It says keep it PG-13, and I just wanted to be sure if that meant I could use stuff like: alcohol, smoking, drugs, and guns.

Just wanted to double check first before I add something that isn't allowed.

I would keep it in moderation, and try hard not to portray any substance abuse in a positive light. As long as there isn't anything graphic and just a mention to further character/plot, you should be fine.
