... ↪ }} Dreamcloud -- is a very lithe and petite she-cat with deceiving fluffy cloud-white fur and a long feathery plume of a tail. Gray smudges dollop on her head and pelt, looking like she had just rolled around in a pile of ash. Her legs and chest have even scruffier fur on them as does her forehead, giving her a dollop of 'bangs' over her left eye. Her eyes are a pale, lilac color. She has delicate paws and a broad, flattened muzzle. Dreamcloud can be fun and nice when she wants to be, but her chances of getting irritated at the tiniest of problems is high. She despises drama and isn't the most patient, but she is very clever. Her intelligence and way with words often makes her think highly of herself, which is off-putting to others, because she is very direct and blunt about speaking her mind without much regard for the feelings of others. However, she strives to serve herself and others to get cats to think well of her, including herself. She is her own worst critic. Her intentions are true to herself, just maybe not to others. Her imagination sometimes gets in the way of her reality. She doesn't easily become close to someone, and shuts herself away and just does as she's told. She also loves to tease others. In some forms it's harmless, in others it isn't. Surprisingly, she fears getting in trouble. When she feels like something is wrong with her life, she begins to worry over it. Over-calculating everything and over-thinking when she comes to her worrisome point. If you managed to become a friend of hers that she doesn't find annoying or doesn't find her annoying, she can be one of the most outgoing and sweet cats you could ever know.

Acornkit - is a thicker-set, brown tortoiseshell she-kit. Her pelt is shaggy and long-haired of a light, sandy-brown that's covered in darker-brown dapples. Her tail is short and fluffy with the colors being half of each found on her pelt. There's a splash of white fur at her chin and she has a broad, flattened muzzle. Her ears and short and angled and she has rather large paws. The fur around her throat is scruffier than the rest of her pelt and her eyes are droop-shaped of an intense orange-color. Acornkit can be confident and domineering, but from being manipulative and secretive. She fears being forgotten, and dreams of having power. Suffix - shadow
Cloverkit - is a medium-furred pale-gray she-cat with one blue eye and one green eye. She is clever and kind, but reserved. wip Suffix - breeze
Dawnkit - is a medium-furred off-white and cream-orange tabby she-cat with yellow eyes. She is pompous and strict, but cultured. wip Suffix - pool
Emberkit - is a small, long-haired, fluffy orange, brown, ginger, and white tortoiseshell Maine Coon she-cat with honey-brown flecks on her pelt that appear 'gold'. She has dainty white paws with one black-toe distinctly seen on her front-left paw. Her tail towers over her figure with it's long strands that fans out with each flick. Her wild-amber eyes with orange flecks are rather large and round on her delicate face, giving her a doe-look. Emberkit has a bubbly, positive attitude and likes to think that every cat has a purpose, and she sets out to make sure everybody knows that. She fears boredom, and dreams of always having fun. Fernkit - is a long-haired and slender brown tabby she-cat with a long body and curlier fur at her forehead and chest with bouts of curly patches elsewhere in her pelt. She has a big white splotch on her muzzle from her lips to the bridge of her nose. However, there is a black streak along where her bright pink nose is over the white splotch. Her front-arms and shoulder-blade area are completely white, like a ring separating her neck from her back. Her eyes are round and green. Fernkit is a very good teacher and advice-giver, but even so, is very forgiving of mistakes. She fears being wrong, and dreams of being a wonderful mentor. Suffix - whistle

Gorsekit - is a thick-set, cream and sable-brown Burmese tom with long whiskers. He has an off-white under-coat paired over with the creamier shaded top-coat that's heavily littered with scars. There is a dark-chocolate, sable-brown splash at his chest that trails from his lower chest all the way up and around his slightly-flat muzzle. The same dark, red-brown fur also coats all four of his limbs and his pointed-ears. There is however a ring of cream around his black nose with pale-cream furred freckles at his cheeks. His warm-amber eyes with bright-yellow rings would make any cat feel safe and assured. Gorsekit is always rather aloof and believes in meditating and a calm life. He fears fighting and dreams of pacifism. Suffix - fire

