Tribe of Crystal Skies
-Introduction-
You swiftly skirt around the edge of a small puddle, sending a burst of dirt into the water. But this isn't what you're focused on, your eyes are locked onto the animal in front of your paws, just a few bounds away. Prey. You become oblivious to anything else around you as you leap through the air. But to your surprise, you are pushed aside by another cat.
Letting out a startled yowl, you roll onto the ground. Anger sparks within, realizing that you lost track of your prey. "What was that?" You demand, finally meeting eyes with the opposing cat as you get to your paws.
The unknown figure rolls her eyes in annoyance. "That was me protecting my tribe's prey. You know, the Tribe of Crystal Skies."
You blink, clearly confused. "Tribe? What sort of crazy group is that?"
The she cat sighs, shifting on her paws. "It's a group of cats that is willing to take in outsiders like you so you don't take our prey." She paused and glanced behind her. "Come with me and I'll show you."

-Rules-
1. What I personally think is the most important rule, is following all of the rules that apply anywhere on this website. The last thing that I want is this clan to be deleted just because of comments that don’t follow the website’s rules.
2. Please be as active as you can once you join this RP. I understand that life gets in the way, but please notify me if you’re going to be gone for more than one week. You’ll get a warning if you have not RPed in one week, and your characters will be deleted if you do not return in two weeks. I do not count dropping in and posting once or twice a week as enough.
3. This is a semi-literate RP. I understand if the previous post was a bit difficult to post a good response to, but please try your best. Please no one-liners, and I expect reasonable grammar. Now, I do understand that we all make mistakes, as I do.
4. Please be realistic in all of your cat names and descriptions. I will not accept any cats with names such as “Shiningdiamond” or any over-the-top names. I will also not accept any cat with eyes any colors such as purple or with unrealistic coats. (Example: Light blue cat with rainbow eyes named Sparkleconfetti.) Your cats all need flaws, as they are not all perfect, and I will not accept cats with no written flaws. Try to avoid terms only used on Earth, such as types of trees, other plants, minerals, etc.
5. No spamming or advertising is allowed in the clan.
6. No spotllighting, powerplaying, mary-sues, or anything else of that kind.
7. This clan accepts cats that are LGBT+, and you’ll be reported to the mods if you make any negative comments against RPers of LGBT+ cats or anything of that kind.
8. Just be a good all around person. Be kind, respectful, and have fun so that everyone can enjoy themselves while spending time in this clan. This place is meant to escape stress, not make more.

