I'm thinking about making a high school roleplay, so decided to brush up on roleplaying that kind of stuff ^^ Feel free to jump-in, just make sure you describe your character within the first few of your posts.
I haven't finished my own posts yet, but if you want to jump-in right now, its the start of the first school day just after the buses arrive, about ten minutes until class.
Cypress Eckley | Senior
Hearing the opening bell ring, Cypress reluctantly turned off his car and slipped the key into his pocket, before grabbing his bag and stepping out into the damp morning. His younger sister, Gloriana, had already run the the buses to wait for her friends, and Cypress could almost remember his own excitement when he was a freshman. That faded quickly, though, and within the first quarter of the year it already felt like he had been in high school for years. Now that he actually had, though, it was a bit bittersweet. He only had on more year before he probably would never set foot in the school again. Brushing the thought off, he made his way across the parking lot the the front of the building, glancing around for anyone he knew before pushing into the crowd to the doors.
Lexis Dillington | Junior
Filing along after the rest of the students on her bus, Lexis headed out into the large parking lot that stretched across the front of the school. It wasn't very hot for early September, and paired with the cloudy day it made for the perfect school feeling - that it was autumn. Lexis could never stand when she had to go back to school when it was still just as hot and sunny out as it had been all summer, preferring for fall to be the season to start school. Breathing in the misty air as she walked, Lexis soon reached the doors and slipped through them, doing her best not to bump into anyone, though no one else seemed to have anywhere near the same care. As she walked, Lexis looked over the map and her schedule now that she was inside. Luckily her locker was near the entrance and she found it as she made her way past, flicking the dial and opening it to and leave her jacket. She knew her homeroom teacher would have them come back later incase someone hadn't found their's, but Lexis still always made an effort to find hers first.