Lionkit - is a long-haired, pale-orange and rather tan tom, but underneath his coat is a lanky yet well-toned build. His fur is especially fluffy at his chest and throat and curls at his legs. He has a long, plumy tail tipped in an off-white color that also marks his legs. There are a bunch of light-brown speckles scattered on his face and his eyes are a firey amber-color. Lionkit is always loud, very egotistical, and exceedingly obnoxious. He fears sounding mousebrained, and dreams of being the greatest warrior. Suffix - crest

Oakkit - is a sleek sandy-brown tom with a brown splotch on his broad, flattened face. He has honey-colored eyes. He is helpful and agile, but questioning. wip Suffix - flight
Pinekit - he wip. Suffix - whisker
Shadekit - is a small, longhaired black-and-gray tortoiseshell Manx tom. He has an all-white underside and a stubbed tail. His paws are well-rounded and bigger in proportion to the rest of his body. Though he may have a smaller body and more feminine pelt, he does his best to appear like a tom. Shadekit doesn't have the most positive outlook and is rather pessimistic towards everything. This may be due to him being pushed around and bullied by the rest of the kits. He fears constant ill-treatment, and dreams of one day having his own big, happy family. Suffix - spots

... There was once, long ago before the world was as we know it now, a Spirit with a glorious light who spent her days running away from those who pursued her. The Lost were drawn to those who exuded such light and—once they became monsters beyond all hope of saving—they hunted it endlessly. To try and devour the pure and cleanse themselves of their madness.
... This Spirit hid on the mountain, stuck on the very peak by the Lost monsters circling below waiting for her to try and escape. She paced on the mountain for thirty days and tried to find her way to freedom. If she ran down the peak, she would be devoured. If she tried to jump off, she may get a head start, but, in the end, she would perish. There was no way for her to leave this mountain alive. With a wail of hopeless despair, the Spirit hung her head.
... It was then her eyes caught sight of the specks of light below the mountain. They streaked through the dark with monstrosities chasing them relentlessly, but none of them gave up. When one fell behind, others would turn back to distract the Lost monster while the weaker light ran ahead. They were working together...helping each other!
... How could these other spirits, so much smaller and weaker than her, face the monsters when she could not? How could they can fall to despair as she had?
... Their perseverance and hope gave her strength and she rose to her paws with a new determination to free herself. As she re-evaluated her situation, she came to a conclusion. If she could not move down, she would have to go up! With a mighty spring, she leapt upward and tried to snag her claws on the clouds. She fell to the ground with a mighty thud that shook the mountain. With a huff, she rose and leapt again. And again and again and again, each time making it just a little higher. Until, eventually, the Spirit grabbed onto a cloud and pulled herself into the sky. Her light illuminated the chaotic darkness below as she looked down upon the world. The corrupted Lost souls scattered and ran until the light could no longer reach them and the other spirits looked up to her in wonder.
... "My friends, we have spent our whole lives running in fear of those who lurked in the dark," she murmured in the awed silence. "I...I almost gave up and became one of them, but you all gave me hope. It was your strength and compassion for others that made me try, that helped me reach the sky. To repay you, I will weave you a safe place to live in peace out of the darkness we feared so. I will guide you to it when you cannot continue to run from the Lost anymore. I will watch after your families and guard them as best I can until they too join you. From now on, you can rely on my strength and my brilliance. You will never be alone again. - Characters will age every two weeks when I update the news. Please keep track of this. When the rp skips sometimes, I will try to keep up with the aging as closley as it seems right to be. ...-- Here in AstralClan, each leader rules during a time period called an Era. Each Era is named depending on how the leader wants to rule and will come with its own ideals. Clan members should try to live by these ideals. The current Era, its ideals, and how long it has been that Era will be listed below on this post.
.........Example: The Era of Seeking; Ideals are honesty, curiosity, and logic.
...-- Instead of apprentice evaluations, AstralClan has three distinctly different tests to be passed called the Trials. There is the Body Trial, the Mind Trial, and the Heart Trial. They can be taken at any time towards the end of an apprenticeship and all three must be passed to the mentor's satisfaction. If any of the trials are failed, the ceremony will be delayed and apprentice will have to start over.
.........The Body Trial: This is a basic test of hunting, tracking, and fighting skills necessary for the life of an AstralClan warrior. Any warrior other than the apprentices mentor can judge this trial and they can conduct it however they see fit.
.........The Mind Trial: The apprentice must escape the labyrinth listed in the territory within two days time. This trial tests your reasoning and strategic skills and shows how the apprentice would act when faced with extreme duress. If the apprentice can not make it out in time or they give up, their mentor will guide them back to safety.
.........The Heart Trial: This trial is a subtle one and is actually tested the entire length of the apprenticeship. It is how you work within the clan and how well you uphold the warrior code and the ideals of the current Era.
...-- There are two special secondary ranks some warriors and apprentices can take, a Lorekeeper or a Mystic. Lorekeepers are a few chosen cats who are taught the art of storytelling and are responsible for remembering all the past and recent history of the clan, along with their legends and mythology. A Mystic specializes in telling fortunes, whether it be by suggesting love matches, commenting on someone's personality, analyzing the dreams they are told, or by predicting an aspect of the future. They often take part at big gatherings or ceremonies but their skills can be called upon at any time. Each Lorekeeper and Mystic chooses their own apprentice when they feel they are ready to teach one but the admin has to approve them.
