Just wondering, can anyone offer up a character to be a protector? I kind of want to do a winged kit, a powered kit, someone coming to adopt a kit, and a protector.

PearlKit swatted at her brothers head. "hey! be nice, she didnt do anything to hurt us EmeraldKit" she growled. nudging him aside, she steps forward. "im sorry about him. he gets worried and protective!" she explains. EmeraldKit sat down, watching the older cat carefully. "my sister is all i have. i cant take the chance of losing her" he murmurs, pinning his ears back. "I can understand that," Stealthcreek replied empathetically. "I would never do anything to split you two up." |

EmeraldKit tilted his head, and thought about what the older cat said. the fact that she said she wouldnt split them up put him a bit more at ease, and he decided, reluctantly, to at least be more civil. PearlKit nudged her brother, and then looked at StealthCreek. "can we play moss ball?" she mewls excitedly.
BlackKit purred softly, and nodded. "id love to race!" she got to her paws, prancing around excitedly. "where are we racing to?"
AshKit, not seeing any berries, frowned, and backed out. glancing around, she sees some berries, and wanders over to investigate them, hoping that this was the right bush. |

A pretty white she-cat walked into the kit cave. She had gray dapples across her pelt that were ringed in black making her look like a snow leopard. Her brilliant blue eyes flashed with love as she saw the kits all around. "Hello?" she called quiet but traveling voice. CinderBrook |

Poppysun reached the far end of the meadow and began pulling a few poppies from the ground. As she straightened with the flowers in her mouth, she looked around for Ashkit, spotting her near a Juniper Bush. She padded calmly towards the kit.

Dovekit opened her eyes slowly and lifted her head, peering around the half empty den. She could feel her brother Smokekit pressed against her side, but Elmkit's bed was empty. She stood up carefully and nudged her brother to wake up as she made her way to the entrance of the den
Smokekit raised his head drowsily as he heard Dovekit walk past him. He sat up and yawned, then picked his way past the other cats and after his sister.
Elmkit was sitting under a drooping fern as he saw Dovekit exit the den. He purred loudly and padded over, jumping on his sisters tail just as she saw him.

"Hm... Let's back away about three tail-lengths from this puddle and then we'll race to the puddle,k?" Nagisa said and backed up. Should I go slow to let her win? Maybe...I just hope I don't slip on any water! And I hope Blackkit doesn't slip on any water too! Nagisa thought. "Alright, ready, steady, go!" Nagisa exclaimed and went running, completely forgetting to let Blackkit win. Nagisa suddenly let out a yowl as she slipped on some water and went sliding to the left.

AshKit nosed at the berries, and carefully pulls a few off. the young kit is about to go searching for PoppySun when the notices the medicine cat padding towards her. "is this it?" she mewls.
BlackKit took off as well, and avoids the water, mostly. then, when Nagisa slips and goes sliding to the left, the young kit jumps out of the way, laughing loudly. "im gonna beat ya!" she crows, as she races up to the puddle before turning to look at the older cat.

"NUUUU..." Nagisa meows and practically rolled herself to the puddle. "Yay, I won!" She exclaimed and looked up at Blackkit. "Let's just pretend that you're the one who slipped, k?" She whispered and got back up to her paws. She shook her fur, sending droplets of water onto Blackkit. "Alright, now it's your turn to choose what we do!" Nagisa said and sat down.

"Yes those are the ones," Poppysun meows softly, "collect a many as you can carry and then we'll go back to camp." Her voice sounding a but muffled by the flowers in her mouth, she waits pateintly for Ashkit to pick the berries. She suddenly remembers her promise of fresh kill, and places her bundle of flowers carefully on the ground. "Would you still like me to catch you some food?" she asks, sniffing the air for any fresh scents of prey.

BlackKit got distracted for a minute with chasing her friend's tail before realizing she had been asked to do something. "okay!" the young kit shows the older cat a very clumsy, unbalanced, sloppy crouch.

"Alright, first get down lower," Nagisa instructed, gently pushing down on Blackkit to bring her lower, "and make sure most of your weight is on your haunches." Nagisa slowly walked around Blackkit to make sure everything looked alright. "Oh and make sure that your tail is sticking straight ahead!" Nagisa added.

Flintfoot padded into the Kit Den, opening her jaws to take in the scents. It certainly smelled lively. With an interested flick of her tail, she was off to find somecat who worked there. She approached the first adult cat she saw. "Hello, I'm Flintfoot. I'm here to see Mottlekit?" She inquired, barely able to hold back a purr. She was so excited!

NightBringer dipped her head in greeting. "hello FlintFoot. i think mottlekit just woke up, she should be just over by the dens." turning to glance behind her, she points to the young kit with her tail. "there she is"
MottleKit, realizing that she has some dirt on her from her nest, growls, and sets about grooming herself. even the slightest amount of dirt would drive her crazy.

Nagisa laughed and helps Blackkit up. "Alright, you did okay, but you need to focus more!" She exclaimed. "Try again," Nagisa instructed. "And just ask me if you need help!" Nagisa added and sat down next to Blackkit. "Remember, really low to the ground, most of your weight on your haunches, and make sure your tail is sticking straight ahead!"

BlackKit laughed, and tried again, attempting to focus a bit more this time. the kit has trouble keeping her weight in her haunches, and huffs impatiently at her mistakes.

Poppysun sniffed the air, detecting a squirrel nearby. Not smelling any danger, she glanced around one last time and mewed "Stay close by, I'll be back before you can say fresh-kill." Poppysun slunk into the undergrowth, following the scent of the squirrel with quiet pawsteps. The scent got stronger and she spotted a flash of orange fur by the roots of an oak tree. Dropping into a crouch, she stalking closer, keeping her weight perfectly even and fixing her unblinking eyes on the animal. She pounced before the squirrel knew what was happening and finished it off quickly. Grabbing hold of the squirrel, she padded quickly but calmly back to the meadow, dropping the prey close to Ashkit as the kit wrapped the juniper berries in a large leaf. |
