I've seen a few "rogue" clans floating around and I've been in the mood to make a clan recently, so why not make my own? I like the idea of a clan run by rogues, like a BloodClan type. I have a basis of an idea and I was wondering if anyone else found it interesting and would be willing to help.
So, these cats would be rogues (with rogue names and possibly BloodClan-like collars for a distinguishing factor), but have formed their own alliance (a clan of sorts- ranking differences and customs to be discussed). And basically, they live on a small, abandoned street, and have since the clan began. And since plots in the beginning of an rp are always fun, I was thinking that maybe this street is beginning to be renovated by two-legs and turned into an active, prosperous place. This, of course, is bad for the clan, so they will have to find a new place to move to. Possibly an abandoned shack somewhere in town/right outside? These are city-dwelling cats, basically strays, so they don't really know their way around a forest. So, where and how they decide to move will be a major aspect of the plot.
I know this is a lot to read, and I don't really want to sway from the main theme, but I'm definitely open to suggestions! (and of course helpers lol)

--Guardians: The warriors of the clan. The guardians are highly respected in the clan and offer the best skills in hunting and fighting.
--Starters: The apprentices of the clan. These cats are in training to be guardians, and one is in training underneath the mender.
--Mothers: The queens of the clan. These she-cats are expecting or taking care of kits.
--Kits: These cats are the future of the clan.
--Elders: The elderly or retired cats of the clan. These cats are the ones that make the collars and help the queens if needed.
--Outsiders: These are the cats that are outside of the clan, such as kitty-pets, loners, and exiled cats. They are treated as enemies.

