Chapter 1-
"Starclan help us all. This can't be the end. Show us a sign that you're still watching us." A short legged gray tom said to the darken sky as he awoke from a dream of fire. The old medicine cat waited for a long time until he accepted only the breeze of the night would answer him. "Even though there are those who lost faith in you, I am still here so speak to me! Show yourselves!"
"Fallenstone. It's no use." A tall tabby grey tom with green eyes and a graying muzzle mewed softly. "Starclan is angry with us and it isn't going to change anytime soon so just wait until they calm down." The tom sat down next to the medicine cat and draped his tail around his shoulders.
"I know Emeraldstar but I have to try. I'd be mouse brained to give up like the rest. The other clans will talk if I give up and stop going to the Starpool." He shook his head in defeat. "Why must we have so many cats break the warrior code in this clan and so many who don't believe in Starclan?"
"Maybe that's what you have to find out on your own or maybe it'll never be answered. Now, tell me what you saw in your dream old friend." Emeraldstar said slowly.
"A fire broke out across the border along with a cat's silhouette coming from the flames." Fallenstone blinked his blue eyes as he recalled his dream. "I heard the voice say 'born of earth and sky will flames rise from and swallow the clan and be the end of Stars"
"Perhaps it's talking about the birth of a cat in the clans?" the leader asked Fallenstone.
"I believe that's exactly what it's referring to" The gray and white tom mewed grimly. "And this cat will bring the death of Starclan as we know it"
Chapter 2-
"Emeraldstar!" A tiny tan and white she-cat raced up to the tall green-eyed tom panting. "Fadedlight is making another speech."
Emeraldstar turned his head over to her and nodded slowly. "Pansyleaf, I know this isn't what you want to hear but this is a safe place to speak your mind. I don't care if someone is spreading kind words about the dark forest, I won't punish someone for what they believe"
"But Fallenstone's prophecy! What about that?" Pansyleaf stuttered slightly before continuing her argument. "If we keep letting this happen then Starclan will be destroyed."
"Maybe that's what needs to happen before there's peace in this clan." The gray leader spoke softly and wrapped his tail around her. "Maybe it's time to start something new and let go of past beliefs. More than half the clan seems to think so"
"How could you suggest turning your back on Starclan? Don't you want to know you and your future kits have a resting place where you could watch over the clan once you're gone?" The tiny but plump she-cat started to shout.
"Pansyleaf. If you feel so strongly about this, why don't you go with Fallenstone on his trip after the kits are old enough? And before you yell at me, no, it's not because I want you to leave. I just know it'll bring you peace if you helped find the 'sky' and 'earth' that Fallenstone talked about." She glared at him for awhile but soon relaxed and sighed.
"You're right" She looked out onto the clan. "It might help me to leave this sinning clan for awhile. But I'm not going to wait so long to leave. I'm leaving at sunhigh. After all, If I am going to have my kits on the way, I'll have a medicine cat with me" The she-cat shone with confidence
"You can't be serious." Emeraldstar said, concern in his voice. "You could encounter dogs or Up-standers and end up dying and having to leave our kits behind! There's no way I'd let you-"
"Sorry to interrupt, but I agree with Pansyleaf. It won't just be us. I'm also bringing along Lilydrop and Mintedstone. You can count on us three to keep your mate and kits safe." Fallenstone mewed.
"Just be sure you come back safe" Emeraldstar said defeated. "Just come back safe..."
Chapter 3-
"Are you sure these are enough herbs to aid us in our trip?" The brown and white spotted tom asked.
"There don't seem to be a lot of it here" A slim calico tom agreed. "Don't you think we should bring a bit more?"
"We don't need many herbs to travel. Besides" Fallenstone turned towards the calico tom. "Would you want to carry a mouthful of herbs all that way Lilydrop?" Lilydrop shook his head and flicked his torn ear in understanding.
"Are we going to stand here all day and share tongues or are we going to go save the clan?" Pansyleaf asked. She glanced over at Mintedstone and narrowed her eyes. "Isn't he one of the non-believers?" Mintedstone dipped his head.
"Even if I don't believe in Starclan anymore, I still don't like how cats are disobeying the warrior code. If finding this 'sky' and 'earth' will help stop that, I'll help." The tall tom told her humbly. "I'm willing to let go of my pride to help the clan, so please do the same." Pansyleaf glared at him but nodded.
