Intro/Background:
For those that clicked this not knowing what AMC's preacher is (or the comics) basically it's about a preacher who gets possessed by a being who gives him the power to control what people do. Alongside his ex-wife, and best friend who just so happens to be a vampire the three are trying to find God himself who has gone missing from heaven. While doing this they are being hunted by a angel named The Saint of Killers.
However this rp is not about Jesse Custer, and his adventures. Instead as to avoid comic spoilers, and my lack of preferring to rping OCs this rp shall follow a new Preacher who just so happens to get the same kind of power as Jesse Custer.
Plot:
Thomas Michaels once America's most wanted, now newly released preacher. Thomas whose father was the old Preacher of a small town in Illinois who was murdered one day by an unknown assailants. His father was quite strict on Thomas, some would even say abusive. Maybe that was why when his father died Thomas started to join a group of bank robbers, and went on trip to become the Infamous Illinois Bandits.
However that was in his young adult life, and with prison Thomas became a more dependable guy. Well at least he says so, the church he owns from his father is in horrible condition. Maybe three families show up to church on a good sunday, though most the time no one much cares for going to church in this town. Until one day when Thomas suddenly gained a new friend. A demon soon found a host in Thomas, and with this new found ability to control people with merely speaking he commanded the town to come to church. The town was soon back to it's old ways of worshipping their lord.
Though how long would this church stand when ___________ a wealthy bank owner is trying to buy the church land, and this person is willing to do anything to get that land. If that wasn't enough Thomas is being hunted by Angels who want to take back Genesis the demon inside Thomas as it isn't a power any human should have in their eyes.
Rules:
Basically common sense, and forum rules.
Anything past pg-13 can go to PMs if whichever characters' owners all wanna keep going. (Battles, romance, etc) Must be 18 for this part.
Preacher does consist of a lot of drinking, and drugs. Doesn't need to be described in clear detail.
No god-modding, and perfect characters
Ask me to make a mafia, gang, or whatever. (Also if a mafia is made an Arch-angel, or vampires should be the boss.)
God isn't rped since if we do get that far he won't be a big part funny enough.
I don't care if you miss a few commas, but I'd prefer it if you kept to a paragraph per post.
Gay, Bi, and all that is allowed, but don't force it.
As for any other characters go wild, as this plot can go anyway. We can slightly follow the show's flow, or go off on a different angle.
The type of characters in this rp shall include:
Angels: Sent from heaven to obtain Genesis the power that Thomas is the current host of. To get Genesis they have to either make a deal with Thomas in which he can live past the ordeal, or they can kill him. Angels in this universe look like normal humans, no wings, and they can't die. Well they can, but when they do they merely respawn nearby in a new body.
Humans: Not much to say here. You can rp one of Thomas' old friends from his bank robbing days, to a church organist, to the town sheriff, to a random person. Their goal is to either help the preacher, or work at the bank company. Like I said not much rules with what you do here. You can make a mafia if you like. Just make sure you ask me, and tell me what their goal is.
Vampires: Aight so they act like normal humans. In fact they don't need blood to live, blood merely heals them. They can be just like humans as in go wild. The only difference is I want vampires to be really limited. Only maybe three in this rp at a time.
Arch-angel: Idk what else to call them. They like vampires shall be limited at five at a time. They are like angels, but more powerful then normal ones. (For those watching the show, or reading the comics this type is like Saint of Killers.) Some are ancient warriors, cowboys, serial killers, and etc. They have powers, and their goal is normally to kill the Preacher. Their powers can include super strength, healing, amazing aim, etc. No controlling time, fire, etc.

Thomas Michaels isn't what you'd expect from the town preacher. He stands at 6'5, and has short raven black hair normally slicked back in a fancy manner. He has a pair of light grey eyes, and an X carved into his forehead from his past. He has an lean body build. His body is filled with artwork from a demon screaming to a snake with one eye missing on his arm. On the back of his neck is his old crews symbol of a shark with a pirate look to it. As for clothing he mainly wears a black dress shirt with a white collar, and a pair of black dress pants with a black belt. He is rarely seen not wearing any other type of clothing. He has a ring with a cross on it that his father gave him before his passing.
As for his personality Thomas is a very calm guy most the time. Even back in his criminal days he was known for being silent, and dependable. However he can have his outburst of anger, and when he does he can be quite the monster as he loses control, or at least that what he says. When he's like this he's likely to break something, or hurt someone if he's in a fight. He isn't as religious as many would think in fact he only puts that on when he's around strangers who don't know the real Thomas. He is a drinker, and smoker though he isn't dependable on the substances. Despite being a preacher he is willing to help hide a body if need be. As the story continues Genesis will start to make his outburst more common.

Jack The Ripper most assume the serial killer would be long gone. However the darkness surrounding him gave god the idea to have him relive his death in hell, but give him special powers he could use if he escaped hell, or was let loose. Jack as an angel looks like a any other normal guy. He stands around 6'0, and has a lean body build. He has shaggy light brown hair, and a pair of light blue eyes. He tends to wear fancy suits with a red scarf. Inside his suit jacket is a bunch of knives. He has no scars from his past, or anything that could give away he was an angel.
Jack normally walks around as a gentleman type guy who just so happens to be rich. He is a ladies man, and tends to flirt a lot. However despite working for Heaven if he can get a girl to come home with him she won't leave alive. When the pressure is on he starts to make jokes, and play around. He loves playing hunting, and when he thinks the Preacher will be to hard to get to he will leave for hunting trips that last weeks. He tends to try to live a normal life in hopes that he can delay completing his mission on killing the preacher so he can enjoy being out of hell again.
