There were a lot of theme challenges on the old site, but they were all set up for Warriors and such so I couldn't really join in on them. I did however write to one of the themes once with a couple of my ocs. I feel like posting it, 'cause I'm still surprised that this didn't turn out absolutely terrible considering its been like a year and my writing has improved at least a little bit since then. Anyway, take this tiny one-shot I did.
The clouds were grey outside, rain threatening to push through onto the ground bellow. Terrance blinked as he stared out the window. Something in him just didn't feel right. Its not like it was anything new, if he was to be honest. He always felt like something wasn't right, but then again anyone would feel that way if they were in his shoes. Terrance briefly wondered if his acquaintance felt the same way now that he was dragged into all of this with him.
"Hey." Terrance turned his head to look at said acquaintance, who was standing in the doorway in his usual trench coat. "What are you doing?" He asks. Terrance simply sighs in response, getting the boy with the glasses to straighten his posture. "Is something wrong?"
Terrance shakes his head. "I just...don't feel good." He rests a hand on his chest as he looks back out the window. "I'm not hurt, but I feel...pain." He didn't realize, but as he was talking the boy with glasses had walked over to him.
"Maybe you're working yourself too hard again. When was the last time you slept?" The boy asks, standing with his arms crossed beside Terrance.
"I just woke up an hour ago." He replies. "It doesn't feel physical though. Does that..make any sense?" Terrance hated asking questions.
The boy pushes up his glasses and looks outside. "Did you have another nightmare?" He gets a nod as a reply and lets out a soft sigh. "You might be feeling anguish. Or agony."
Terrance gives the boy a look. Agony? Well, it didn't seem too far from the truth. Was agony really what he was feeling? He had no idea, but while they were talking it had begun to rain outside.
