OOC CHATTER {{ - i read your title wrong ;;
I like making basic pizzas. You gott get tortillas, pizza sauce and whatever toppings you want if you can get pre-made salads, I personally get a big box of frozen chicken nuggets and put them in the salad - }}

Peanut butter and honey on a folded tortilla is really good for lunch/snacks
Chicken wings from the store, but those are sort of pricey
Cereal
Rather than boiling eggs, learn to fry them, it's really easy once you learn how, and fliipping them without breaking a yolk is really satisfying
Noodles + some sort of sauce (like alfredo sauce, you can get it at any grocery store pre made) are really easy and simple and rediculously cheap but great meals, good for dinners

oo ya i have a few suggestions
basically a big thing is like - get certain essentials and have them 24/7. i'd suggest a good amount of frozen foods tbh - i usually have frozen chicken as well as appetizers like fries lying around, so i can make chicken tenders and fries and just pop both in the oven u know? and it's p cheap stuff
also would recommend getting some kind of vegetable smoothie. i /love/ v8, so i drink that a ton. getting enough veggies is hard and can be expensive, so for lazy days just juice works fine. it's only like $4 or so for a container w/ multiple servings
i rly love making homemade pico de gallo too (and using that to make guacamole). i usually chop up one big tomato (or two medium ones), half of an onion (i forget what theyre called but like, basically the purple ones), cilantro (just cut up the leafy bits and throw it in the bowl), and then squeeze half a lime into it (or not if you dont like lime lol). it's a lil more expensive as far as buying the groceries go, but tbh a whole bowl + some chips is super healthy and tasty, and is probably worth like two meals for one person (you can throw it in the fridge and have it the next day too).
simple beans and rice is always good - just pick up a can of refried beans, white rice, and that together w/ some salt and chicken is super basic but works for a p good lunch lol
nachos are also rly easy and simple! bag of chips, jump it in one of those glass rectangular containers that go in the oven (it's late and im forgetting words, ok), put a can of beans on top, plus cheese (for this i'd go with a mexican blend - it's just like, in a bag at the grocery store, tho my fav is mozzarella but that's just me personally), and stick it in the oven and check it every now and again until it looks good (maybe you can microwave it if youre not a huge oven person?). buy a thing of salsa (they're cheap, like $3 a container) and you can put it on after - p good nachos tbh
uhhh
i rly like making chicken parmesan too. i use spaghetti first and basically throw half the container into boiling water, and stir it for like 10 minutes (or basically until it's super flimsy). to make it easier i just use frozen chicken for this, but i put that in the oven, and then melt some mozzarella (the kind in the bag) on top. i just put the chicken on the spaghetti w/ some redsauce, and it's super basic but good chicken parmesan : D
what rly helps me basically is just having staples around 24/7. i think up a list of what i typically eat for breakfast, lunch, dinner, for snacking on, and then possibly dessert - just cheap things i have lying around
making omelettes is also apparently super easy - my 15 year old brother did it a LOT when i lived at home, and tho i never tried to make it myself, he picked up on it p quickly. just youtube a tutorial and be prepared to use 2 eggs, cheese, and other stuff you may have lying around (tomatoes, ham, etc).
hope it helps 0: i grew up in a household that kinda placed a weird importance on food, and tho i probably shame my mom in that respect, i rly love thinking of things to make dssjfksal
if you want to PM me i can share some more stuff 0: ive got healthier things i can list, tho i didnt yet bc some of them are a lil harder to prepare (or have more of a learning curve or w/e).

one of my favorites that sorta requires skill but it's easy to get used to.
put oven on broil get your desired amount of bread and slather both sides of each piece with mayo. (very important) add cheese(+ham/turkey,etc if you want.) close the pieces of bread put on oven safe thing put in oven watch it carefully. Once one side is turning brown, take it out and flip it over. do the same on the other side. take it out and eat your grilled cheese.
When I do it I like to add Herb de Provence on the top but that's special stuff from France. My dad sometimes adds a sunny side up egg after it's done cooking.

I'll try to show you simple recipes. most of mine are not simple. but...here are the simple ones
Broccoli and pasta is like the simplest and tastiest. so heres what you need one pkg. of dried angel hair pasta (I use homemade pasta which is hecka lot better, but whtevr) two bunches of broccoli uhh like two or more big hand fulls of fresh snap peas 3-4 cloves of garlic, minced a few TBSPs of olive oil garlic salt to taste Asiago cheese, or parmesan (sometimes, I add in other veggies. this is just the basics. I like to sometimes put in add-ins like smoked ham thats diced or sliced thin and in small cuts, mushrooms, eggplant, asparagus, chopped tomatoes, frsh parsley, and so on. you get what I like. I like fresh veggies) ANYWAY. so here how it goes boil a big pan of water (preferably with a spaghetti pan thing to drain it well)with salted water. Once boiling, add your pasta and cook until al dente (or whatever. until done) Meanwhile, stem all the snap peas, chop all veggies (cut the broccoli into their spears and stem them until they're done. about maybe 5 minutes). Sautee garlic in olive oil (in a hot pan, of course). Add in your veggetables. Sautee until veggies (including the stemmed broccoli) are tender. Season to taste with garlic salt, or salt Put drained pasta in a big dish and toss with the veggies. Add a little of the cooking water if necessary. Shred asiago cheese on top and put in a hot oven (or broil...or you can even skip this step). I also like to top it with toasted almonds. its gr8

also I have a recipe for a thing thats called Runzas and its like the most amazing sandwich ever. it requires more work, but the only ingredients are just like stuff for dough (flour, yeast, butter and all that stuff) and meat and cabbage for the filling. its really not hard, and you can make a bunch of them and freeze them and have a whole months supply of runzas. When you want to eat a frozen one, just defrost it in the microwave, and preferably, toast it on a buttered skillet until its like, fried/toasted. its amazing. I've grown up on them

Recipe for Runzas 2 C. warm water 2 TBSPs yeast 1/2 C. sugar 1-1/2 tsp. salt 1 egg 1/4 C butter, melted 6-1/2 C. flour - mix warm water, sugar and yeast until disolved. Add salt, egg butter and a few cups of flour. Mix. Add in enough flour to make a dough. Knead, adding flour if necessary until smooth and flexiable. Let rise an hour or so. - Filling 1-1/2 lbs ground beef 1/2 C. onion 2 cloves minced garlic 1-1/2 tsp salt 3 C. shredded cabbage (I like more) 1/2 C. water 1/2 tsp pepper - cook beef until done. Pour water in it and drain to get all the grease out. Add onions and garlic and cook until tender. Add remaining ingredients. Simmer, covered 15-20 minutes. Cool.
Roll dough out in an oblong shape; cut into 16 squares (4x4) Put filling in center. Top with shredded cheddar cheese (I sometimes like to add a mixture of asiago and cheddar. I love asiago). Pull sides together and seal all edges to make a oval shaped bun thin. Place on a greased baking sheet. (sometimes I sprinkle the mixuture of cheese ontop of the dough, too, before baking)let rise 15-20 minutes. bake 350* 15-20 minutes.
