I already posted previous ones, so I might as well do the same with the last five, even if they apparently aren't canon.
I decided to post the last 5 parts of the missing kits all at once, because I really want to be done with it. There will be no more missing kits after that, this is the last post, and I won't answer questions anymore.
~Missing Kits Season 2 - 16~
We have always wanted to know the names of kits who didn’t appear in the stories, or characters glimpsed only briefly. I came up with identities and tiny stories for each of these “invisible characters”, and Vicky was so happy that she has given me permission to share them with you. She looked over every single cat and would include every fact about them in the books if she could.
Sadly, these characters might never appear in an official Warriors book, but they can live in our hearts!
I will post them bit by bit every two or three days and I hope you enjoy our little revelations!
Today we continue with the second litter of Larksplash and Crowfur.
Gorsekit – later Gorsepaw and as a warrior Gorsetail – is a tawny tom with green eyes. He is the pale brown warrior mentioned in Dawn on page 12.
Nightkit – later Nightpaw and as a warrior Nightcloud – is a black she-cat with amber eyes.
Gorsetail became mates with Robinwing and soon they had two kits of their own.
Owlkit – later Owlpaw and as a warrior Owlwhisker – is a light brown tabby tom with green eyes. He was killed in the battle with the dark forest and went to StarClan.
Weaselkit – later Weaselpaw and as a warrior Weaselfur – is a ginger tom with white paws and blue eyes. He was killed by a dog after Bramblestar’s Storm.
~Missing Kits Season 2 - 17~
Today we have one of the rare three-kit-litters! And we notice that WindClan really likes to call their kits “Gorse”.
Runningbrook became mates with Pigonwing, who is Pigeonpaw from “Tallstar’s Revenge”.
Cranberrykit – later Cranberrypaw – was a bracken coloured she-cat with green eyes. She died of the sickness the poisoned rabbits brought in Moonrise and went to StarChan.
Thistlekit – later Thistlepaw – was a gray and white she-cat with long spiky fur and green eyes.
Gorsekit – later Gorsepaw and as a warrior Gorsetail – is a mottled, very pale, gray and white she-cat with blue eyes.
Thistlepaw and Gorsetail share a sad little story.
When WindClan moved in to their new territory, Gorsetail encountered a badger. She froze in fear, and Thistlepaw rushed over to help her sister. Together, they managed to chase the badger away, but Thistlepaw was so badly injured that she joined StarClan after the fight.
Gorsetail named her daughter, Thistleheart, after her dead sister.
~Missing Kits Season 2 - 18~
Today we look at the last two litters from WindClan and some extra information.
After Sorrelcharm died, Tornear found a new mate in Thrushwing and soon they had a single kit together.
Dewkit – later Dewpaw and as a warrior Dewspots – is a spotted gray tabby she-cat with green eyes. She is one of the kits mentioned on page 265 in Dawn.
Also we see Flypaw from “Tallstar’s Revenge” again, who is called Flylight now and has a litter with his mate Willowclaw.
Antkit – later Antpaw and as a warrior Antpelt – is a brown tom with one black ear and amber eyes. He is one of the kits mentioned on page 265 in Dawn and one of the apprentices mentioned on page 255 in Twilight. He and Swallowtail didn’t have the chance to become mates, because he died so early.
Leafkit – later Leafpaw and as a warrior Leaftail – is a very dark ginger tabby tom with amber eyes. He is one of the kits mentioned on page 265 in Dawn and one of the apprentices mentioned on page 255 in Twilight.
Now we have some extra information left.
The ginger warrior mentioned on page 102 in Midnight, and the tabby tom mentioned on pages 52 and 54 in Moonrise is Flylight.
In Moonrise page 124 it mentions that one elder died, that was Stagleap. Later on page 166 it is mentioned that even more elders joined StarClan, they were Ryestalk, Wrenflight and Plumclaw.
Also, in Dawn in page 248 it mentions a female elder, that is Doespring.
~Missing Kits Season 2 - 19~
Now we have the last section of the missing kits, the families of the Tribe of Rushing Water, we didn’t forget about them!
First, Vicky came up with some full names for Slant and Fall.
Slant is called “Shadows That Slant At Dusk”
Anf Fall is called “Fall of Snow on Water”.
The first kits are the litter of Flight of Startled Heron, who is a brown tabby, and Rock Beneath Still Water.
Pebble that Rolls Down Mountain is a pale gray she-cat with blue eyes.
Screech of Angry Owl is a black tom with orange eyes.
Splash When Fish Leaps is a light brown tabby she-cat with orange eyes.
~Missing Kits Season 2 - 20~
Oh, the last missing kits post! I’m sad it is already over, but 20 sections were a loooot!
First litter we look at today is from Star That Shines on Water, a light ginger she-cat with green eyes, and Sheer Path Beside Waterfall.
Swoop of Chestnut Hawk is a dark ginger she-cat with yellow eyes.
Moss that Grows by River is a light brown she-cat with green eyes.
The last litter is from Wing Shadow Over Water and Scree Beneath Winter Sky, a dark brown tabby.
They only had one single kit.
Storm Clouds at Dusk, a dark gray tom with blue eyes.