"Now, If we're all done arguing about who's coming, We need to head to Shadowclan and Riverclan. A few cats I talked to said they wanted to join." Lilydrop mewed.
"Shadowclan wants to be apart of helping Thunderclan? Now that's a funny joke" Pansyleaf purred.
"It isn't a joke. We need their help. Or did you think two warriors, an old medicine cat, and a pregnant she-cat could do it alone." Lilydrop asked sarcastically.
"Well, Let's stop arguing and head over to Shadowclan then." Fallenstone said frustrated. After the old tom spoke, the small group of cats headed to Shadowclan's camp.
"Lilydrop!" A long legged black she-cat tackled the tom and purred. "What took you so long to get here? Me and Darkpath have been waiting forever!"
"You told Darkpath? But I told you-" Lilydrop was interrupted by large dark brown and tan tom with fur hanging down his cheeks, ears that had tufts of tan fur on both tips of his ears and dark green eyes that held the look of death.
"Is it wrong that my sister wants me to come with her Lilydrop?" The tom asked with a grin on his face. "You're so cold to me" Lilydrop rolled his eyes.
"Sorry but I just had to tell him" The tall she-cat mewed apologetically.
"Its fine Emberdust. You didn't mean any harm by it" Lilydrop flicked her ear playfully with his tail. "We better hurry and get Rabbittail and Applemist before they think we forgot about them." While they were walking, Pansyleaf leaned over and whispered to Mintedstone.
"So Lilydrop had a mate in Shadowclan no one knew about?"
"Well, I knew about Emberdust and Lilydrop but yeah. The two of them have been like that sense they were apprentices." Mintedstone purred loudly. "They make a great couple."
"There you are! Just like a Thunderclan cat to be late!" a ginger she-cat with a few patches of brown fur walked up to Fallenstone. "Me and Rabbittail have been waiting all day!" The tiny she-cat had a big mouth for something so small. Fallenstone smiled and apologized
"Yes. We were waiting for awhile" The quite voice came from a white furred she-cat with a bob of a tail. Her arms were neatly folded under her as she was laying down waiting to start the journey. "But It wasn't very long Applemist. You don't have to get so hot tempered over something so small." Applemist just sighed with frustration but calmed down.
"Now that we're all here" Darkpath mewed with his same toothy grin. "Let's begin"
Chapter 4-
"So, what are we journeying for anyways?" Darkpath asked, his dark gaze watching Lilydrop.
"We're traveling to tell others about Starclan and helping Fallenstone with his prophecy you fleabrain" Applemist hissed. "Don't you listen to anything we say?" Darkpath snorted and amusement filled his eyes
"For a Riverclan cat, you sure have the attitude of someone who belongs in Shadowclan" The tall dark brown and tan tom scoffed.
"Are you saying i'm a foxhearted fleabrain like you? I'll make you eat those words!" The little ginger and brown she-cat puffed up and slide her claws out ready to tear Darkpath to shreds.
"Enough. We have to focus on the trip and I would like all of us to have our fur intact." Fallenstone mewed. "If you can't get along, you can head back. After all, It said nothing about me having to bring you Applemist." Rabbittail nodded slowly and whispered some calming words to Applemist. Emberdust smiled and padded up to Pansyleaf.
"I heard that you're going to have Emeraldstar's kits. Congrats!" The black she-cat purred happily. "I hope me and Lilydrop will have some soon. He'd make a great father." She glanced back at an embarrassed Lilydrop and smiled.
"Yeah. They should be coming in about five moons" Pansyleaf tried to make sure the look of disapproval wasn't showing. The she-cat seemed to be nice but being mates with a cat from another clan was a sin. Although she did agree they were cute together and she wasn't heartless enough to tell them that the soon-to-be mother didn't like them together.
"Just make sure you'll be careful and tell us when you need a break" Mintedstone mewed and walked flank to flank with her. "I don't want you to end up hurt"
"You don't need to fuss over me. I might be carrying kits but i'm not helpless you know" Pansyleaf purred. A large rocky path shined beyond the horizon showing the challenge the group of cats were going to face.
"We have to climb that?" Applemist asked. "Good Starclan! That will take two moons at the least!" She shook her pelt and lashed her tail. "How are we going to get a queen up there?"