...-- StarClan and the Dark Forest do not exist here. Cats who are generally good are said to pass on to a world beyond this one that hides in the night sky. These cats are called the Risen. Medicine cats and leaders can sometimes talk to these cats in their dreams when the barrier between the two worlds is thinnest. Cats who have done terrible things in their lifetime are barred from entering this world and are trapped on the mortal plane. These cats are called the Lost. They sometimes try to terrorize the living and can cause nightmares or feelings of being watched in the darkness.
...-- Every so often, a cat will die a truly noble or heroic death or suffer one that came unfairly or before its time. In these special cases, this spirit may be reincarnated into the next kitten born into AstralClan and given a second chance to live. It is unlikely the kitten will remember anything specific about its previous life but they may retain something unspecific. Like, a cat who may have died from a snakebite might be reincarnated with a fear of snakes. AstralClan resides on the largest mountain in what seems to be a never-ending mountain range somewhere in the American Northeast. Everything is covered in greenery and prey is bountiful in the warm months, but there are predators as well and many dangers. The weather may change suddenly and harshly. The cold seasons bring death and disease, yet AstralClan has survived many years in their lush, rocky home and take pride in their resilience.
...The Echo Tunnel –- This was once the temporary camp for strange creature the clan calls Two-Legs, which are tall and hairless creatures that walk on their back paws. They haven't been seen around the mountain in many eras and some cats don't believe they actually existed. These Two-Legs carved large tunnels into the mountain side that lead further than any other cavern. It is a dangerous place with sudden drops, falling rocks, and an abundance of rats, but it does hold one good thing—an unusual skylight tunnel that seems to go on forever called the Silvertrail. When moonlight shines into the tunnel leading down, the embedded stones in the side of the tunnel seem to glow. If you follow the markings left by leaders long before, you can find it. Sleeping there allows one to speak with the Risen. Unfortunately, for the same reason, many of the Lost haunt the other misleading tunnels and often try to lure weak-willed cats astray. ...The Black Path –- A cliffside trail full of strange black stones. The Clan call the shining ones coal, and the dull, sharp ones shale. It's easy for cats to be injured on the sharp, slippery rocks and warriors have fallen clear off the mountain in times past. It has little to no cover from birds of prey and is a common nesting ground for snakes. However, many rare herbs not found in the rest of the territory grow in the rich soil under the stones.
...The Falls -- The Falls are a large, clear series of waterfalls that cascade down the mountain into a large pool full of fish. The pool tapers off to form a quick moving river that is difficult to cross. The banks are full of soft, sandy dirt, vibrant moss and vegetation, and smooth stones. Most battle training and practice takes place here to minimize injury. This is also the best fishing hole in the territory. Bears tend to lurk around here in the warmer seasons.
...The Shrouded Forest -- The Shrouded Forest takes up most of the mountain. It is mostly full of pines with a mix of deciduous trees. The trunks grow so tall and close together that the land below is always in shadow. A few stray beams of light can breach the foliage, but the forest is predominantly dark. This is the main hunting spot on the mountain and it also hides the most predators.
...The Prism Pool -- There is rumored to be a tiny, warm pool of water hidden somewhere on the mountains that was blessed by the spirit of the first ever medicine cat. It is said to be nearly perfectly round and incredibly hard to find. The bottom is full of colorful shining stones and the water reflects the stars on a clear night. Legends say that is has healing properties and that the spirits will save a mortally wound cat who enters the pool.
...Camp -- Sleep outside. Shelter for bad weather and the medicine cat den and nursery. Because AstralClan believe that the Risen look after them when the night sky is present, they tend to sleep in the open air under the stars. The clan lives on a series of natural steps carved into the mountain with the cliff edges blocked by boulders and large logs to keep kits away. Dens are formed between boulders and overhangs, covered in dense woven brambles and vines to keep out the cold. The medicine cat's den and the nursery are the only dens the clan will sleep inside of year round. There is a small, trickling water source outside the medicine cat's den. The highest step is where the leader sleeps and holds clan meetings. It overlooks the Stone Labyrinth.
...Stone Labyrinth -- Far below the camp, there is a dark reminder of bloody Eras past. A large, treacherous labyrinth full of pitfalls and dangers is visible from the highest step in camp. Its walls are made by tall, heavy stones and mud-and-branch enforced walls that are difficult to scale. In days long ago, the Clan would watch prisoners, traitors, and trespassers get tossed into the labyrinth with little hope of making it out alive. In recent history, it has been used to test apprentices during the Mind Trials. Mossfreckle is a medium-haired, orange-ginger tabby and white she-cat with a chubby but strong build. Her fur is especially fluffy at her chest, throat, belly, and white-tipped plumy tail and curls at her legs. Her eyes are mossy-green color with yellow rings around the irises. Her muzzle is flatter than usual with ginger speckles, a red nose, and similar paw pads. Mossfreckle makes for an excellent warrior and a good deputy when you see how invested she is in her clan and the loyalty she has towards the code. She can be a little too trusting even to those who shouldn't deserve it. Her clever wits and eye for strategy make her a great planner and organizes very fitting patrols, but she hardly joins any of the patrols she creates–be it border or hunting. The white-and-orange cat has a bit of a lazy streak but makes up for it in every other aspect. Some still adore her while others resent how somebody in a high position can get away with being so unproductive. Yet she is kind and considerate and does enjoy mentoring and helps others teach their apprentices often and does surprisingly well in physical fights. (Darkηesque)

