Okay! So, I was watching some warrior cats YouTube videos and there was this one video which was using google translate to find some weird translations for warrior cat names. Anyway, I decided I would try it out with some of my warrior cat characters! So I used 5 different languages to find out what google translate though warrior names translated into.

Springpaw became open leg.
How did it get that? I can sort of get leg but how did spring become open?
Birdstar became star bird.
Leafspirit became spirit leaf.
One of the google translates translated it to something else, however, due to not knowing it's meaning I decided not to include it. Better safe than sorry!
Surprisingly, Finchkit had no unique translations (they all got it right!).

Ravenpaw had a large amount of crow variations (Crow's paw, crow foot,etc.) but surprisingly, one of the google translates got Ox! How did Ravenpaw become Ox?!
Cloudstorm became Cloud, storm cloud and storm clouds.
Bumbleheart became heart bumble and lost heart.
Honestly, lost heart is actually not that inaccurate, I mean, Cloudstorm did lose Bumbleheart.
Dappled Whispers became spotted whispers, mottled whispers, speckled whispers and, my favourite, Whispered Whispered.

Applefrost became bad cold, apple cream, apple ice and apple jelly.
Sounds like a dessert!
Bearfear became carry (how?), be scared, worry, be afraid and scared bear.
Okay, so according to google translate, be scared of Bearfear.
Autumnpaw became autumn leaves foot and autumn foot.
Quietshadow became silent shadow and quiet shade.
The translations were almost evenly split! four out of the five google translates said one of these answers!

Ferretpaw was one of the oddest, becoming gecko foot, a trotter leg and ferret claws.
Seriously, how are any of these close to Ferretpaw?!
Sandfall became sand trap, sand falling and the sand is falling.
I can just imagine a cat looking for Sandfall (in this case The Sand Is Falling) and calling out "The sand is falling!" Image how many cats would get freaked/confused by that!
Acornfur became gland fur (what?!), acorn coat, oak fur and, weirdly, fur tassels.
Meadowpaw became meadow, pointed paws, meadows foot, grass paws and foot prairie.
Foot prairie really puts some disturbing imagery into your head...

Warrior Cat names that were mentioned in spoilers and have been translated using google translate are under this spoiler. Macadamia became Australia.
"I'm eating Australias!"
Jackrabbit became rabbit, hare and jack bunny.
Blacknose had no unique translations.
Tigershadow became tiger's shadow, shadow of tiger and the shadow of the tiger.
The Shadow of The Tiger... Sounds like a super hero's name or something. And then of course! Me! Echowind became they echo... I don't know how... |
