunnels in. The final important feature this mystery boy has, is thick short black hair that is kept styled up and back in a quiff. He is typically found wearing darker shaded hues of clothing. There is no easy way to describe this puzzle of a boy, he’s quite simply hard to figure out. Mercury is a very unsociable, independent person to an extent. He doesn’t usually strike up conversations first, he doesn’t usually carry them along unless the person is determined to get him to talk, and when he does speaks, he answers as shortly and as bluntly as he could possibly make his words. He’s sort of rude, but it’s mostly a front. He’s not a straight up douchebag, but he just doesn’t take well to small talk, much less with people he doesn’t know. Okay, to be genuine, he doesn’t necessarily mean to be this way, he’s just not very good at being friendly. He’s almost awkward when it comes to talking. Now, if you manage to get past his shortness and rudeness and actually befriend him, a completely different side of him is exposed. Though, he still carries the trait of not being talkative, he is a lot more kinder and more caring towards the ones he considers friends; he’s definitely more likely to start up a conversation and wonder about them. Though, he does portray an unfriendly person that just scowls all the time, which is partly the truth for his personality, he doesn’t usually portray his sweet side physically. Getting him to smile or laugh is a challenge and his usual melancholy expression tends to dull up the mood in a room quickly.
When Mercury transforms into his canine form, he stands tall in both wolf forms. He has the same almond-shaped grey-blue eyes that are just as piercing as they are in his human form; it's practically the only distinguishing feature of who he is. He has thick, short fur that is jet black and covers the hidden strengthened muscles underneath.

anathema (Eek I feel like this could've come out better, but I'm not the best with character descriptions. I hope it's okay though!)
Jeremiah "Jerry" GaleHe isn't one of the tallest men around, but his 5'7 height isn't too bad. His figure isn't muscular, but he can be considered a little lean. Jerry's hair is an ivory black color, and long so that it goes down past his shoulders. Usually, he'll keep his hair in a bun or ponytail. And, to complement the dark hair, are a pair of light blue, doe eyes that always seem to have a friendly, even playful look in them. And his eyes are given long black lashes. His facial features are gentle and rounded, giving an almost innocent look to him. His skin is a soft white, and porcelain in feel. Almost entirely free of flaws except for his left arm. He refuses to say what did it to him, half because he thinks no one will believe him. His left arm, from just above the wrist and up to his shoulder, is absent in a majority of flesh and muscle. A scarred over limb that looks like the flesh was bitten from it by some sort of animal. The arm barely functions past bending, and the fingers don't move much at all, but Jerry hasn't been able to get it taken off. He keeps the damaged arm covered by gloves and longsleeves. For clothing, he'll usually wear t-shirts and jeans unless it's some sort of special occasion. That's when he'll make effort to dress nicer.
Jerry is seen by many as a puppy. He tries to be friendly to everyone, and is easily affected by whatever feedback he gets, be it good or bad. However, he has enough sense to not make his friendliness come off as annoying. If he gets attached to someone though, he will be a little more persistent in trying to make an actual friend out of them. When he is able to finally call someone a friend, he becomes a little more open. Even though he's nice to everyone, he treats strangers and friends much differently. He is much more open and playful with friends, and feels more compelled to treat them as if they were family. Jerry is still caring to everyone though, and will try to help if he can. Even if others are mean to him, he still tries to show kindness. His parents booted him out when they found out he was gay, when he was about fourteen years old, and has been on his own ever since. He currently lives in an apartment, doing decent for himself and his pet. His little companion was found as a shriveled, odd little animal in a box with five others. Taking them all in, he raised them until he was able to find out what they were. Jerry was a temporary father to six Red Ruffed Lemurs. He gave five away to the nearest zoo he could find, but kept his favorite one, a female he named Biscuit. Raising the lemurs was what turned him into the kind, friendly and caring person he is today.

Mercury loathed days like this that were so gloomy and overcast, especially when he had nothing else to do except slink around town. I mean, granted, he probably wouldn't plan to do anything extravagant even if it were sunny and super warm. That wasn't really his forte. He didn't like to be around people, but he also didn't like to sit at home in isolation with his thoughts. Although he doesn't like social interaction, he does quite enjoy the social atmosphere that takes place behind closed building doors and in air conditioning. He was a partaker in people watching, as creepy as it sounds. He's not weird, he promises. He's just a very analytical person, and watching someone's body language, the way they act, the way they react, and the way they dress can tell a lot about a person. Or at least, to Mercury anyways. That's why he was sitting indoors at a table by himself in a crowded coffee shop, cold eyes shifting slowly and inconspicuously across every being in the room. He felt a presencestir within him slightly, although not demanding. Just a reminder that it was there. He knew what it was, of course. It was the werewolf side of him that made him incredibly aware of his other form. He disregarded it though, and sat back in the plastic chair and took a deep breath, his nose filling with the strong different scents of people inside of the shop and their orders. He made a face.

