For those of you who have no idea about what I'm talking about, here's a not-so-brief explanation:
The one below was found on BlogClan.
(Firestar, Hollyleaf, Bluestar, Jayfeather
Yellowfang, Feathertail, Leafpool, Dovewing
Sol, Silverstream, Bramblestar, Hawkfrost
Lionblaze, Graystripe, Squirrelflight, Crookedstar)
There's a few pretty obvious things wrong with that. Dovewing is absolutely not an INTP. She doesn't fit into the label of "Introvert" or "thinker" at all. She's more of an ENFP. I think Hollyleaf is more of an INTP than her.
Speaking of Hollyleaf, she's definitely not a sensor. She seems to be too "off the ground" to be an ISFJ.
Squirrelflight is too grounded to be an ENFP in my opinion.
If I was making one of my own, I would use these characters:
INFJ: Alderheart
ENFP: Dovewing/Twigpaw
INFP: Ivypool/Violetpaw
ESTP: Lionblaze/Hawkwing
INTJ: Jayfeather/Hollyleaf
INTP: Jayfeather/Hollyleaf
ISTJ: Firestar.
ESFP: Squirrelflight
ENFJ: Mapleshade
ENTJ: Probably Tigerstar
ENTP: I don't think that there's any "good" examples of ENTPs in the series(Crookedstar might be? I don't know though). I'd probably pick Needletail.
ESFJ: I don't know either? Sandstorm I guess?
ESTJ: Sol fits this pretty well I guess. I'm 90% I could find a better example with some more thought though.
ISTP: ???
ISFP: ???
ISFJ: ???
Here's some other cats that I think could be included, but I'm not sure:
Stormfur: ISFX
An MBTI type is created by four letters, each one dictating part of a personality. The first letter will always be E or I. The second, N or S. The third, F or T. The fourth, J or P.
E/I: E stands for Extrovert and I stands for Introvert. Extroverts are "people people," meaning that they tend to be outgoing and like social interaction. Introverts are people who prefer to be alone or with a small group of people. They are usually shy, but not everyone who is shy is an introvert. More people are extroverts than introverts, but that's reversed on this forum. The scientific meanings of these terms are as following:
Extrovert - one who gains energy from social interaction
Introvert - one who loses energy from social interaction
N/S: N stands for iNtuition and S stands for Sensing. When one is a N, they tend to be more "off the ground." They like ideas that are unrealistic, usually, but that doesn't mean that they can't be practical. N's focus more on the future than S's. When one is a S, they are more "on the ground." They prefer realistic ideas and problems, but that doesn't mean that they can't be creative. S_J's tend to focus more on the past, and S_P's focus more on the present. More people are S's than N's, but that's also reversed on this forum.
T/F: T stands for Thinking and F stands for Feeling. People who are T are more logical than F's, who tend to follow their emotions. T's often have a hard time with understanding emotions or being sensitive to people's emotions, but they aren't selfish or emotionless. They just put logic over feelings. F's are sensitive. They can cry easily and understand people's emotions better, but they can come off as cold and selfish. FP's are commonly more selfish than FJ's. More people have F than T. That is not reversed on this forum.
P/J: P stands for perceiving and J stands for judging. People who are P's prefer to improvise over plan, while people who are J's prefer to plan over improvise. P's are less organized than J's, less inclined to follow the rules than J's, and procrastinate more than J's. Their main strength is that they're better at improvising than J's. E__P's are often reckless, while I__P's are often curious and disorganized. People who are J's are more organized than P's, more inclined to follow the rules than P's, and procrastinate less than P's. They like to plan everything out. However, they suck at improvisation when they can't follow their plan. They commonly Conform to the Norm™. J's are more common than P's.
A few specifics:
NF's are dreamy-headed idealists. They have a knack for creativity.
NT's are analysts. They love studying people and solving problems.
S_J's and S_P's and very different. S_J's Conform to the Norm™ while S_P's love to create new things.
ESFJ is the most common personality type. NT's and NFJ's are the rarest personality types.
EXTJ's are, stereotypically, villains.