-The World-
On the planet of Rhivyn, there’s vast differences to the land we know, Earth. Everything in Rhivyn looks very crisp, clean. Alike to glass on Earth, everything has a crystalline look. Though don’t let this fool you, even if everything may glint in the sun, objects still have their respected qualities. Grass will still bend in the wind, feathers still guide flight, and fur is still soft to the touch. Along with this, the sky is a breath-taking sight. It’s painted with pink, purple, blue, orange, red, you name it. The sky stays in a permanent sunset, the only sign it gives to suggest night being a wash of darker shades of the colors above blocking out lighter tones.
This world has many different geographical regions, varying from forests, jungles, and plains, to deserts, islands, and mountains. There’s four continents on this planet, though these and other geographical hints are spread on almost all.
These four continents are the following; Elore, Royen, Leith, and Aysuin. Each of these land masses carry their own traits, native wildlife and flora. All but one support abundant amounts of life. Leith however supports very little, being an equivalent of a wasteland. Only very specific life can live there, even them not knowing exactly how the land got that way.
Each continent is surrounded by bodies of water, Elore connecting to the smaller land mass, Royen, by a small land bridge. This journey is not recommended, however. The journey through the land bridge is said to be dangerous and long.
The cats run on a similar calendar, judging their time with the cycle of their moon, Lunreais. It’s almost always visible in the sky, its disappearance for one day marking one moon (much like a month on Earth).
-Seasons and Weather-
The tribe currently inhabits the continent Elore, which is subject to a cycle of two seasons. Each lasting about an equal amount of time of 6 moons, each season having its positive and negative. The most pleasurable season is often called “The Bringing of Life”, acting much like Spring. Flowers bloom, plants grow, life prospers. But then on the other side there’s the time of “Dormant Rest” which brings silence. Plants don’t always die out at this time, but they seem to freeze in time. Temperatures may reach slightly lower extents, but some of the more noticeable changes is no growth and slow breeding of prey. This isn’t normally a problem, since at the moment there isn’t any shortages. It may snow, but this a very uncommon event.
The norm for weather is a slight breeze, warm temperatures. It occasionally rains, about twice a moon.
-Territory- The Tribe of Crystal Skies lives in a area that mostly consists of open plains and expanses of woods. Other then those two types of geographical regions, the tribe doesn't lay claim to any other sorts of territory.
Forest of Whispers- This Forest is what takes up most of the tribe’s territory on the western side, containing many trees that are centuries old. Though the amount of undergrowth varies, on average there is only a light about of undergrowth that makes navigation easy. There’s quite a few small streams that have branches off the Qren River that run through the streams with mossy rocks spread throughout the water.
 Qren River- This River runs through most of the territory, lots of flora and wildlife thriving in its waters. It winds in a curved path, running close to camp. Though this might be good, it makes the the camp in danger for flooding. Overall the river has a muddy bottom with a calm surface, though there is certain sections that stumbling into would be a death sentence. Mossy stones tend to make paths across or lay on the banks. Erli Grasslands- This grassland is an open expanse of grass, with the Qren River running through the middle. It has quite a few rolling hills, allowing for herbs and other plants the grow. A few very sparse trees grow throughout. (We need more territory landmarks! Have an idea? PM me or post here!) -Camp-
The tribe's camp is heavily concealed under a mask of trees and other plants. The cats live in a dip in the ground, trees cover the top and sides. There's two entrances that give easy access to the camp, one of the northern side and one on the southern side. The camp is set in a small break in the trees within the forest, the area cleared out with the exception of one Leuyun tree that grows in the center of the clearing. There’s one entrance that is most commonly known, thick bushes providing walls of sorts. That one entrance is a small break in the bushes, with the Fighters’ den beside it. Fighters’ Den- This is simply composed of an overgrowth in the bush wall, the plants forming a large enough area for quite a few cats to rest. The entrance is small, but it keeps warmth in. Its placing next to the entrance of camp is often used to their advantage. Hunters’ Den and Scouts’ Den- These two dens are connected, though the two groups tend to stay to one side of the one den. The large den is made up of another bush on the side of camp, the cat’s use of the bush making it to be slightly hollowed in the inside. Nursey- The Nursey is a bit to the side from the Fighters’ den, providing a quick defense if necessary. The Nursey is made up of another fallen tree, but the space is instead in the branches of the tree. This is because over time the cats have moved other branches and weaved them in a way that a suitable cover has been created on the ground within the branches. Elders’ Den- The Elder’s den is inside of a fallen tree, also by the back of the camp. The trunk is hollowed out to a point that the normal small number of elders can easily have enough space. When not sleeping Elders like to lay in front of the tree in the sun. Tribe Leader’s Den- The Tribe Leader’s Den is in the center of camp, where a Leuyun tree grows. In the branches a den has been made, also being used as a place to make announcements when needed. Healers’ Den- This den is underneath the Leuyun tree, a den having been hollowed out underneath its roots. Light is provided by the entrance and small holes to the surface, and the dirt ground provides places to store herbs. Trainees’ Den- This den is placed by the back of the camp, beside the Elders’ Den. Its structure consists of a dip in the ground by the fallen tree used by the Elders. It’s a rather simple setup, but with the roots of the fallen tree providing a good roof over the large indent in the ground it’s sufficient enough. |