Owlcrest | Tom | 36 Moons --
Owlcrest is a thick-furred, brown Bengal tom with darker spotted and striped markings on his big-boned, broad figure. His nose, ear tips, and the underside of his tail are more sandy-colored than the rest of his coat. His tail tip, the fur under his feet, and a splotch on the back of his head are black. He has large ears on his round, flattened face with a drippy black-spotted nose, and has bright yellow-green eyes. It's safe to assume that Owlcrest is a clever fellow, given his name and the gifts he possesses as a Mystic. He's mostly silent and reserved, but will wholeheartedly speak when giving his fortunes. Some say that his gaze is unsettling and always watching others. Perhaps he is so quiet because he's busy simply observing everyone very closely in the clan. That would definitely make his predictions more accurate, yet it probably isn't comforting to know that Owlcrest is aware of everyone's secrets. Even describing him as all-knowing would still be an understatement. (Darkηesque)
Webtangle | Tom | 24 Moons --
Webtangle is a languid and average-built, good-postured, and short-haired tom with a bit of a muscle-tone. He has a white coat but a large area of it is covered in light, ash-brown fur. There are small splotches of a darker brown dotting his legs, a few of his toes, ear tips, and tail tip. There is a streak of black on the bridge of his nose and part of his muzzle, but it helps with making his blue eyes stand out. His voice is very matter-of-fact with a ringing tone spoken with an intelligent vocabulary. Webtangle is responsible and sympathetic with a habit of being a little cynical and easily jealous. He is critical of himself although he's only a sincere and sensitive tom with a knack for being affectionate and appropriately romantic. He is an overly-helpful individual, who seeks out to use his logical mind and articulate way with words to assist others. (Darkηesque)