(Here. It isn't the best, but that's because it's my first post of this rp, plus I'm tired rn. They'll get better as I adjust and get used to the rp and the plot)
Jerry also wasn't a fan of darker, gloomy days. He much preferred sunny days where you could easily enjoy yourself ans go where you wanted. Not that he was going to shut himself in his apartment when it wasn't an ideal day. It was just a little more difficult to be out and about when it wasn't. As he made his way down the sidewalk, he looked for a place to settle down for a little while. Even though he didn't drink it too often, something was drawing him toward a nearby coffee shop. After a moment of consideration, he moved to head over to the shop, looking around as he opened the door to head inside. Taking a look around, Jerry took in the rich scent of the store just as his friend came into view. Peeping over his shoulder was a dark, literal black face with wide yellow eyes, with a dark russet red ruffle around its head. He smiled down at Biscuit, his pet lemur, who insisted she come along with him on his daily walk. Despite the employees giving him disapproving looks, he still went to sit down. As was given a small menu to look over the selections, his attention was taken away from people and sounds around him for a few minutes. Within those few minutes, he managed to lose a certain someone. His pet had detached herself from his back, and was soon beside Mercury. And she just sat there on the floor, staring with wide yellow eyes. Animals were known for sensing things humans couldn't. Perhaps the lemur knew Mercury wasn't entirely human. Just as she began tugging on his pant leg, she was scooped up by Jerry. "Biscuit, no!" He told the lemur, who was still staring at the werewolf. "I'm sorry," he told Mercury "She usually doesn't go running off. She must like you." Realizing he was just a stranger rambling on to Mercury, he looked around with an embarrassed expression. "Um... I'll just... head back to my spot. Again, I'm really sorry." And with that, the brief meet was ended, Jerry taking his exotic pet back to where he'd been sitting, waiting for his placed order to arrive. Also, he kept an eye on his pet, who was still watching Mercury from her spot in Jerry's lap.

[Sorry my starter was so short v.v] Mercury had noticed the other boy who looked to be about the same height as him, maybe just a tad shorter, coming into the coffee shop. There wasn't a lot that he didn't notice, and the jingling of the bells hung on the handle of the door made it almost painfully obvious to his poor hypersensitive ears when someone came in or walked out. If it weren't for the bells being there, then it definitely would have been the smell. Not a bad smell, of course. Just different. Not everyday does he catch the scent of a human and an exotic animal intermingled with one another. He raised his eyebrows just slightly at the sight. Boy, this city could be quite strange sometimes. Mercury shook his head and turned his attention back to his coffee, which was once scalding but was now barely holding in any warmth. Gross. He took a small sip as a test and crinkled up his nose. Yeah, it wasn't good anymore. Only further proof that he had been sitting here watching people for way too long, and he was probably beginning to look creepy or weird to the people working behind the counter. His attention was caught once again when he felt a presence next to him and he could faintly hear the heartbeat within the creature's chest. He slid his cold blue eyes over towards the floor and made eye contact with wide, staring yellow ones. It was the lemur. Of course, just his luck. His eyes narrowed slightly as his senses become overwhelmed with the smell. The wolf within him became restless and predatory, wanting to chase and tear this little animal up which of course affected his reaction. Involuntarily a low rumble resembling a growl rose in the bottom of his throat, and his lip twitched; he had an obvious urge to snarl and bare his teeth, but he of course, restrained it. Wouldn't that be the talk of the town? Weird coffee sitter becomes animalistic towards innocent lemur bystander. He swallowed the growl in his throat and sat back in his chair as he heard the quickly approaching footsteps of the boy who was responsible for the animal. He looked up and met light blue doe eyes. "It's alright, don't sweat it. She's cute." He commented absently. "Biscuit?" He repeated curiously. "That's a.. different name for a lemur." This time there was a hint of amusement in his tone as he broke eye contact and sipped at his coffee precariously. As the other walked off to his own seat and settled down, that lemur was still staring at him. He furrowed his brows in frustration and his wolf whined within him, wanting the instincts to take over. He chewed on his bottom lip, not breaking eye contact with the lemur, now known to him as Biscuit. He had no doubt that she knew that something was different and up with him.