"I just told you" Pansyleaf mewed irritated. "I'm not helpless. I can manage." She started to stalk up to the large rocks and tried to climb them.
"You have a challenge on your paws there. Try not to get too hurt if it doesn't work out" Rabbittail mewed softly to the brown and white tom.
"Yeah. I know" Mintedstone said grimly
Chapter 5-
"Get out of my way fuzzball." Applemist mewed as she pushed past Mintedstone. "I have places to go" Darkpath walked behind her and purred.
"You heard the lady" The large tom laughed, obviously enjoying her attitude. Fallenstone sighed at the two and started chatting with Rabbittail about which paths to take and she nodded, listening carefully. Pansyleaf walked in front of Mintedstone, huffing from all the exercise. Mintedstone ignored the two cats and casted a worried gaze at the pregnant she-cat. Emberdust and Lilydrop were in the back talking about kits.
"Fallenstone" The brown and white tom mewed back to the old medicine cat. "We should take a break. It's going to be nightfall soon and it looks like Pansyleaf could use a rest anyways."
"I can keep going." The stubborn she-cat complained. "I'm fine"
"No. He's right." Fallenstone mewed. "My old paws are worn out anyways. we should find a place to stop and rest. Maybe even hunt." He looked at the white she-cat and nodded. "I'll let you go find a place that'll be good"
"Alright" Rabbittail mewed with her regular, unemotional voice. She squeezed past all of them and went ahead to go search.
"She kind of scares me a bit" Lilydrop muttered. "Not a smile or a drop of emotion in her voice..."
"That's just how she is" Applemist told him. "She's really a kind cat but lacks a way to show how she feels so she comes off cold."
"Not as cold as you" Darkpath purred. The tiny she-cat snapped her head towards the tom and gave a deadly stare.
"You haven't seen cold yet" She growled and walked a bit faster to get away from him. Awhile later, Rabbittail padded back to the group.
"I found a place where the rocks slant, making a small den. Its not very far from here. Looks like there's quite a bit of prey too." She told Fallenstone.
"A fallen stone huh?" Lilydrop laughed. "Sounds like your kind of place." He grinned at the gray tom. Fallenstone cracked a smile and nodded.
"Well, don't just stand there, show us." He said excitedly to Rabbittail.

Chapter 6-
"This is it." Rabbittail mewed softly. The group of cats stood in front of a large slab of stone leaning against the mountain creating a small shelter. Fallenstone peeked his head into the small cave-like area and let out a large breath.
"This is amazing. So many claw marks were carved into this stone."Fallenstone's voice echoed to the others.
"Let me see!" Applemist yowled and squeezed past the old tom. She looked up and around to see all the marks of cats left from long before she was born. "Wow" Her eyes widened and her temper seemed to disappear. Darkpath went in after her and looked up as well.
"I don't see the big deal. They're just claw marks." He muttered.
"You don't feel a heavy but light feeling coming from them?" She mewed softly. "It like being crushed but flying at the same time."
"Crushed but flying?" Mintedstone said slowly. "Like being crushed by earth and flying in the sky?" Fallenstone looked over at Mintedstone with surprise in his dull blue eyes.
"A clue for the prophecy perhaps?" Lilydrop suggested. "Maybe we're supposed to look for the cats who made these marks."
"I think you may be looking too much into it. Over thinking you know?"Pansyleaf mewed. "It could be nothing but a waste of our time."
"It couldn't hurt to try though." Emberdust told the tan and white she-cat. "We don't have any other leads." Lilydrop licked Emberdust's cheek and purred his approval.
"She's right. We have no other leads and the more time we waste the faster the clans will probably rebel." Fallenstone mewed. " But we do need some rest." Pansyleaf nodded.
"You guys get some rest. I'll be on guard for the first shift." She mewed.
"Oh no you won't." Mintedstone mewed sternly. "You're carrying kits. You need all the rest you can get. I'll take the first shift while you get some sleep." Pansyleaf gave him a glare but didn't resist and headed into the cave with the others.
"Wake me up for the next shift. You need your sleep to" Rabbittail mewed softly to Mintedstone and followed the others
"Starclan help us all. This can't be the end. Show us a sign that you're still watching us." A short legged gray tom said to the darken sky as he awoke from a dream of fire.