Honeythroat is a long-haired, pale orange-and-blonde tabby she-cat with a lithe, flexible figure. Her fur is scruffy so it takes a long time grooming to make it as sleek and shiny as she likes it. There is a ring of white around her throat and up the mouth and bridge of her muzzle. Her nose and paw-pads are pink and she has yellow, caramel-and-honey eyes. Like her sister, she's not very up for hunting, and unlike her sister she's not very up for fighting. However, she is careful to take care of her physique, keeping her lean, healthy, and agile form ready for...being pretty. Honeythroat's best trait is probably taking care of others—making her a perfect lover and Queen—but she fails at most anything else. She purposefully projects her voice annoyingly high and sing-song like. What she does enjoy is being creative, like drawing in dirt and carving on trees, because she thinks one of the best things a cat can be is well-cultured and talented in some area. Probably can't hold down a mate because she's such a restless sleeper and has a habit of gossiping and talking too much. (Darkηesque)

Cloudpaw is a long-haired and very fluffy, stout tom-cat with mostly white fur and some pale orange-and-blonde tabby markings at his face, tail, and paws. He has a firm, steady figure with larger paws and ears. His coat is very plumy all over and it is a thick struggle to keep unmatted–not having the same constant need to groom as his mother does. He has blue-green eyes with bright yellow irises. As a very airy individual, he's got a bit of a dual personality. There's the goofy genius that he is in general, and then the bit of snark he gains whenever he's around his rotten brother, Duckpaw. He just wants to be deemed 'cool' by his closest kin and plays an arse in his presence, when in reality he's just fun and full of life. As good as he is at being playful and telling jokes, he's actually pretty smart–though his intelligence can get away from his unfocused mindset sometimes. His crude persona is mostly a front, but even when he's just teasing he isn't the nicest cat anyway. Gaining a creative aspect from his mother, he wants to be innovative and inventive. (Darkηesque)
Duckpaw | Tom | 10 Moons --
Duckpaw is a short-to-medium-furred orange-ginger tabby tom with a developing muscular form, but a small and slightly stocky build. He has many tufts of brown and darker splotches in his coat and white fur at his chest, jowls, and striping across his legs. He has a bit long of a thin muzzle with warm amber eyes. His tail lacks the plume that the rest of his family possesses. Nobody wants to believe that such a determined and ambitious individual has bad intentions, so a lot of Duckpaw's antics are blamed on young rebellion because otherwise he's so obedient in his training and to his mentor; he just doesn't listen so much to anyone else. Duckpaw bleeds sarcasm and a constantly unamused tone that's mostly shown to be making fun of others and criticizing their mistakes. He's picky in general, very scowly in appearance, and just overall not very pleasant to be around. At least he prefers to be alone anyway–only trusting Cloudpaw and Copperslash to deal with his bad mouth. He is undeniably skilled in chase and combat. (Darkηesque)

The Warrior Code is as follows:- 1. The word of the Clan Leader is the warrior code.
- 2. Defend your Clan, even with your life. The safety of the Clan comes before the life of one cat.

- 4. A kit must be at least six moons old to become an apprentice.
- 5. A cat cannot be made deputy without having mentored at least one apprentice.
- 6. A deputy will become Clan leader when the leader dies, retires or is exiled. The Clan will vote between the two available deputies.
- 7. After the death or retirement of a deputy, a new deputy must be chosen before moon-high.
- 8. No warrior can neglect a kit in pain or danger.
- 9. Apprentices can not leave camp without a warrior unless instructed otherwise. Kits are forbidden from leaving camp.
- 10. An honorable warrior does not need to kill other cats to win their battles, unless they are outside the warrior code or if it is necessary for self-defense.
- 11. Killing within the clan is inexcusable and could result in banishment or execution.
... The Medicine Cat Code is as follows:- 1. A medicine cat must treat every cat equally and without bias, regardless of bloodline or personal grudges.
- 2. A medicine cat is forbidden from taking a mate or having kits.
- 3. A medicine cat apprentice has to be approved by the Risen. They will receive a dream at the Silvertrail if they are allowed to become a medicine cat.
- 4. All medicine cats must be taught basic hunting and defensive battle moves in case of emergency.
- 5. At least one medicine cat must travel to the Silvertrail on the night of the Full Moon and of the New Moon.
- 6. Medicine cats are especially sensitive to the influences of the Risen, as well as the Lost. A medicine cat is not allowed out of camp alone.

- Only start by making six cats per person. Being able to make more characters will be rewarded if you do well enough at keeping up amazingly with the ones you already have.
- Do not use anything on the taken prefixes list. List will update as characters are born and die. Try to use names that match the territory, and ones that are of animals/objects that the cats would actually know.