Amber has a dark red pelt, which lightens by her chest and stomach to a paler red. Her tail darkens to black by the tip (in a ombre fashion) with a stripe of black going to the base of the tail from the tip. Amber has round light green eyes, along with a slim but muscular frame with a medium length coat. Small paws with dark pink paw pads and nose are also present. Despite her rank Amber is a rather shy cat that doesn’t do much interaction that’s outside of her duties as leader. Despite this she is an excellent problem solver, and once she’s explaining a plan she won't stop talking until her explanation is done. Amber is also a very understanding she-cat, with a very kind edge to her. Though this doesn’t mean that when necessary she can deal out worthy punishment and pain, even if it hurts her. |Amber wants a mate, but is worried that one would only like her for her rank. |Amber hasn’t always been in the tribe. She doesn’t remember much about where she came from, but when she was a young kit she stumbled upon camp and was taken in after that.| Being that Amber is quite young for a Tribe Leader, she’s always that she doesn’t have enough experience to lead the tribe. When the previous leader passed, it was a large shock that they had meowed her name out clear right before passing. This aside she is slowly adjusting as good as she can.|

Ash has dark brown coat, the color staying true throughout his whole pelt. His fur is short and close to his coat, even on his tail. He is on the smaller side with shorter legs but a long tail. Other small details are his wide yellow eyes, long whiskers, brown paws pads and nose. Ash is childish, but not in a disrespectful way. For example he often lets out a arrangement of meows, and would rather splash in a stream then calmly stand. He’s playful and loves the company of others, often being a little too loud or slightly annoying. He’s also a kind cat who can shake his playfulness when necessary, but that doesn’t happen very often. He thinks most cats enjoy being around him, but he’s often left to question that on his own.

Seed is a very small tom, nearly the size of an apprentice. He has a ratty dark brown tabby coat that always seems to be lightly matted or tangled, in a messy state all the time. His tabby marking are slightly hard to see but they are there, and he has a white underbelly that is very prominent. His paws, ears, and legs are quite ridiculously long and look slightly comical but he is quite self-conscious about them. He has very blunt, short claws that are no good for much except hunting, but definitely not for fighting. His eyes are dark brown and aren't very interesting.
Seed is quite a noble warrior and will think nothing of dying for his clan, not afraid of anything and ready to charge into battle without hesitation. He is very social with everyone and tries to make as any friends and connections as possible to reach his goal of becoming deputy one day. This young tom has ambitions and he is bound to eventually achieve them, working very hard. He can often be clingy and act desperate sometimes to be 'cool', and comes off as fake sometimes or makes bad attempts to be funny. Every single day, he tries to act all selfless and goes on as many patrols as possible, but everyone knows about his lifelong goal: the only motivation for all this work he's putting into everything. Some cats love him for his apparently charming personality, but a lot of others don't really admire him at all. Darali's name could not be more suiting both for his appearance and his personality. Much like the bird that is his namesake, he is a very boastful, yet bulky cat, sporting a thick build, well-trained muscles, and big paws. His fur is shorthair and always well-groomed, primarily jet-black. The only disruptions to this color are dashes of white marking his chest, nose and snout. Given his larger appearance and the countless scars littering his body, it's no wonder that some find him intimidating. Though in actuality, Darali is quite gentle when it counts. His eyes are a copper color.
Darali is proud to a fault - always too busy boasting and showing off to think logically. Often times he puts 'being the best' before his own safety or the safety of his tribemates. Of course, he could never purposefully cause harm to a comrade. It's more a matter of him not thinking things through completely, or him generally being too thick-skulled to consider others. Towards she-cats especially Darali is practically a whole new cat - laid-back, caring, but annoying flirtatious. Nearly a complete opposite of his regular immature self. A deeper part of Darali thinks he behaves so childishly is because he's afraid to grow old, or afraid of a boring life. Not that he'd ever reveal such feelings, of course. Darali has a weird habit of twitching his ears/tail or thrashing his left hindleg when being forced to wait for something. He's rather impatient like that, thinking he should be everyone's number one priority. Leaving his pelt even the slightest bit messy also irritates him, and he frequently is found furiously nipping at knots whenever he gets the chance. | N/A | Born and raised in the tribe. | Other |

Like the hunters, the fighters do what their name suggests. They are ones who act as guards, and fight whenever the tribe is threatened.

