Nagisa ran to another pile of moss and quickly made three moss balls. Hopefully they wouldn't fall apart. She carried two in her mouth and rolled one with her paw over to a boulder. She his behind the boulder and got her first moss ball ready. "Get ready to be bombarded by moss balls!" Nagisa exclaimed.

( MiNaMi) BlackKit purred, and ducked into hiding with the mossball. peeking out from behind the rock, the kit watches for a chance to lob the moss ball at Nagisa. |

Nagisa screeched a battle cry and threw the moss ball at Blackkit and then another. She scrambled out of her hiding spot and run up behind Blackkit and shot her final moss ball.

BlackKit managed to dodge the first two, and then threw her mossball at her friend. the third mossball from Nagisa, and BlackKit's moss ball collides, exploding into a shower of moss.

Poppysun walked softly into the clearing, her eyes pausing on Blackkit and Nagisa, and then continuing onto Elmkit, Smokekit, Dovekit and Snowdapple as they slept in the dying light of day. She walked to the fresh-kill pile and chose a plumb pigeon, padding over to Lightbringer and placing the prey on the ground. "Do you want to share?" she meowed.

Dovekit stirred beside her brothers, her tail flicking instinctively back and forth as she chased a mouse in her dreams.
Elmkit woke suddenly as something flicked him in the face, and he jumped up, looking around to see what had attacked him. His eyes focused on his sister's tail twitching around, and he muttered grumpily before pouncing on her tail to stop it moving.
Smokekit slept soundly, not aware of the commotion.

Elmkit woke suddenly as something flicked him in the face, and he jumped up, looking around to see what had attacked him. His eyes focused on his sister's tail twitching around, and he muttered grumpily before pouncing on her tail to stop it moving. Smokekit slept soundly, not aware of the commotion. Snowdapple stirred as she head a noise she opened her eyes to see the kits and purred. She took her paw and tried to settle Dovekit's tail and stroked Elmkit's head with her own tail. |

Surprised at the warriors affectionate gesture, Elmkit turned his head to look at her. He let go of his sisters tail and licked his chest awkwardly.
Dovekit lifted her head drowsily off the floor, narrowing her eyes at her brother and flicking her tail over he nose. She closed her eyes for a moment, enjoying the sunlight on her fur.
Smokekit got to his paws, shaking his head to clear it of sleep.

Dovekit lifted her head drowsily off the floor, narrowing her eyes at her brother and flicking her tail over he nose. She closed her eyes for a moment, enjoying the sunlight on her fur. Smokekit got to his paws, shaking his head to clear it of sleep. Snowdapple blinked slowly at the kits and quietly started to wash her paws and face. |

Elmkit straightened up, the sun shining in his eyes as he looked around. Blinking rapidly, he got to his paws and wandered around, stumbling as the sun disorientated him. He tripped over something solid and his legs gave way, his head hitting soft fur.
Dovekit yowled loudly as something heavy landed on her flank, and she rolled over so that she could get to her feet. When she realized that it was Elmkit who had fallen on her, she pounced onto his back, pinning him onto the floor.
Smokekit watched his siblings play-fighting, and excitement appeared in his eyes as drowsiness left his head. He sprinted forwards with small steps, jumping onto Elmkit's tail and purring loudly as he helped Dovekit to hold him down.
Elmkit struggled under the weight of his siblings, still a bit confused as to what was happening.

Applepelt's whiskers twitched in surprise. Thawkit was very close. "Off by one, see?" He nodded towards the entrance where a worker had returned from hunting. "But that is still very good for your first time. I couldn't do that until a moon into my training." He was very impressed, and the tom was confident that with a nurturing environment he would flourish. (I guess mine got lost in the replies haha) |

(I'm so sorry @brairfur, I must've missed it)
Dovekit sprang off her brother, bouncing around happily with her tail in the air. "I'm stronger than Elmkit, I'm stronger than Elmkit." she sang as she danced around Snowdapple.
Smokekit got more slowly off Elmkit, having enjoyed tackling him and not wanting to stop playing. He gave his brother a friendly nudge as he got to his paws, hoping that they hadn't angered him.
Elmkit got begrudgingly to his paws, muttering a few insults at his siblings. He flicked his tail over his paws and tried to regain his dignity, smoothing down his ruffled fur.

(Okay thanks for the heads up!) Applepelt stopped in front of Poppysun and nodded. "I'll have him back before too long." Glancing down at Thawkit, he offered an encouraging tail flick. "Let's see what you can do, shall we?" Thawkit nodded slowly, stumbling slightly as he set off towards the camp entrance. His eyes darted around as he walked into the forest, searching for a non-existent threat. Heart beating fast, he turned around to face Applepelt, unsure of where to go. "Oh I think you are all equally strong in your own way." Snowdapple purred. Smokekit pranced after his sister, almost falling over when she suddenly stopped. His nose bumped against her flank and he sat back on his haunches. "Why'd you stop?" He twitched his whiskers uncomfortably. Dovekit barely heard her brother, instead she focused on Elmkit. A butterfly had flown into camp and it seems had briefly set up residence on his head. Pointing with her tail, she directed Snowdapple's and Smokekit's attention towards it. Smokekit gazed at the cats quizzingly as he tried to figure out why they were staring at him. "What's wrong?" he asked, panic edging it's way into his voice. |

Applepelt could smell Thawkit's nervousness. He remembered how nervous he'd been the first time he left the camp. Picking up the pace, he took the lead and headed off the path just a bit. Once they were far enough away for there to be actual prey, he paused and padded over to Thawkit. "What can you smell?" |

Smokekit twitched his ears in hurried understanding as he too watched the butterfly on Elmkit's head. Unlike his sister however, he dropped into a crouch and steadily approached his brother, his eyes fixed on the creature.
"There's a butterfly on your head," Dovekit meowed quietly, tilting her head to watch the creature quizzingly.
Elmkit stiffened, unsure of what to do. He didn't want to scare off the butterfly, but he also didn't want to get jumped on by Smokekit, he thought as he noticed his brothers stealthy approach.

Getting back to his paws, he muttered something inaudible under his breath and then shook his head. Smokekit yowled playfully as he curled into a ball and started softly biting Snowdapples paw.
Elmkit tried to look up at the butterfly, but when he moved his eyes he also moved his head, causing the creature to fly away. Overcome by a sense of playfulness, he bounded after the butterfly, jumping into the air with outstretched paws.

Should we try to catch it?" Mice were fairly difficult to catch, even for an apprentice, but trying was better than not. And it would be interesting to see how much natural skill he had. The tabby warrior crouched down and watched Thawkit. "Like we practiced before." |

Elmkit trotted back over to the group of cats, sitting a bit further away so as to protect his pelt from Smokekit's playfight. "I wanna play a game" he mewed, trying not to sound too demanding.
Dovekit batted at Smokekit's ears a few times before becoming bored and padding over to sit next to Elmkit. "What do you want to do?."
"I dunno... something" Elmkit replied.
Smokekit tried to hang onto Snowdapples leg the entire time, not aware that his siblings were getting bored.
