Since I'm apparently stuck here in Starclan, I might as well have some fun.
This is Destroy The World, a game I used to play with the kits.
Rules:
Post something that can defeat the previous thing.
You can't use the same thing twice.
You must add why it defeats the previous thing.
I'll start.
Sandstorm.

But the cure was contaminated so the someone ended up dying from infection while the doctor felt so guilty she ran away into the mountains, never to be seen again.

Their owners get arrested for animal abuse. (They probably wouldn't, but abandoning a group of cats who were born pets, who never learned how to hunt or take care of themselves on their own, is just wrong. They wouldn't survive, like you said.)