Star is a tall, surprisingly muscular cat under his thick fur. Wide yellow eyes and black paw pads are small details around his nearly pure black long fur. However the darkness is broken up by a white tail tip, “boots” of white on all four paws, white chest, and a splash of white on his nose.
Star is a very confident tom, not afraid to speak his word at anytime. He’s bold with little measure of danger, often leading to him putting him or others in danger. He often acts on the whim without much thinking, though he makes up for this with his determination. He can be rather rude at times, but it’s rare that he actually means his insults or questionable comments.

These cats serve the tribe by healing the cats, collecting herbs and putting them to use when needed. Up to two.
{Shadow of Flying Bird}
Healer | She-cat/Female | 38 moons | Bisexual
Shadow looks exactly like her name, a sleek black she-cat with a long coat that is usually well-groomed.She does have a white marking on her forehead and a white forepaw, but otherwise those are her only markings. Muscles gently ripple under her thick, long pelt, but they are very hard to see. Her build is quite sturdy and compact, but it looks delicate at first glance. Her eyes are probably her most distinguishing feature, a startling hazel color that is actually splashed with green, blue, and a bit of amber. They shine in the light very easily and almost always look like they are twinkling slightly.
Shadow is the ideal healer, supposedly. She has the perfect touch when coming to injuries, a surprisingly good memory, and intelligence that surpasses most cats. Her personality however... It has its flaws for sure. She can be very overprotective in good or bad ways, always trying to heal her patients to the fullest extent possible when letting them go. She has her firm beliefs that will never be shaken even by the most persistent cat, making her horribly stubborn. Often she will try and be very motherly to everyone or sweet but for the most part she is quiet and prefers to be a 'shadow', like her name. She is also very worried about what cats will think of her, and gets very panicked when a cat tries to make a long conversation with her. She always has more of a flight rather than fight response but that's just natural for her, and she is supposedly very cowardly and weak but still tries to put others before herself. Often Shadow has a tendency to go into her own dream world and forget about what is really going on, frequently misplacing things or getting lost in though. {Mist in Morning Light}
Scout| Female | 9 Moons | Bisexual
Mist is a pure gray she-cat, always light on her feet with long legs and a slender body. She has a long tail that is accompanied by short fur and bright green eyes. Mist a is a medium sized cat and doesn’t hold many unique traits about her appearance, but she makes up for this with her personality. Mist has lots of personality packed into her small frame. She might come off as sweet when you first meet her, but you’ll quickly pick up on her underlying sarcasm and borderline rudeness. While she does have this slight passive-aggressive part of her, her fake kindness can become true when she trusts someone greatly or finds herself in a life or death situation. She’s one to evaluate a situation carefully before reacting, using detailed plans to worked around anything, however she can be surprisingly quick to anger.

-Traditions-

-Plants-
Leuyun Tree- Lueyun is a type of tree, the most common type that grows within the tribe’s reach. It has dark brown bark with white markings, branches that are rather low to the ground accompanying it. It has bright green leaves and grows blue fruits that attract prey.
Vlao Tree- This is another type of tree that is quite common. It mixes in with other trees, also having smooth bark that travels up the long trunks. The bark is a darkened gray that edges on brown, dark but defined green leaves with an oval shape hang thin from the the tops of the trees. Vlao trees are often the trees that grow the tallest known to the cats.

