Ok help this old geezer so she doesn't have to look thru all her books again!
In the case of a leader dying, and the deputy of course becomes leader, WHEN does he /she name a new deputy? After the nine lives ceremony or can they do so before? I know they have a time limit-but usually that is when the deputy dies and the leader must appoint a new one. . .I cannot recall what happens in the circumstance when the leader dies and the deputy becomes leader and must name his /her deputy.