customs;;
Customs
1. Without belief in any higher power, the monarch only has one life- the life he or she has been born with.
2. The monarch decides how strictly the rules should be followed. Some monarchs may be harsher than others.
3. When a cat decides that he or she wants to take on a mate, they must ask the monarch for permission. If permission is granted, the two cats may become mates. If permission is not given, the cats cannot become mates unless the monarch later changes their mind, or a new monarch with differing opinions is appointed.
4. Kits born from an unfit parentage (i.e. forbidden romance), are subject to scorn or exile.
5. Outsiders are rarely accepted into the clan, but on the grounds that they might be, that cat must prove their skills as a fighter in a sparing match with the monarch themselves, and/or a cat the monarch appoints.
6. Collars are awarded to cats on the day of their guardian or mender ceremony. The collar must be worn until the cat dies.
8. The amount of teeth and claws on the collars symbolizes fighting skills. The more teeth/claws the cat has on its collar, the higher the demand is for respect.
7. Every cat is trained to hunt and fight, whether they choose the path of a guardian or mender.
code;;
The Clan Code
1. Defend the clan with your life.
2. Cats who commit treason against the clan are subject to immediate exile, or even death depending on the circumstance.
3. Challenge every trespassing cat. Attack first, ask questions later.
4. Pure-blood within the clan is treated with the utmost respect and priority. Relationships with outsiders are not to be held because of this.
5. Menders are not to take a mate or have kits. Their duty is to care for the clan, not themselves.
6. If a monarch breaks a fundamental rule (i.e. treason or forbidden relationship), it is up to the proxy and the mender to decide suitable punishment.
Breaking the Code will result in immediate punishment decided by the monarch, though if allowed, the proxy is able to intervene. The typical consequence is exile, and in extreme cases, death.
territory/camp;;
territory: an abandoned street filled with dilapidated buildings overgrown with plant life; nearby two-leg place and park/campground (field/meadow- dangerous during summer months because of adventurous two-legs hiking; few picnic tables- good for scavenging but very dangerous in two-leg season) forest on edge of campgrounds-mostly unknown and dangerous (rebellious starters like to try and make their way here unseen)
camp: an abandoned/dilapidated shack near the two-leg place
Known to two-legs as Grady Street, the cats of FurtiveClan have claimed this abandoned world as their home. FurtiveClan's territory extends as long as the street itself, overrun by overgrown plant life and abandoned buildings. To most cats this would be a dangerous place to explore, but not to FurtiveClan. This street had been their home for seasons, and they know it like the back of their paw. The cats have set up their camp in an overgrown courtyard that is situated between two larger buildings near the center of the street. Covered with a concrete roof, the camp is sheltered from the elements, as well as having concrete underpaw. Like the rest of the street, the courtyard is overgrown with flora, serving as protection for the designated dens, which are separated by columns along the edge of the courtyard. The mender and monarch's dens are located near the northern exit of camp, while the proxy and guardians' dens are by the southern entrance. In the center of camp there is a broken and chipped concrete bench, where the monarch and proxy announce clan meetings. To the northwest is the territory lies the two-leg place. This is a collection of houses filled with two-legs and their families, and often kitty-pets. It is quite dangerous to the clan, and is off limits to younger cats. To the south of the territory is the two-leg camp, known to the two-legs as Grady Park. A wide open field with various picnic tables, the two-leg camp is a popular place to find two-legs hiking and camping during green-leaf. It is incredibly dangerous during the summer months, and is it to be strictly avoided. On the outskirts of the two-leg camp is the woodland. This is simply a forested area, but is home to many dangerous animals such as foxes and badgers. The woodland is also off limits to the clan, but more specifically the younger cats.
plots;;
Main plot: The threat of two-legs is higher than ever with animal control patrolling and construction on Grady Street starting in the near future. FurtiveClan's home is in danger, and when the two-legs begin to tear down the territory, their risk of being there is higher than ever. Will the clan find a new place to live or perish forever?
intro/history;;
Seasons and seasons ago a ruthless group of cats known as BloodClan ruled the streets. They were lead by a merciless leader, Scourge. The fearsome Scourge was killed in battle, and while his spirit is long gone, his legacy continues. There are little to no descendants from the original BloodClan and not even the name stays the same, but some of the customs and ways of life remain. FurtiveClan is harsh and cruel, allowing only the strongest to survive and continue on their bloodline. The cats who belong to this Clan are feared by all. They rule the city they belong in. No outsider in their right mind would dare walk FurtiveClan's street unless they welcomed the idea of a painful death. While FurtiveClan has come together and have survived thus far, it is now time for a new generation of fearless guardians to step forward and walk this harsh path of life and death as the Clan would have it.

Rules
1. Forum Rules: This a given. Follow the rules that the forum has provided, and you should have no problems.
2. Activity: I understand that people have lives, and can't always get on the forums everyday, but please try to be on at least twice a week, with at least one of those days having role-played. This isn't a chat group, and while chatting is totally accepted, you must role-play as well.
3. Replies: While this clan doesn't have a label of "advanced" or "literate", please try to follow the rules of grammar. I want this to be a safe place for everyone, and have everyone feel accepted, but talking like you have no education at all is hard for anyone to deal with. Also, please at least try not to write one-liners. I understand if you're trying and you have no muse, but at least try to write two to three lines per role-play post. That will make it easier for everyone's creative juices to get flowing.
4. Gender Ratio: Please try to have somewhat of an equal amount of genders within your characters. I understand if you can't make it perfectly equal, but at least try to. If you have an overabundance of one gender, I will kindly ask you to make another character of the opposite gender. (i.e. four toms, two she-cats)
5. Perfection and Realism: Please, no mary-sues or gary sues (stus?). No one is perfect, and the same goes for animals! As for realism, no wings, powers, or unnatural pelt colors. If it can't happen in nature naturally, it can't happen here.
6. LGBTQA+: Everyone is accepted here, and the same goes for cats. If you disagree or don't like it, this isn't the role-play for you.
7. Plots, Drama, Romance: Before making a large plot, whether it be romance or action, please run it by me first! This is just a common courtesy, and helps keep me in the loop of things.
