So on Vicky's FB, she just stated that any cats shown in the Missing Kit's sections aren't canon. That they're just Su's own OCs.

Why do I keep on reading this series? What Vicky did was nice and Missing Kits has been fun, but it also made all (or at least most) of us assume it was legitimately canon.
Unless we're misinterpreting something here?
Eh, oh well. But really, Vicky...
Honestly, I feel more bad for Su.
And Vicky's officially leaving the team. I'm not surprised, given she's only been doing novellas up until TE.

su knows more about the characters than vicky does???? w t f ??????? the fans on these forums know more than the erins do. more so than su as well and she isnt even an erin. see, i told you the missing kits stuff was pointless. and now i've lost respect for vicky that i didnt even know was still left over!!!

Okay, I am in the minority here when I saw this, but I was never a huge fan of missing kits. Despite this, I did enjoy it. It was interesting to see what Vicky, and to a degree Su, would come up with. However...Didn't Vicky help with this project? So, now she's saying that everything involving Missing Kits is false? Like, how does Su feel about this? If I were in her shoes, unless she and Vicky already talked about it, I'd be insulted. Also, does this mean Vicky's leaving Warriors all together? That last paragraph seems to hint it.

On a serious note it really feels like Vicky's completely thrown out the towel.
I'm a bit sad because she seemed to genuinely enjoy writing the books at first. Now the series seems to be a pill to her.
Mixed emotions. I'm disappointed with how she's been recently, but if she has no motivation anymore to do the books, then she's free to go if it makes her less stressed.

Siiigh. This just keeps getting more and more awkward.. Talk about a massive flip-flop of the creator's word. I kinda feel bad for Su since she did seem to put a good deal of thought into the Missing Kits saga.

I was never a fan of the Erins delegating the confirmations (or "confirmations") to another person, but it's not Su's fault, and people are going to be so angry at Su for this

I'm pretty sure that she wanted to include Su's suggestions (as her previous comments indicated), but now that she's no longer working on the series she can't affect the books anymore and it's doubtful that the new editors/writers will take Su's suggestions into account.
She may as well remove it from the canon right away, while the heat is on her now, so people won't complain about discontinuity later and blame new editors/writers or Su for it.

Okay, this situation seems weird or slightly off to me. So far, from what I know, Missing Kits is now just Su's OCs according to Vicky. But I thought Vicky helped with that or at least gave some information for it. Also, did HC tell her to discredit Missing Kits or what? If so, there are better ways to do it then saying that it was just OCs. That seems to have caused Su, and probably even Vicky, problems. I don't know, this is just a very messy situation.

It seems very upsetting for many parties here, but I'm glad that Vicky has finally put in a stable answer as to her involvement with the books and the vast amount of characters. I suppose we must take the books at face-value (canon) and the Wiki as extra information (fanon) that can be either used or discarded at our own volition?