-Herbs-
Ryen- This is a highly beneficial plant, used often for soothing open wounds after it is chewed, spread across the injury. It grows along the banks of the Qren River in the area where it enters the territory in small clusters, the flowers of this plant being what is used for medical use. There’s only one flower per plant, the petals having a large range in color. This tulip-like flowers can be orange, yellow, red, and any colors in between. Ryen is plentiful on the edges of tribe territory, but there’s a few patches that have been maintained by generations of healers closer to camp.
Yestel- Yestel is a simple bush that is scattered around the portion of territory with large amounts of trees, having waxy dark green leaves with an oval shape. Though it may look strong it’s easily pulled out of the ground, roots being what’s actually beneficial. The roots are chewed and slathered on a infection (but never ingested) to fight back the infection.
Zibre- This plant can be useful for quite a few reasons. When this plant’s berry is spread across a patch of skin, it numbs the area. Often used when a cat is in extreme pain or distress. Zibre grows high in the branches of trees in the Forest of Whispers when exposed to high amounts of light, leeching off of it’s chosen tree. While it’s hard to harvest it’s worth retrieve. However, this palm-like plant has more than one use. It’s berries are deadly when ingested, and can be used when a cat is past saving.
Beyf- Small leafy plant that grows close to the ground on open plains, having a similar appearance to grass. But there’s a small difference, the Beyf plant glints more than normal in the sun, catching the eye of travelers. It’s placement is rather helpful, as when split open, the drops of liquid inside can help sooth a cracked or sore paw pad.
Bine- The Bine plant is an extremely common, medium-sized plant and can be found virtually anywhere that blooms about halfway into a year. It has large, pointed leaves, which are usually emerald in color. It also grows large flowers, which can be white and dark grey. Strips of the leaves are eaten to soothe bellyaches and similar problems, while the petals are easily preserved and used to bring down fevers when made into a polyjuice and ingested.
-Predators-
With all of the ideal conditions and serious, life is abundant on the continent Elore. Predators are not an exception when it comes to this rule, leading to large amounts of predators spread out on the territory.
Ath- The Ath is a rather uncommon predator, mostly living beyond the tribe’s territory unless they venture in the borders. It is slightly larger than the average cat, thin brown-red fur covering its body. It has short legs and a stubby tail accompanied by long fangs. It almost has a bear like appearance on a small scale, also carrying the trait of a thick mane. This makes delivering a deathbite quite difficult, but a technique for charging at the Ath’s eyes has been developed. They are very solitary creatures and have been known to protect their territory very fiercely and won’t hesitate to charge.

-Prey-
Dlulin- This creatures is fast on its feet, having long legs, shaggy fur, and short antlers sprouting from the heads of both genders. Their coats don’t help them in terms of camouflage, their fur possibly being either brown, gray, or white. If you’re lucky enough to stumble upon one of these uncommon animals, you have to be careful how you attack them. They aren’t the smartest, but they are quick to bolt. They are very rewarding and give lots of meat, often only caught by the most experienced hunters.
Vizari- The Vizari is a small mammal with soft light brown fur. It has short legs that somehow still allow them to go at high speeds, although not fast enough that a cat can’t run it down. Short, spiny teeth are accompanied by two horns protruding from its face. This isn't the only odd detail, being that the Vizari also has a long tail that can be used as a whip when threatened. However it may sting, it doesn’t do much harm to a cat or anything larger.
Darali- This is a medium sized, slow bird. It is successful at flying from branch to branch (flying through the sky is a different story, however) but once on the ground it takes great effort to get back into the branches. It’s a very flashy animal, though most of its feathers are a deep shade of black. But mixed in are feathers that are a bright and shimmering purple, eyes following the same color code. The reason behind this is unknown, but the meat of this bird is highly desired.
Egoni- The Egoni is a uncommon type of fish, displaying light bronze, dark gray, light gold, or dark brown scales. The color of the scales change as they camouflage with the river bed, relying on that before their strong, thick scales. They have two side fins, a huge, sail-like dorsal fin and a large, powerful tail and long anal fin. This fish isn’t very commonly eaten due to the scales, but it’s admired greatly.
Iyica- This mammal is a small burrower, having made expanses of tunnels under the tribe’s territory. There’s several techniques to catch this white furred creature, which also has a long, puffy tail. It is a extremely fast digger even though it’s slightly slower on land. Its eyes are normally pure black, but there is always a few exceptions.
