Chapter 1 - The Beginning

"Pebblepaw! Pebblepaw! Pebblepaw!" Shouted Pebblepaw's Clan "Touch nose's with me Pebblepaw" whispered her mentor Dawntail, As she did so she was trembling with excitement "Can we please go on a tour of the territories Dawntail?" Whispered Pebblepaw "Sure" whispered Dawntail "let's go". As Pebblepaw followed Dawntail though the territories Pebblepaw asked Dawntail if she would let him practice hunting "Sure go ahead!" As Pebblepaw was practising she saw a huge squirrel and started to stalk it Remember to step as lightly as possible and keep your tail still and off the ground..........Go! She made a huge leap and felt a wave of pride run over her as she made the killing bite.

Chapter 2 - The Hunt

"Pebblepaw where are you!" She heard her mentor yowl as she padded back to her with her catch,"Great starclan I was worried-"
Her mentor was cut off when she saw Pebblepaw's catch "Well done Pebblepaw come on let's go back to camp!". As they arrived back though camp Pebblepaw saw that her friend and Dawntail's son, Russetpaw, Was playing with his sister Fernpaw. When Pebblepaw and Dawntail came into view of all their clanmates excited murmuring broke out and Pebblepaw felt nervous as Snowstar padded up to her I hope I'm not in trouble for running away from Dawntail.....

Chapter 3 - Trouble

"Pebblepaw you made a great catch for a first-time hunter but you should not have run away from Dawntail but I feel it would be cruel to punish you as it is leaf-bare and you have provided a good meal for the clan. You may come to the gathering tonight."
As Snowstar finished she gave a tiny squeak of excitement My first gathering on the day I was made an apprentice that's so lucky!! "Hey, Pebblepw!" Yowled Russetpaw from outside the apprentice's den, As Pebblepaw ran she felt teeth grab her scruff and pull her back "Hey what did you that for!" Yowled Pebblepaw as she turned on her mother "you need to rest and eat before the gathering" Pebblepaw gave a small look towards Russetpaw and Fernpaw "Don't worry Russetpaws coming too" her mother continued.

Chapter 4 - The Gathering

As the sun started to dip below the horizon Pebblepaw and Russetpaw walked towards the thorn tunnel as the cats who were going to the gathering rushed through it. "I can't believe it our first day as apprentices and we get to go to a gathering!" Meowed Russetpaw as they walked side by side with their clanmates, "I know but it's sad that Fernpaw couldn't come as well" Meowed Pebblepaw as they came closer to the Gathering. As the Dawnclan cats arrived at the gathering Pebblepaw could tell that Duskclan and Moonclan were already there, This is it my first gathering.

When the Dawnclan cats padded down into the clearing Pebblepaw noticed that Sunclan weren't here yet Thats odd because Dawntail told me that they are never late. . . "Hey, Pebblepaw! come here!" Yowled Dawntail from the other side of the clearing and as she cast a confused glance at Russetpaw she padded over. "Yes Dawntail?" she meowed as she sat down by Dawntail
"I just have some rules for you, Don't give away Dawnclan secrets, Don't mention any major battles and remember the truce." meowed Dawntail seriously, "Ok Dawntail" Pebblepaw replied, "Now go have some fun!" meowed Dawntail.
