Last question before the wonderful final round! It will be much less complicated, and a lot of fun, I think. It's something everyone can join in, even if they didn't do the rest of the trivia, because it's fun! And it does give three points to the winner! I won't judge it until tomorrow morning when I wake up, so that gives everyone all night...

Round 3
Let's take a trip back in time...imagine what it would have been like in CrystalClan, in the aftermath of the shark attack that killed so many cats, including Kelppelt, Heatherpelt, and apprentices Saltpaw and Sagepaw. Put one of your characters there, and roleplay their reaction. The deaths...the battle...the victory. Detail what your character felt, thought, said, and did. This can be as long or short as you would like, a monologue of sorts. Enjoy the time. Reflect. Place your character, and by extension, yourself there. Roleplay, and well, fight the shark. How did your character help the clan win? One post says it all, and the very best post will win three points. You have all night, so take your time. Submissions scored tomorrow morning, at which time winner will be announced and prize won.

Frankly, Swancall hadn't felt this terrified since his apprentice days. If he could see his young self again, he'd die from laughter at his old worries of proving himself to the clan, and believing that it would be the hardest thing possible. Loyalty and strength proven, it was no longer a matter of honor, but a matter of life and death. This shark had been terrorizing the clan for ages, and everyone felt the effects of it. Less food, limited access to the sea, and the overwhelming fear for loved ones any time somecat left camp. And finally, Aurorastar felt it was time to take their lives back. While it was all paws in the line for such a task, most of the pressure was on top of the water cats, and the winged cats like himself. When was the last time these sandy shores were known for the pleasant sting of salt and the cold but refreshing waves, rather than an unsettling horror? The young warrior was shaken out of his thoughts at the leader's call to fight. He took to the skies alongside the rest of the winged cats. Usually, he would have been focused on the feel of the breeze in his fur and wings, but now all he cared about was this mission, his eyes trained on the water for the dreaded gray fin. Finally, the shadowed figure started to appear, coming closer and closer to the surface. Swiftly, one of the more experienced cats swooped down, narrowly avoiding the shark's jaws as it came out of the water. Their following pace was frantic, yet controlled. One by one, they would take turns swooping close to the water, drawing the predator closer and closer to the sand. During his own turn, Swancall's felt as if his heart was in his throat. Toes just skimming the water, the white tom was lucky enough to have pulled away just in time. As they got closer to the shore, his biggest role was over, and it was now the water cats time to shine. He watched them do their best, controlling the currents and pulling the shark onto the beach. Closer...closer...finally! At this point, every cat seemed to be in the fray, a flurry of tooth and claw, the only thing anyone caring about was reaching their goal of tearing into the gray and white flesh. Swancall wasn't sure how long this went on for, but as the shark stopped moving, and the smell of dead fish started to permeate the air, one by one, cats pulled away. It'd take time before things went back to normal, but at least they now had the peace of mind that came with knowing victory was theirs.

Lionstep paused, staring at the cold gray waters, feeling chilled — it wasn’t because of the temperature, but nerves He still remember the pained groans of Kelppelt and the oozing stump where her tail should have been. Everything about the water screamed no. And yet here he was, chosen for his abilities. Darknight had pulled him aside. He could still remember the words. I’m counting on you. With your invulnerability you should be fine. Kill it. He hoped dearly that Darknight’s hope in him hadn’t been misplaced. He wasn't’ normally this nervous when facing a battle. He couldn’t quite put a paw on why he was now. Maybe it was the fact that they were facing another animal, one that gave no mercy and was nothing but a hardened killer. It was a predator. He had purposefully torn a gash along his flank, hoping to attract the shark. He was bait, just like the others.
Taking a deep breath, he glanced around at the other cats. They all nodded at each other. Not letting himself think about what could happen, he ran full-speed into the water. You will be fine, he told himself. Lionstep swam with strong measured strokes, though he hung back. The real work belonged to the winged and the water cats. They watched and waited, and they were not disappointed. Soon a dark shadow appeared, slicing swiftly through the water. “Pull back,” he called, swimming back towards the shore. His heart skipped a beat as he heard a scream. He craned his head around to see the water around one of teh apprentices stained a dark scarlet. Oh no.
Lionstep looked up at the winged cats and those who were closer. He was too far away. “Help him!” he screeched, but it was too late. The young apprentice was swiftly pulled under the surface. The red ribbons of blood spread throughout the water, even reaching him. Lionstep couldn’t help but feel slightly nauseated as he made his way to the shore with the others, trying desperately to outswim the shark. It was one thing to spill blood and another to swim in it. He breathed a sigh of relief as he made it to the shore. His gash stung furiously from the water, but he tried to ignore it. He could see the shark swimming towards the shore after him. It had finished its meal — a cat, he thought, sickened by the thought — and was coming towards them, exactly as planned. “Keep going,” he called. The huge shark drew closer and closer to the sand and he gave the winged and water cats a look. “Now!”
Lionstep watched as they used their powers to drag the shark onshore. The winged cats dug their claws into its back and flapped their wings furiously, trying to drag it forward. The water cats attempted to push the water against the shark’s back. It wasn’t without struggle. The air was filled with shrieks. One or two winged cats were torn out of the air by gnashing teeth. Lionstep waited on shore, hoping that this was the right thing to do. Finally, feathers and blood, floating in the salt water, they managed to beach the nasty shark. Lionstep rushed forwards, claws out. “Attack!” he yowled, leading the other cats already on land. He fell upon the best, claws flashing. He relished the feel of rubbery gray flesh tearing to shreds beneath his sharpened claws. The skin was though, but with a few swipes it was impenetrable. The shark flailed and caught another cat in its mouth. Lionstep ran to gouge at its eyes, but the cat was already slumped to the ground. Lionstep turned aside just in time to avoid being bitten. The teeth bounced off his somewhat impenetrable skin due to his power, but left a nasty scratch. He grunted in mild pain and went back at it with increased rage. He went for the eyes again and couldn’t help but feel satisfied as he tore at the beady, soulless prisms.
Eventually, the shark’s movement grew more and more sluggish. It was out of its element; the beach was not its terrain. Lionstep landed a few more blows, the shark’s fishy blood spilling on the sand. At last, he stepped back. It was dead. He felt victorious, but only for a moment. He looked around and saw just how many cats they had lost. Lionstep bowed his head in grief for them. They had won, but at what cost? They had lost far too many cats.

I'm going to have to go with Tali's. I think it brought a really interesting side to Swancall that has not yet been seen. All were good, it was super cool to read each cat's thoughts!
That makes Tali the winner with 10 points total. Diamond is yours to rp in the Rogue Group!
I look forward to next week, guys! I hope to make a few changes by then.
